Flash showing hot ion IE6

Flash animations do not appear on IE6 web pages when I am connected to Win XP on a non administrator account. I just get the red x placeholder. When I log in as an administrator, everything works fine. Any tips?

For the record, I was able to fix my problem with animations flash not showing when running in my limited account by following these steps:

Run the uninstall program located here:

Run the full installer is here:

My Version of Flash: Flash Pro CC

Once again, if you need/want to use a swf file and have this swf to control the content of a div, you use the externalinterface class (for communicate between as and js) and javascript allows you to change the content of your div.

  • Still need to Flash CS6 sometimes but test movie in Flash shows blank results

I have CC, I am using the latest version of Flash, but sometimes I need to use CS6 and files in 10.3 and more in this edition.

Here's my problem: when I go to CONTROL > TEST MOVIE > TEST (with in Flash Professional checked) or command + enter. I get a blank swf file. This will be the case for all files, new or old, that is published AS3 / 10.3 and more.  If I put the target to Flash Player 9, it shows correctly.

Any ideas? This started when I started using Flash CC 2015.

I fixed it once by trashing my ~/Library/Application \Support/ Configuration files... but that wasn't the only time.

I tried to restart and do it as well. no luck.

    Thank you

Try to do a command-shift-enter instead. Who will use the debug player. There could be security or other issues that are causing something to fail silently. Also, try publishing with swf and html and see if it works in a browser.

Yes, which is not built-in glyphs you want. For a simple example, add MS UI Gothic or (good God) Adobe Heiti Std you know where it will contain glyphs. Try not to pass out when you see how long it takes to export the SWF file or how big it is. You should now see your characters.

I really think you should consider using device fonts. Even just for a test. Define the textfield does NOT integrate and include a device font that you know supports the characters and assign it to the TextField. Your Chinese should appear here (all other languages that the police have glyphs for), without adding to the size of the SWF file.

In flash builder, you have the option of specifying fonts beaches to integrate that you don't have with flash CS5.5. It's not fair, but that's how it is. Your system (usually the value latin/English) code page is read by flash and he decides what you mean by 'includes all the glyphs '. Even when you select include all, it won't. But if you are in China on a Chinese OS, it includes these glyphs as the code page is set differently. Stupid Flash... The only way to break the balance, is to use a known set of Asian fonts. Beware, some fonts include the Chinese but not Korean or Arabic or Japanese, etc. Find a universal policy weighs a TON in the size of the file.

  • Green screen Flash shows during video playback

Today, I installed 10.1 and any time you play a flash on hulu on youtube video all that it shows a green screen, sound works fine. I use firefox and windows 7 x 64, the graphics card is an ATI 4870. If I disable hardware acceleration, it works but the video stutters a bit (don't no wonder), I had the impression that with 10.1 hardware acceleration would work now.

I have installed ATI Catalyst drivers 10.2 version.

OK it's been a year and a half and I understood why I was having problems now, I had to replace my motherboard for independent questions and when I did Flash started working normally, I didn't reinstall windows when I did that it must have been. I think he could have a tension problem through the slot PCI - e I got a few other video issues for the purpose as well.

  • Adobe Flash shows the correct version, but FF 34.0 claims that Flash needs update

Firefox does not seem aware of the version of Adobe Flash, it runs under the Plug-Ins. The current version of Flash is NPAPI 16.0.0.296, and that the version is displayed by 34,0 FF. Yet, FF34.0 flags this condition with an error message "Shockwave Flash is known to be vulnerable and need to be updated"

This error has been reported perhaps a year ago, but I have not find the previous reference, nor its resolution (if any).

In fact, the latest version of Flash 16.0 security update was 16.0.0. 305 since 5 Feb.

You might have missed the most obvious...  Based on the encoding of the page, there should be a file in Flash at the following ADDRESS, but a link to it gives page not found...

    Hello

I have a cat on the Web page made by flash, is there a way to disable windows opeing of flash.

    Thank you.

Your intention may not be clearly presented as the answer to what is asked is somewhat obvious.  If you want to avoid having the windows open in Flash, do provide not all links to it in the Flash file.

  • Flash file does not display using CFHTTP to IE6

    Hello

I have a page that displays a flash movie file, but it will not display the movie via CFHTTP under IE6. I use CF MX 7.02.

If I navigate directly to the page, the flash animation plays (in IE6 and Firefox). If I CFHTTP page using FireFox 2, the flash animation plays. If I CFHTTP does not play the page using IE6, flash animation.

If I dump the scope CFHTTP, it is identical between Firefox and IE6 and no error is reported.

For this I stripped debug code back to:

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you
    Murray

I have now found the reason for the problem.

What I now understand, is that the resolveurl = "yes" setting on the cfhttp tag is changing the classid = "clsid:D27CD... complete parameter of {etc} to include the url so it ends like this:

    ClassID =" http://127.0.0.1:8500/sites/clsid:D27C... {etc.}

and that obviously stops the ActiveX flash player to be found.

If I delete the full url to the value of the classid of the cfhttp.filecontent before displaying the page, everything works fine.

  • I can't get Flash 11.3 to work after trying all the workaround solutions, including the installation of the earlier version.

I'm more frustrated by this Flash show. I use Windows 7 with a 64-bit processor. the computer has two users, the administrator, and myself. When 11.3 updated Flash Player, I noticed that I couldn't use Flash in all cases with Firefox, not only videos. I have disabled the plugin in real time on my account and the administrator account (I have admin access; that is, I have his password so I can make changes on my account when the dialog box appears, or I can connect as long as him and make changes).

