fonts appear of different size on each page

Hello

I have problems with font sizes that appear different on each page.

I use Ralway 14pt times (via typekit) as a subheader, but it seems smaller or more on different pages.

In addition, my menu and a couple of small items in the header appear to spend a couple of pixels on the different pages.

can someone please help?

Hello

The horizontal shift can be explained by the fact that the menu is centered on the page, while the width of the page changes slightly in all pages that is based on the question of whether or not scroll bars appear (which in turn depends on the amount of content). To always display the scroll bars, use the option always file > Site Properties > Layout > browser Scrollbars.

  • A different background on each page image?

    I know it's pretty easy to do, but I am so out of practice with Dreamweaver I can't change the background image on different pages. I had a moment difficult get the pages to scale upwards or downwards according to the size of browser window a few months ago, and now it works fine. The background image is referenced in the body tag, which applies to these two pages. I tried to remove it and wrap it all in a container with the new image but then the page will not resize if necessary.

    It is probably the most simple (stupid) question you'll see all day.

    ShredSkins.com

    If by "referenced in the body tag" you mean it's an inline style, set this style in an external style sheet rule. Then, on each page which is to have a different background image, add a little style sheet at the head of the page (below the link to the external style sheet) which is like that -

    The style rule incorporated will replace externally (only if the embedded style sheet is the external link below) and you will have a new image of BG on this page.

  • Comic - Strip required double size on each page

    I have a pdf of a 26-page comic.  Each page is about 900 pixels wide.  I need to change the document so that each page is more than 1800 pixels wide (and proportional to the length changes too).  I can't understand how to do this.

    Let me clarify by saying that I mean the images on each page.  Images (each one a page of comics) are about 900 px wide now and I need to increase it to 1800 px in width with changes in proportion to the length.  The seller, I work with only accepts art if it is minimum 1800 px on the smaller side.

    Please notify.  Thank you!

    The first thing that I wonder if you have a way to get the original for the comic files. You can resize those and convert them to PDF. If the work was on paper, you can rescan them to the appropriate pixel size. But if not, here's the next step. I don't like especially if you use the screen tones, but here goes.

    Migration in Photoshop increases the pixel dimensions, but the PS has to "guess" the detail. This may seem a bit blurry, but you can try.

    Use Adobe Acrobat to extract all pages in .tiff files, and then batch resize in Photoshop to your specified pixel size, then combine them into a pdf file. You have access to Acrobat? You can download a free 30 day trial for this work.

    You can also talk to your printer on how best to do this. They might be able to suggest something.

  • InD. CS4, I have different layers for each page of a book?

    A multipage book that I make will have an image on each page, with a small amount of text here and there (no intermediary is necessary).

    I have two environments in mind; one black solid, the other, say, an image of textured paper. I don't know what I prefer, so I put them on separate layers on the first broadcast.

    I then locked all layers, saved the first spread and then selected the second spread, expecting to find a new set of blank layers in which I could insert other background effects. No luck; the layers of the first broadcast persist, by controlling that spread.

    I checked book InD Sandee Cohen CS4 but can find no reference to the layers within Pages. (There is a note on the import of a Ps image in layers with its layers intact, but what I want is to put two different files of the Ps as layers on the same page, with the option to turn them on or off. I suspect that's not feasible. But is it?

    It is not and each time (yesterday actually), I thought how clever, it would be to use layers in this way, I killed time. The layers are wide document. You're choice is to create a pdf file with layers enabled for guests, but I realized that they do not understand how mainipulate layers in Acrobat, and I couldn't make a tutorial of a hundred Word less.

    I guess only using variables, which changes its value is a good idea. Each tip will help you. Thank you

    Hello

    You can use variables of variables substitution in commands TTITLE and subtitles.  Do not use names a & before the variable and surround not in quotes.

    You can use the COLUMN... New_value and COLUMN... OLD_VALUE commands to automatically set variables substitution of values for each page of your request.  New_value Gets the first value in the page, and OLD_VALUE Gets the last value.

    Because I don't have a copy of your table, I used scott.dept to illustrate:

    SET PAGESIZE 20

    COLUMN deptno OLD_VALUE o_deptno

    Dname OLD_VALUE o_dname COLUMNS

    WE BREAK dname SKIP PAGE

    TTITLE CENTER ' * PACKING LIST *' JUMP 2

    The subtitles left 'Department 'o_deptno' is' o_dname JUMP 4.

    LEFT '________________       _______________________              ____________________'   SKIP 1 -

    LEFT 'sign name date' JUMP 4

    SELECT deptno, dname

  • How to set different margins for each page/post into Pages?

