Flip page Expoting Indesign to PDF

Hello everyone!

I know that someone can help me with it...

I m doing a Magazine... so I start putting in a Transition Page to all pages...

so I'm trying to export to interactive PDF

I know that when I try to export, to do a one Deutsch...

OK, but my problem is that when I want to see the results in full screen, it doesn´t works..., it shows just a simple PDF not a Page Flip...

What can I do?

Thank you!!

I'm also sure that when you enable Page activate in the options in the Page Transitions it tells you that it is SWF only under the option to select the Page Turn.

Ha ha ha! Finally - I believe this mystery solved!

  • Export a document multi-page of InDesign to PDF single page but with unique filenames using scripts

    Hello

    I use InDesign 5.5.

    My goal is to export an InDesign MultiPage as single page PDF files, but every single PDF must be named uniquely.

    For example;

    InDesignFileName_487275123.00.pdf

    InDesignFileName_734876882.00.pdf

    .. and so on.

    I spent a lot of time searching online and the closest I found is the software called exit factory that works very well.

    Factory works by placing a title of script in a textframe on the master page in InDesign. Then everything that is typed in the text on each of the separate pages block sets the file name of each separate page.

    However if I can solve this problem without any investment cost my boss will be very happy

    I found PEU5 that works very well for export as single pages, now it's name every single PDF, but I don't know anything that would you like to create a script, but I get the gist of what they are doing. I understand that a script could solve the second half of my problem.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you.

  • Flip Page catalog

    I need to transfer the pdfs only 392 bridge to make a page flip catalogue... Help?

    The original question is about a FLIP PAGE document.

    PDF files are not and cannot support visual page-flipping. It is only a function of Flash-based eBooks. There are online services that can convert/combine documents in a Web-based catalog, but the end result is always presented in Flash. Similarly, if you choose the option "page curl" at InDesign export, it creates the contents of the document as a file SWF not a PDF file.

  • Export unique PDF pages to InDesign after the data merge

    So I got this hitch with my last job that I can't move.

    I'm generating nearly 700 labels of bag with the help of the data fusion which is each in their own PDF file with a unique file name.

    My current process is:

    1. Open my file in InDesign.
    2. Data merge all labels like "creating a merged document.
    3. Run a script that does some minor changes and then automatically add bookmarks based on a paragraph style.
    4. Export a single pdf file containing all the labels.

    Now, that's the thing that I meet. Initially, I thought open the PDF in acrobat and then divide the file based on the bookmark names - that works very well. However, I also need convert the text to outlines text, then the fonts don't get replaced by our supplier in China (long story). Ideally, I discovered Acrobat can do it himself, but unfortunately it can not be used for several single paged pdf files in the Action Wizard. If I vectorize the text before you split the pdf file, the bookmark naming convention does not seem to work...

    I thought that this might work, but if there was a script that could export PDFs page of InDesign itself and use the paragraph style name. And then I could put just a pdf preset to underline the text. I can't find anything like those well...

    So there's my pickle. I would be grateful for your suggestions!

    Thanks in advance!

    An any other Acrobat Pro script may be worth a try if you want to split based on. CSV:

    var CSV = function(data) {
        var _data = data.split('\r\n');
        for(var i in _data) {
            if(_data[i].length > 0) {
                console.println(i + ' ' + _data[i]);
                _data[i] = _data[i].split(',');
            }
        }

        var _head = _data.shift();
        return {
            length: function() {
                return _data.length - 1;
            },
            getRow: function(row) {
                return _data[row];
            },
            getRowAndColumn: function(row, col) {
                if(typeof col !== 'string') {
                    return _data[row][col];
                } else {
                    col = col.toLowerCase();
                    for(var i in _head) {
                        if(_head[i].toLowerCase() === col) {
                            return _data[row][i];
                        }
                    }

                }
            }
        };
    };
    this.importDataObject("CSV Data");
    var dataObject = this.getDataObjectContents("CSV Data");
    var csvData = new CSV(util.stringFromStream(dataObject));
    if(this.numPages != csvData.length()) {
        app.alert("Number of pages & CSV row count inconsistent");
    } else {
        for(var i = 0; i < this.numPages; i++) {
            this.extractPages({nStart: i, cPath: csvData.getRowAndColumn(i, 'PartnerHQ_Id') + '.pdf'});
        }
    }

    Note that the column header is supposed to be (this can of course be changed on line 41 of the script code):

    Two invites on 1 page in Indesign that when exporting to adobe reader in pdf format, I can simply add new names that populate both copies and then be printable. Any help out there is how to make an invitation in Indesign, but now how to make 2 copies on a single page that someone else ie the customer can add their own names. So each field name must complete on both guest. Sounds simple, but is not really there to help. I think he called an interactive pdf. Thanks in advance.

    AutoFill is the easiest part, he lies. If both fields have the same name, they will have the same content: type in one and it appears in the other.

  • How to create flip book in InDesign, so it starts with a single page

    Flip book out of InDesign is cool - but I was not able to find a way to create so that it starts with a single page, rather than a spread (with a blank white page in the front of the cover).  Any help appreciated.

    Going CC Forum to InDesign Forum thread.

    Hello

    Currently, there isn't a direct way to the cover of page one page in InDesign. You will need to "fake" it by filling the side left (first page) of the spread, the same color as the background of your web page.

    Petteri_Paananen suggested another solution using eDocContainer. You can find more info here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2279180#2279180#2279180

    Hope this helps and feel free to let us know if you need assistance more

  • Making page turns into a PDF from Indesign?

