Flex 4.5 - How to validate RadioGroup?

I have a form that I run validation on. I use a String validator to validate a TextField and RadioGroup.

For some reason, the FormItem to option buttons does not appear the red error indicator.

Does anyone know how to activate it?

I found a solution! I ended up putting my radio buttons inside a HGroup and I put the HGroup as a listener for the validator. See the screenshot below. I appreciate really help Amy!

I added the code below, if anyone needs it for reference. I also threw in a DropDownList validator.

    In your case, I would just try to install the operating system preinstalled by Toshiba yet once on your laptop using the Toshiba Recovery disk or the Toshiba HDD recovery option.

    Developed using some of the Javascript predefined functions that we offer, it's just JavaScript and jQuery.

    But here is an example.

    However, not the user registration or workflow specification. If you were to do this, you must remove record them and workflow buttons and links, and this probably isn't the best practice. On the contrary, you would write validation server that would give you this error message if they try to save/workflow. (So most customers do not use Extensions of the user interface for this type of validation).

    This will place your SQL in a place that teaches better, but I don't think that it will validate it no more. In my opinion, it makes your code more difficult to read. Someone coming along behind you must open several pieces of code to see what your program does.

    The more I watch your program, you want probably to validate and protect the SQL code that is in & sqltext, rather than the SQLExec. If you want it to be dynamic, I don't see what you can do.

    You could possibly launch an other App Engine as another process. You can use the object API ProcessRequest to plan the program through the process scheduler. You must pass your dynamic SQL code to the other program through a sort of serial control. In this way each SQL would go as a separate instance in process monitor and would go to success or no success individually. I still think it's too complicated.

    I hope these thoughts help. It looks like a difficult task.

    The statement generates error if row.getAttribute("ApplicationName") returns null as he tries to toString() to null.
    So it correctly handles to null values.

    It should work... If you are still having problem... very unlikely... in this scenario, you use only
    Object p_appl_name = row.getAttribute ("ApplicationName");

    If you use over construction of the object then you will need to convert the objects to strings if you view them, but the comparison they work always as is.

    Hi all

    I am using oracle 10 G on windows forms.

    I need help on how to validate that a single checkbox is checked in the retail block. I have multiple records in the block of detail and I have checkboxes for each record in the detail block.

    I have a button to select values in the detail records where the check box is checked. But I want to make sure that only one record is not more than one check.

    How to validate this on a shutter release button?

    When I did this sort of thing, I create a variable of TYPE number form level and then add or subtract the variable I to check and uncheck the boxes. If the value of the variable is 1, then you know that only check box is selected. If the value is greater than 1, then you know that the user has selected more than one checkbox. You could also add the code to your trigger when-box-changed to test the variable and tell the user to uncheck selected record before selecing a new record.

    Regarding the variable level of form, you can use a GLOBAL package specification, PARAMETER or program unit. I prefer to use the specification of CENTRAL unit package, because this method has a smaller memory footprint. For example, in the node of the unity of the object browser program create the following:

    /* Form variables package spec */
PACKAGE Form_Vars IS
  CheckBox_Cnt     NUMBER := 0;
END;

    Now in your trigger when-box-change...

    BEGIN
   IF ( Form_Vars.CheckBox_Cnt = 0 ) THEN

    I have a doubt, I've created a mxml it has two text boxes, except the button and a combo box that is has two option as a percentage and the amount.

    my needs are I gave here.

    need 1: when I choose option amount that two text boxes does not have to be editable.when I select text tat box two percentage option will be editable.

    need 2: when I select the percentage in combox option and two text boxes are empty, and then click the button Save-> I want to display warning msg

    need 3: when I select the option amount combox and the two boxes are emptu click the button Save-> I don't want any warning messages.

    How to validate it and how to write backup for this function.

    any suggession or extract code is welcome.

    Looks like you are trying to do too much at once. Try to hang the events correctly

    The close event of the comboBox can do something like this

    Dear members,

    I have an OFA Page in which there are two fields i.e., F1 and F2.
    I created two lov ' Lov1 and Lov2. Lov2 is a dependent lov Lov1-based.

    Lov1 attached to F1.
    Lov2 attached to F2.

    When Iam by entering values in the F1 or F2 which do not appear in their respective lov, no error is encountered. IAM able to save these values as well.

    Any one can you please tell me how to validate fields lov, my requirement is whenever I get a wrong value that isn't in the lov, I want to display an error message.

    I tried selecting the value 'Yes' for the property "use for Validation" in lovmappings, and there is still no use. "

    Try the following steps:

    What we need to do is the following.

    1. create a formValue field in the form.
    2. in the LOV create a mapping, with return element as the ID of the created formValue field.
    3. also for this map, together 'use for Validation' = yes.

    It works like a charm now and the user cannot enter invalid values.

    In the end, I am installing Windows XP Mode on my machine Win7Pro. But before I do I need to validate my authentic Win7Pro. But before I do I need to run the program fool to validate and generate a code that I can then use in the installation of XP Mode.

    Any thoughts on this page or basically how to make more old XP productivity tools compatible with this operating system much more cumbersome and more recent? I had to use a Mac at work for some time recently and I tell you he's looking for more better than this thing from Microsoft. You guys are trying to catch up with Mac, it seems, at least in Visual GUI stuff. But you don't just knowledge how apparently because your version of operating systems is now much more complex than each front and extremely more difficult to use than Apple products.

    You forgot what made you a lot in the first place - simplicity. However, until I can afford to spend I'm stuck with you guys, so it would be great if I could figure out how to install Windows XP Mode thing.