    Through research, it seems that I should create a separate section or section for the game break, I want a different margin. I did, but when I go to the "section 2" and change the margins, it continues to evolve to the entire document.

    Margins are wide document.

    You didn't say what version of Pages that you use (which would be really useful).

    5 pages doesn't have a facing Pages so you can't vary the left and right pages because there is none.

    Pages ' 09, you can and also allow inset from the margin of the computerized document layout breaks .

  • How to print several photos of different sizes on one page

    Title says it all.  Is it possible to do this?

    You will need to pay attention to the size.  Not all printers can print without margins in this case you should make the canvas size the size of the print area, so you will get not the document is larger then papers messages when printing...  Also Ctrl + C copies only the current target layer if the image that you open is a laminate Tiff or PSD. So copy merge might be better Shift + Ctrl + C. You will also need to pass to the other document before you'd stick it Ctrl + V

    Keep in mind what I've written about the mistakes of rounding, but here's the idea:

    function removePageFrames(page){  var tFrames = page.textFrames;    for (var n = tFrames.length-1; n >= 0 ; n--){              var gb = tFrames[n].geometricBounds;    var w = gb[3]-gb[1];            var h = gb[2]-gb[0];                 if (h == 20  && w == 20 ){      tFrames[n].remove();    }  }}for(var i=0;iremovePageFrames(doc.pages[i]);}

  • How to display the watermark to each page number?

    Hello.

    app.documents.item(0).watermarkPreferences.watermarkText = "page";
    app.documents.item(0).watermarkPreferences.watermarkVisibility = true;

    These are all same watermark settings.

    It is impossible to set a nonzero value of the element.

    I want to display the watermark to each page number.

    If there is no way, I want to create this similar feature.

    Any ideas?

    And please tell me if the function already exists.

    Thank you.

    I think I know what you want.

    You need a different watermark to each page of a document.

    Which seems not be possible since watermarkPreference is not a preference of page but a preference document.

    If you need this for the PDF export for example, you can export single pages in single PDF files and change the watermarkText according to the name of the page you are currently exporting.

    After the export of all pages you could assemble in Acrobat Pro. Or place them in InDesign page-by-page and export again to a multipage PDF document.

    var doc = app.documents[0];
    var pages = doc.pages.everyItem().getElements();

    // You can also assign a preset by its name
    // For simplicity here the second preset listed in assigned:
    var pdfExportPreset = app.pdfExportPresets[1];

    // Loop through all the pages:

    Hope, that helps.

  • Background image different (div) on every page of the site complicated by model

    Hope I can explain this: here are the details

    -With the help of Dreamweaver cs5.5

    -Make a model pages.

    -Each page will have a different background image; but the image is contained in a div tag (name of the div is .mainbackground) happening behind the main core of the site, the image is not in the < body >
    -The .mainbackground div is EDITABLE
    -J' already have a css specific class to assign to this div on each page, so that the image is different on each page.
    -On the template page, the .mainbackground div has no class assigned image (so no background image)

    -Because this div is editable I can then go into each page and set it to the desired - image class works very well.  Except that... and this is my main question:

    -In the code, all other regions are listed IN THIS above mentioned div of .mainbackground SO that means that:

    -If I need to update the structure of the pages I have to remove the editable area that controls the background image that would be - remove editable .mainbackround area.  Then go back to my template, make changes and save everything - so any changes will carry through to my other pages.  It's good and bad, because I'd get all the structural changes, but I also let go of all the text specific to these pages.

    - Then when I'm finished I have to go back and first add a combo box to the .mainbackground class and then reapply the background to the .mainbackground classes to fix the images on the pages again...

    The site is very small so I can deal with it, but I'm going about this all wrong?

    Is there a template feature that I don't get?  I would like to continue using the template feature, and I don't want a different photo on each page...

    I've attached a picture showing a page that you can see the background image - which will be different on each page.screen shot for adobe forum.JPG

    So the next solution does not change the CSS if necessary? :

  • Change the image of the body on each page with CSS

    Hello

    I need to have a different background image for each page of this site (body)

    (1) I have a model now

    (2) I have a css file currently (Hardcover)

    I did a lot of research on how better do this including;

    (a) using the different body for each page ID.

    (b) using another rule of css for the body (inserted in th file AFTER the main related ccs leader)

    Because I'm using templates I don't see an easy way to do it (the header is largely locked) and have little control over the position of b) and identical to one) as the body, tag is also blocked. I have also considered the 'specify editable tag attributes in a template', but could not get this to work.

    There is something simple to do here, but I can't.

    Any sample / advice would be appreciated.

    Rick

    The easiest way is to have a CSS on every page like this:

    There is no other way to make everything simpler.
