I click on the play in the middle of the video image button, it releases the image to the black with a blue circle in motion.  But it moves never happened.   I tried many videos on this site, without success.

I even tried to extinguish Kapersky.

I have > 300 G free on my hard drive, and all drivers are up to date.

I tried to turn off hardware acceleration.

Any suggestions?

Hey, if you don't mind, after return the version number of Kaspersky. Most of the users that I dealt with who had KIS, other than the URL Advisor had no problem with that. The fact that you do not have Add ons/plugins/extenstions of KIS makes it more confusing.

Now one of the AV and I think it's Norton, change the security settings for the Internet Zone. Go to tools, Internet Options and on the Security tab, make sure that it is set to medium.  Then try the video with KIS OFF. Then turn on KIS, try the video and then check your configuration to see if it has been amended.

Send me the version of KIS.

Also before you installed KIS, what anti-virus program you have and have you used a program to uninstall to uninstall completely?

Thank you

  • Adobe Flash Player Version 16.0.0.305 will not install on Firefox 36?

I have updated to Firefox 36 and watched a YouTube video using flash player. The video stopped so I reloaded the page and it stopped again, an alert pops up saying that the I needed to update the flash player. I knew that I had already updated to Version 16.0.0.305 But it said I have version 11. I tried to update to Version 16.0.0.305, but when installed it installs only Version 16.0.0.257 The Adobe site presents the latest issue of the download version, but it's not which is reflected in the list of the Add-ons Manager in Firefox. I'm trying to understand if it is a problem of Firefox or Adobe Flash. Thanks if you have information or present the same problem.

Ah, that explains it!  Please perform a new installation as described in https://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315

  • Once I downloaded the new version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262, I can not play games with my friends on Yahoo Messenger.

It could be a coincidence, but when I upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262 I can not play games with my friends on Yahoo Messenger. I know that when I've updated for a reason that I had to try 3 times before it took. It shows that it is updated. I wonder if I have to uninstall and reinstall. Also, I never use Internet Explorer 8 but when I went there to check I found a plug check link there and it showed over there that Adobe Flash Player necessary update but it was an older version and not a Foxfire had updated me too. Now I'm really confused if it causes a problem. I've never had to control Internet Explorer for plug-ins before. Have always just updated to Foxfire since that's what I use. Adobe Flash Player seems to play videos OK not really sure if this is the issue or not. My Java plug-ins have been very well and have been updated some time there, so I know it's not that. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    Hey again,
After hours of reading and checking to make sure I had good things enabled, I did, I gave up and uninstalled the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, they gave me and re-installed and later I had my friend get on Messenger and we tried games and it worked this time.
For some strange reason when I updated it took me 3 tries before it took. So even if he told me that it has been installed, apparently it wasn't really. Just goes to show you that you can not trust what you see.
What has really scratching my head was I went to Internet Explorer 8, which I never use more and discovered you can now get Mozilla plug in slip out there and when I did showed that same Adobe Flash Player is outdated but it was to a different version. Not knowing if it would help, I installed a new too and he said it was his understanding that it does not. So I guess you can have 1 version installed on the computer 1 despite 2 browsers different different versions. It becomes too complicated for me. Laughing out loud!
I work with computers all the time at work but not the technical stuff. If it's something simple, I can guess through it to help someone but it's my first personal computer for me and is a former first, so I got experience using different types. We use the desk at work as well. Personally, I like computers laptops for various reasons. And the mention of people many browsers go way over my head.
Please answer this question though and you answer back.

  • Adobe Flash Player Installer gets stuck "downloading" and will not move forward

I'm on Mac OSX 10.10.1, using as Safari and Chrome browsers. I've recently upgraded to Yosemite since then, received error messages that I don't have Flash installed. When I download the installer, it gets stuck and will not exceed 30% of "" downloaded. I left for hours, and it's still at 30 when I get back. Is there a permissions issue that I could play with to allow him to continue the installation? Suggestions for what to try to get this installed?

I was able to download the installation program itself, but the problem is after I double-click on "Install Adobe Flash Player." See screenshot below.

  • Flash Player seems to settle down, but will not work

Flash Player installs but does not work.  When I go to the troubleshooting website (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html), the box fills the information.  If I right click where the box should be, however, the menu display version information and behaves as if the AFP is installed.  I cannot select parameters, but can select global settings.  The global settings dialog box opens.

I use version 11.7.700.169, using IE 9 AFP and running Windows 7.  I have 2 other PCs, and both deliver the program very well.  So far, I have tried many things to solve problems with no luck.

    So far:

-Uninstall complete, using the Adobe uninstaller program.  I deleted the folders and content and, close and tried to reinstall.

-J' deleted the registry entry and also tried assigning zero value located at the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\ {D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000}.

-J' use Norton 360 and attempted an install with all services stopped (anti-virus, anti-Spam, protect Auto, etc.)

-J' checked filtering ActiveX is not checked in IE.

-Active X and the options of script in Internet Explorer > tools > Internet Options are enabled and the selections on both PCs in mirror work.

-J' tried to uninstall and reinstall an earlier version of AFP with no luck.

-Shockwave Flash Object Addon is enabled.

Screenshot is included to show what is happening on the screen to redirect after that I installed AFP.

I am running out of ideas and would appreciate any help on this.

    Thank you!

I am a little disappointed by the forums - no responses.  I am happy to share, I found the problem and I share the solution in case others have the same problem.  The interesting thing is the setting that I've changed, it's different on the two computers to work.  In IE9, go to tools > Internet Options > advanced and the first graphics acceleration checkbox... check it out.  Restart IE and voila, it's fixed.  The other two PCs that I use have this box unchecked and AFP works fine... weird.

  • Media Player will not play music files now that he used to play.

I have Windows Vista and my media player has recently decided that it will not play some music files that it used to play. When I try to read, I got the error message saying that the file type is not supported by the player, or that the file was compressed by using a codec that does not support the player. Why has it started to do this, and what can I do about it? He is not doing it with all the music files, only some of them.

    Hello

The ASF Format (Advanced Systems) is the preferred Windows Media file format. With Windows Media Player, if the appropriate codecs are installed on your computer, you can play audio content, video content, or both, that is compressed with a wide variety of codecs and that is stored in an .asf file.

  • After updating flash player youtube 11.4 will not play videos

Videos that won't play, work on other browsers like IE and Chrome so I guess it's a matter of Firefox

I tried to reinstall again and again the flashplayer, I even tried rolling back to 11.3 but youtube still doesn't work in the videos it shows an error message saying "an error happened please try again later".
