Flash Player requires "Launch" to reproduce video content

Am currently Flash Player 11.5.502.146 on Windows 7 64 bit with Firefox 18.0.1.

I had a strange accident.  When I go on youtube.com and select a video, all I get is a black box without control and nothing happens. (This also happens on other sites such as CBSSports.com)  If I right click on the black box said, it just says: "about Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.146" which of course takes me to the websight Aodobe.

Here's the strange part: if I run a video on Facebook, it works even if I opt to open it on youtube.  So if I select another video or close and reopen the browser, we're back to the black box.  It's almost as if the other Web site "relaunch" the player.

Another strange thing I've noticed, is that when working with sites adobe troubleshooting tools (such as the detection of versions etc) when the function was supposed to be a box generated at the sight of Adobe with controls or options, it would never appear.  I also tried all the solutions suggested here:

_Flash_Player_browsing_data http://helpx.adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/Flash-Player-Games-Video-or.html#main_5__Delete_all no avail.

I installed 11.6 beta and Adobe Shockwave, tried to switch to IE9 and Chrome with no resolution.

I have it.  Figured out that it was certainly a CA/Total related process defense, just couldn't nail what I did some poking around the subjects of defence full support.

Just in case someone ele running computer Assosciates/Total Defense Security Suite, that's what I had to do:

Open Total Defence Home, go to my Internet, click on update settings, then browser Protection and uncheck the Pop Up Blocker control.

I think since Firefox has it's own Pop Up Blocker, so this is really a minimal security risk.

  • Adobe Flash Player requires me to click 'OK' whenever I need?

My Flash Player refuses to launch automatically, can anyone help? I am tired to click OK every time that I need because I sail. Only, this started 2 weeks ago. Before there was no problem then, I am embarrassed to say that I have somehow made myself. So far, I went to my 'plugins' page and everything is set as "active".  I don't know what else to do. I have Win XP Home, Adobe flash player 11 is installed. I hope someone can help.

If anyone still has this problem, I solved my problem by clicking on the tab of the opera in the upper left corner and "Opera turbo" switch OFF.

I also had problems with waiting for videos to load and get a "Adobe/Shockwave plugin slows down your computer" error message.  This solves this problem as well.

  • Since firefox has blocked Adobe flash player how can I veiw videos online?

My computer and the operating system are archaic - xp - and a very old computer, but flash player ran in the past. Firefox blocks any attempt to update adobe flash player citing vulnerability. And yet, they don't give NO option to watch videos on your tube or any other site. What can I do? I click on the box always allow, but Flash Player is still blocked.

On Windows XP, you can consider using the Extended Support Release - Flash Player 13.0.0.305. New versions of Flash offer features that Windows XP cannot use - features only available in Vista and more recent operating system of Windows.

Scroll down about 3/4 of the way to the bottom of this page.

Enter the windows > browsers Plugin-> EXE installer version.

But before you install it, you must first run the uninstall program Adobe Flash to get a clean install of Flash.

  • Why are there now TWO Adobe Flash Player required to view all of the Web sites: v11.9.900 and v12.0.0.43?

I had Adobe Flash Player v.11.9.900.170 and upgraded to v.12.0.0.43. When I checked the Add-ons Manager, both versions of Flash were listed and active. I disabled the earlier version, and now indicate a few sites I don't have Flash. When I re-activated the old version, the video has played very well. So what's the problem with it is necessary to have TWO versions of Flash Player installed, the current one AND a previous one? Seems hinkey...

@cor-el: the previous version seemed to disappear of itself, about 12 hours later. I checked the topic: plugins page (along with the Add/Remove Programs), and only the latest version of Flash is not installed. I have already refreshed the pluginreg.dat file.

There always at least a web page that asks for the installation of Flash Player, but it works very well on almost all other Web sites.

  • After you have installed Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Flash Player 11.6 20.0, videos YouTube do not load correctly.

Videos YouTube has of worked before installing Adobe Flash Player. Once installed the screen flickers, after a second, rewind at the start, then plays normally. This only happens when I use Internet Explorer. I reinstalled Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player several times but nothing seems to work. Decommissioning of Adobe Flash Player does not work either. It seems that Firefox is the problem, but I'm not completely sure.

