It will record both use comments, but I need it to access some of my files, for example my quickbooks etc...

Is it possible to have a shared folder, or in some way to grant access to certain files and applications?

    A quick correction: you mean in car no driver.  A road is a place of storage for files, a driver is a program that communicates with the hardware (printers, cameras, scanners and the mouse have a drivers for example).

    In any case, to share your car from the desktop to a laptop computer, there are several choices.  This tutorial on this page provides an excellent walkthrough.

    However, an easier method is to use the "Homegroup".  Since the first computer, open your Start menu and type "homegroup" to find the option to create a home group.  Once created, you can do the same from the laptop to join the home group.  Once completed, the two computers will see each other and you will see a new folder 'group' on the left side of your file Explorer that allows you to access shared drives on the other computer.

    The EAR is a good idea, but you put the META-INF/persistence.xml in your ejb module. The EJB is where you do all your (managed container) transactional stuff, so do call in your EJB since the WAR instead of trying to share a persistence between modules unit.

    If you change the name of an account, the name of the associated in C:\Users folder does not change. As far as I know, there is no way to change this.

My computer is a laptop (HP Pavilion dv6700), used as a home computer only by myself, I like to keep the two distinct roles, but am unable to as Vista seems to be considered as one and the same. This scenario has arisen as follows:

    Initially, when I bought the laptop - approx. 18 months back - Windows Vista Home Premium was preinstalled, with the name 'Administrator' as an administrator. To customize the operating system and to use safely, I installed a user 'Renault', as a Standard account user.

    After awhile, I changed the name of the Director of "Renault", for reasons I have can not remember now. This caused Vista to combine folders and files of the two "users" in one, I found difficult to deal with, that I could not operate my laptop as just a Standard user, but is still considered the "administrator." On the one hand, this greatly increased spam in my email accounts. So I tried to reset the name of the administrator as 'Administrator' itself and keep my user name as "Renault", as originally the case.  But Vista me has failed to create a new user under the name "Administrator". So I created a new user under the name "System administrator", with administrative privileges. This has been accepted by Vista.

    But I forgot to change the user account for 'Renault', on the Standard account, so there was BOTH administrator accounts at the same time on my laptop! I realized that now only. The net result was that all the files that I created under the system administrator user were still being displayed under the user account of Renault. A few days back, I realized this and tried to separate the files correctly, but it has not been possible. No matter what I copied the account of the user in the files under the system administrator account, the files have been copied on account of the user himself.

    I tried to fix this by changing the name of the user account in something very different, AND as a Standard user. but this also does not work, as all folders and files under the administrator account system shows it as being under the user account of "Renault" only!

    Then, I deleted the user 'Renault' from the list of the user, but he was not yet of any help. Whenever I tried to create a new file under the system administrator, Vista responds with the message, "C:\user\Rajaram folder is not present. Will I create a new? ", which defeat the same purpose of my tent to isolate the administrator account and the user account.

    Better to delete the user account except the one that was built in the administrator account that you renamed. Before this backup all your data files of these user accounts.
    Then rename the buil into account administrator as 'administrator '. Then you create another administrator account and use it and never the user built in Administrator account and leave it alone.

    I tried this before using a laptop to share internet with my 360.  problem is there was Nat on the router, and it is in contradiction with the ics.

    Anyway long story short I did some research on the Internet and discovered that if you're behind a router ICS will be confllict with her, as ICS also does routing. a much better option is to "bridge the conections ' on the laptop.

    Sorry, I left an important step.  You must also configure the host's Ethernet card to use a manual IP address in the same subnet assigned to the Virtual Machine and the sensor.

    1. connect sensor card via USB and set the IP address and subnet mask, disconnect USB.

    Sensor onboard IP address of the Ethernet card: 192.168.3.3, subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

    In this example, the sensor Council will be addressable by the host or the guest to 192.168.3.3.

    BTW I just tested it using my Thunderbolt Display Ethernet with a normal cable (straight not crossed) RJ45 connected directly to a device addressable IP, VMware Fusion and a virtual Windows machine.  Although the same works with an Ubuntu VM as I have in the past also.

    This should work without any problem but make sure that the firewall or other security software on the host and guest are not blocking communications!

You don't want to use the residential group unless you have all Windows 7 machines. If you do and you want to use the homegroup, see Windows 7 Help & Support. Otherwise, in sharing advanced:

    Discovery of plug in the network
    Open the files and printers sharing
    Turn on the sharing section Public folder sharing
    Plug the password protected sharing

    A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, running on Windows 7 sharing files and printer as above will take care of this for you. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus/security with its own firewall component program, then you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range. E.g. would be 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.254. Obviously you would substitute your correct subnet. Refer to the safety of any third party program or the user forums for how to correctly configure its firewall. Do not run more than one firewall. DON'T STOP FIREWALLS; CONFIGURE THEM CORRECTLY.

    (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

    C. create the counterpart of the user accounts and passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this:

    D. Si one or more of the computers on your network are XP Pro or Media Center, turn off Simple file sharing (Folder Options > view tab).

    E. create share as you wish. In Windows 7 I usually share the Desktop of the user and the Public directory. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