    I made a brochure in Indesign, I then converted into a flash file in order to get the page loops I then went back into Indesign placed the flash file just create in the Indesign document on a new spread then click on create an interactive pdf, however the pdf file does not pick up the information from the flash file it just prints the page blank Indesign with the image of the flash file. Can anyone help?

    A page curl swf will work in a PDF document, but instead of placing the swf file in Indesign and exporting to PDF, you will need to do this in Acrobat, using the Flash Multimedia tool and insert the swf file.

  • Export from InDesign to PDF and the PDF file last updated is greater than one month and not easily print on letter paper is PDF presets?

    Hello

    I export from InDesign to PDF page is larger in the PDF file, and others I exported. This is because of the present PDF? One of the project managers is not able to print on 8.5 "x 11", but the InDesign document presets are the same as before. I wish I could download PDFs to show, but the newly exported PDF is greater than the version I created a month ago. I created a PDF file and the newly updated PDF file is almost un.5 inch wider with the export presets even. Any thoughts?

    I suspect the project manager has his copy of Reader/Acrobat simply set to print full size, rather than "Worthy" (assuming that the size of InDesign pages is truly 8.5 x 11).

    .. the newly updated PDF file is almost un.5 inch wider with the same export presets.

    This has nothing to do with export presets. How did determine you this difference of half inch?

  • Strangely, image with a transparent background in Photoshop and InDesign exports PDF format...

    Hey, I really hope you can help!

    OK, I did a catalog in InDesign and there say, an orange border. I imported an image to the layer on the orange border and it has a clear background. In photoshop, it has no background and is simply the black outline. However, when I export the Indesign to PDF and print it out, logo is there with his black side, but is inside a non-described and the background is kind of transparent, orange poster, she displays a weird shade of orange and it stands... Ive had with a few more pictures, don't know what im doing wrong when I save the image in photoshop or when you export or what! I am self-taught, (with the help of this forum and youtube) so bad really appreciate any help. I might post a picture but on the screen, everything seems correct, its seen that when I print the catalog, it is really strange! It is not just my printer-think of that - ive tried on three different places and with different pdf files to see if it was just a picture. Unfortunately, this is a good 220 on a 108-page document!

    If you want to discuss rather than poster, you can Skype me as charmywoo

    im just grateful for any help!

    Kind regards

  • InDesign to PDF issues

    Hello

    I have created a book of 310 pages using Indesign CS5. Now that the book is finished, I need to export it to PDF format for printing. I worked on it for about a week and I tried to export the book at least 20 times, and only once did a job (when it worked, I noticed a few errors so I had to fix them and re-export). I use mac OS 10.6.8. I read a lot of posts about it. I added the txt file so that indesign exports in the foreground "DisableAsyncExports.txt." That helped me to understand the problem of the page. I also downloaded the patch adobe 7.0.3. I Redid the page and it will export if I export to the end of the book on page 220 (the offending page is 228), but when I go on page one, it fails on page 228. I Redid the page three times, but I don't know what's the problem with him. There is no text on the page, only 12 images, 4 are .jpg and the other 8 are .psd (the background has been removed from all the photos). 8 psd files are on the angles. Any suggestion would be greatly apprecited.

    If you have purchased a package now, you must have Acrobat, otherwise, you can buy it or download the trial version to do what you need to do. The current version is Acrobat X and some ot the menu caoomnds have changed, but in version 9, I have, you would go to file > combine > merge files into a single PDF file.

  • Background missing when exporting indesign to PDF

    Sometimes, when I export a file from indesign to PDF, my background does not appear. The background is just a block of solid color or gradient. The background color block is usually the size of the page. I tried to play to see what is the cause for this and sometimes if I reduce the size of the block to say, 1/3 of the page then the color block appears, but then when I do the size of the page that I actually need it to be, the color block does not appear when I export it in pdf format (I tried all the presets different pdf and it's not a difference)?  Anyone know why and how to remedy?

    Thank you!

    Check your Acrobat preferences: Edit > Preferences, then click on accessibility and make sure "Replace Document colors" is NOT checked.

  • Question of exit InDesign CS4 PDF

    Hello

    I have a problem when the pages of the catalogue PDF of CS4 is released. The problem is on the page of masters, I have the usual footer page amendments, web stuff, phone numbers etc., and behind which is simple tinted box which crosses the spread in the foot.

    When PDF files are output left (evens) page the background page footer area appears on all the text footer, but the strange thing is not all the pages are affected. The right pages (sides) are all very well. For example, if a page 10 article p54 - 63 pages 54,56,58 touched but 60,62 are very good.

    The same masters were used in CS3 year last without problem, so I guess there is a problem with PDF output InDesign in CS4.

    It is not a question of layers or objects on the footer etc that all have been verified. I have been using ID since CS2.

    The only work around I could find was to create two distinct areas instead of one.

    This caused a big headache with the print delay only an hour's drive.

    Anyone any ideas? As most of our catalogues share elements which cover the spead.

    Kevin

    I can reproduce this on CS4 (6.0.2.544) and confirm that it behaves differently from CS3. You must file a bug report:

    http://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/mmForm/index.cfm?name=wishform

    At the same time, it's really easy to get around. Simply use a box on each page instead of a single box through the spread

  • Firefox Web pages will not print, pdf comes out blurry but fine with browser Safari for MAC OSX

    Firefox won't print Web pages correctly. The pdf comes out blurry but rather using the Safari browser. Apple store could not understand what is the problem. All plugin and java are up-to-date. Has happened since switching to Mac from the PC.

    Screenshots:

    I found the problem. In very simple terms, it's because I changed the default font to Century Gothic. Change back to the default font of windows, I did a test print to pdf preview and it is not blurry. Now, I'm playing with different fonts to see what will work best. So far I have Arial and Times New Roman both work very well.
