  I developed an application with the ODAC 12 R3 beta and EF6 successfully. Everything works fine on my local machine. I deploy using ClickOnce. On the target machine, the installation works fine, but the application throws an exception saying that the data provider is not compatible with EF6.

  The assemblies Oracle.ManagedDataAccess and Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.EntityFramework are both set to copy local = True and specific Version = True.

  Have you checked the deployed to the target computer config file? You must set the reference to system.data/DbProviderFactories - either in the machine.config file or the local configuration file.

  You must request the addition on the author. Thunderbird has no control over software 3rd party development.

  If your old MacBook cannot run at 10.8.5, you will need to either buy a new computer, or you can run Windows using Boot Camp or a virtual machine and synchronize your phone with it. You will need to install Windows 7 or higher. VirtualBox is free and should be able to manage currently running Windows 7 and iTunes well enough to allow you to sync your music with iTunes.

  In the meantime, you can start saving for a new computer. You do not specify which MacBook model, you have, but it must be at least 5 years now.