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • Can't find the flash player to play the downloaded videos

I downloaded the latest version of flash player successfully and I can see it in the Control Panel, but it will not appear on my list of programs, or when I try to read a downloaded .flv file.

I use Windows XP Professional, version 5.1, 32bits, Mozilla Firefox 24.0, Flash Player 11.9.900

As a note, all videos play very well when I use Firefox and I already tried all the solutions on this page:

You won't find in programs because it is not a. It is a browser plugin and will appear in Firefox Add-ons (or Plugins for IE)

You can download the Windows Flash Player 11.9 projector which is a stand-alone player, but it lacks most of the controls as videos have in a web browser.

You can find the FLV files play MUCH better if you use VLC Media Player.

I used it for FLV, MP4, MPEG, MOV, WMV and AVI playback for years.

  • Green flash player from Adobe during the video playback screen

    Hello

I get this green screen when I play videos on my IE9 browser on a desktop computer Win 7 (64-bit). This Green screen during playback of a video that uses the Adobe flash player (version 11.5.502.146), but it happens only after the first part of the video (entire video is already loaded) is played and the rest of the green screen video and plays accelerated, as if she was fast forwarded. The audio of the video is also affected as he plays static of different frequencies.
The videos that I watched come from http://xin.msn.com/ and http://www.youtube.com/. I also tried to solve this problem with disabling hardware acceleration in flash player menu and uninstall and reinstall and then restart the computer, which are both different attempts that did not solve the problem.

Help solving this problem on site will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

Disable hardware acceleration: How to disable or enable hardware acceleration?

  • Flash Player plays audio but no video

The Flash player on my computer plays audio but no video.  The screen is blank.  If I move my mouse over the screen, sometimes, the video will be momentarily but then disappear.  This happened for months

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times.  I've disabled ActiveX filtering and enabled the Flash module.

When I go to Test Flash Site, I can see the animation of the ball moving across the screen.   And he tells me that the program is installed successfully.

When I search the Flash program on my computer I can't find it.  Also, I can't find the AppData folder.

    I have the version 11.1.102.55

    Windows 7 / 64-bit

    THAT IS TO SAY 9

Windows: How do I update the device driver for my graphics/video card?

  • Flash Player glitch on ONLY Youtube videos!

    Hello

I have some problems with Adobe Flash Player on the Youtube video only (the two browsers: IE and Firefox). Other sites using flash player are working, like Megavideo or VideoBB. I have Windows 7 and the beta of Firefox (I got the version 3.6 of the same issue).

So, to make it clear, I made a video for it. > > Click me < <

As you can see, sound is good, but I can't see the videos on the site, but if I pop out, it works! (Mode full screen does not work too)

Can someone explain to me how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you to.

FYI - the Youtube problem is somehow linked to the Youtube PREF cookie.

  • Flash Player download, but cannot see the content.

I tried to install Flash Player for three days. I went through every step of the support that has been listed and I still don't see any content. Started with installation, did not work. then uninstall and reinstall didn't work. Upgrade browser, did not. The settings for Internet Explorer, has failed. Checked the Admin Access, did not work. Search the registry (described in support for adobe), nothing wrong. I also have Norton Internet Utilities and I went in the settings of the firewall and allowed all the active x and flash content, still nothing.

    Please, please, please, help!

SubInACL has worked very well, but you must follow through with all the steps that Darren makes sure that you do not run the fix without going through the conditions. Kudos to Adobe for taking the time to call from CA to PA and solving a problem of Microsoft! If several pages of support companies were like that, there will be many more happy users. Listen to what Darren has to say, he knows what he's talking about. Well well, once again, thanks to Adobe and flash happy design!

  • Flash Player download launch

On http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ when I click on the download and install button the time bar runs for a second or two, as if the download but then returns me to the download page and stops. I imagine he must get into the routine of installation automatically but it doesn't. There are no instructions to suggest that the system is waiting for user input. I use Explorer 6 on Win2K.

Any ideas? I have two applications that I need, but that requires Flash to operate. Help would be very appreciated.

Download the ActiveX Installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exeoffline; This record, and then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.