I went to the workaround and downloaded the uninstaller and got the archived 11.202 version. I was able to uninstall and install the archived version on my account, but when he signs in to his account, Flash doesn't work. I run Firefox on my account and he runs IE 8 on his account. We both have all of our passwords stored in our respective browsers, so me using IE or him using Firefox until this is sorted out is out of the question. What appears to be happening is when I install the archived 11.202 on my account, it doesn't work for IE 8 on his account but when I sign into the administrator account and uninstall and reinstall the 11.202 it doesn't show up on my account. Right now, we have reverted to 11.3 so that Flash works for him but I not only cannot see videos, I cannot use any instance of Flash on my account. When is Adobe either going to ship a fix that works with Firefox or barring that, how can I get the archived 11.202 installed so that it works on both accounts, with Firefox and IE8?

Thank you very much, this has been useful.

  • Flash player on Firefox Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite?

I tested the Flash Player 15.0 r0 (15.0.0.152) on Firefox (32.0.2) in public beta of Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite)

Subject: addons in Flash shows Flash Player.plugin as comfortable for MIME application/x-shockwave-flash (.swf) and "always active".

Yet as far as I can see, Flash does not start at all.  Is this a known issue?

(Of course, the program installation of Flash Player as the claims support through 10.9 OS.)  You have another month before 10.10 supposed to be delivered.  Photo: we'll be on top of that?)  [It works (for the most part) in Safari and works well on Chrome].

    Hello

I overview 10.10.0_14A36c1 OS X and have installed 15.0.0.152 and Firefox 32.0.2 and am not having a problem displaying the Flash content.

Using Firefox, please navigate to The Flash Player Help.  Click on the button check now yellow.  It should detect the installed version of Flash Player and display in the widget which ensued.  There is also an animation Flash tree at the bottom of the page.  I also tested a few other popular websites that contain Flash content and was able to view the Flash video.

Please provide URLS to content Flash appears as expected.

    Hello.

You can use the VMware v2.0 Compatibility Guide to generate a list.  In the "what you are looking for:" field, choose ' Guest/operating system' and then use the "Virtual hardware" drop to choose "Memory add to warm" or "Hot Add vCPU."

    Good luck!

  • Not pulling not updated on the Server internal Flash

    Hello

Two years, I configured an internal server to distribute Flash updated to Windows endpoints. It works well, until he appears, this month of May.  My end points are so stuck on 13.0.0.214. If something has changed

    Check that I did:

    1. update script on the server always pulls files. Destination folder indicates v14 has been downloaded

Pulling the version.xml from the update server to update internal (via https) confirms this.

    For info:

    < version >

    "" < ActiveX major= "14" " minor="0" buildMajor="0"" buildMinor= "145"/ >

    "' < Plugin major="14"" minor= "0" buildMajor= "0" " buildMinor="145"/ >

    "" < MacPlugin major= "14" " minor="0" buildMajor="0"" buildMinor= "145"/ >

    "< SAUConfig checkFrequency="1"/ >"

    < / version >

2 CNAME 'flashupdate' is always in the DNS system

3 domain wildcard cert is valid and linked to HTTPS such that I get no warning of the cert when you browse the internal update server https://flashupdate.domain.local (IIS 7)

On an endpoint, here is a sample flashinstall.log (could not find the error codes mean!) for about the last 30 minutes. I used FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe to start manually.

So I'm stuck - please help!

    Hello

I'm glad it works for you now.

The Setup log file you posted contains any errors, codes just information that indicates the proper functioning of the background update features.

To clarify one of your points, the internal update server does not communicate with Adobe servers to download the update package.  As an administrator, you or someone else, would need to download the update package (fp_background_update.cab) and send the files (in the structure provided) on your internal server.  It is a process unless automate you it.  Once the files are displayed on your server, it can take up to an hour for updates start to appear on your machines users (of course, depending on how your environment is configured, you can to clear the cache of your server so that the new files to download).

  • Impossible to uninstall flash player 11.1.102.55

    Hello

We did some testing with the latest version of flash and poses a few problems, I wonder if this happens to other people and if there is a way to solve.

The problem does not occur on a 32-bit system, only a 64-bit system.

    Windows 7 Pro with IE8.

    Install using flash: install_flash_player_11_active_x_64bit.msi

Go to the 'about' page - Flash shows an appropriate version of flash is installed.

Go to uninstall a program and uninstall Flash Player.

    The entry disappears.

Then I go to the 'about' page - Flash still shows flash is installed! (current statement version)

Still have files in the following folders:

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

    > Flash64_11_1_102.ocx

    > FlashInstall.log

    > FlashUtil64_11_1_102_ActiveX.dll

    > FlashUtil64_11_1_102_ActiveX.exe

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

    > Flash11e.ocx

    > FlashInstall.log

    > FlashUtil11e_ActiveX.dll

    > FlashUtil11e_ActiveX.exe

If I run C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil64_11_1_102_ActiveX.exe and click on uninstall, the uninstall is successful.

Anyone know what is happening? Adobe accidentally release a broken product or is it just us?

Any help or info is appreciated.

My, if I start to make the bug on Adobe products reports that I can never return to mental health. I found exactly the problem with the 11.1.102.55 64-bit package that requires him to uninstall ARP while leaving everything behind, including the Add - ons Flah.  The CustomAction in the 64-bit MSI installer that runs if DELETE = 'ALL' is trying to run the FlashUtil64 program that is installed with Flash Player.  Problem is your team of the installer has changed the name of this program at any given time and I forgot to change the CustomAction to run the new program name.  Don't have no test actually uninstall it until Adobe released this version?  I will be fixing my installation with a couple of simple transformations to set the CA.  Happy Thanksgiving to the Installer (uninstaller?) at Adobe team.
