• Force a line break in the text of button?

  I'm sure I asked this before a few months ago, but what worked then is not working now.

  Dreamweaver CS 6: I have a menu bar button that contains text that needs two lines. The default line break is awkward. I want to break the line a word before where the default it breaks.

  Now, a few months ago, with a taskbar button previous menus that have had the same problem, I was told to enter the control + return in the window code and divide the text exactly where I wanted. (Note: I'm on a Mac, I don't speak a command.) I mean the control key.)

  What to do with this button and it forces a line break where I want in the code window, but the design window is not follow suit.

  So. How can I force a line break in the text of the button in design mode? I'm sure it's something simple. But what I thought I knew have apparently isn't what I want.

  Have you tried Shift + Enter?

  It works in Windows, so it might work on mac as well.

  I bought Dreamweaver CS4 after attending an intro class at the College where we used an earlier version (macromedia 8). My main problem is that when I add images/text inside an AP element it automatically gives a space of one line which was not on the old version and also looks like this on preview. However, if I change the text to no jumps back up to where it should be, so im assuming its something in preferences. Please see attached for example image.

  I would be recognizing all the advice, as it is something I want to fix before you begin any project.

  It has nothing to do with being in an AP element. By default, all browsers add margins for most items on level block, such as titles and paragraphs. The difference between CS4 and Dreamweaver 8 is that design in the new version gives you an idea much more clear of what the page will look like in a browser.

  You use CSS to adjust the margins on the titles and paragraphs. For example:

  h1, h2, h3 {
    margin-top: 0.25em;
    margin-bottom: 0.25em;
  }
  p {
    margin-top: 0;
    margin-bottom: 0.4em;
  }
  

  These style rules will reduce the gap between the title and paragraphs.

  I am trying to create checkbox with a personal message for my iExpense page. The comment to go here is long enough and puts in place a horizontal scroll bar that damages the look and feel. I tried to adjust without wrap to FALSE, but which is overridden somehow. Can someone suggest how I can introduce a line break in the Guest section... I tried html breaks etc obviously, but they are coming as the exact line breaks not as characters.

  I have a page with a repeat region, which displays the records in Table1. Table1 is related to the Table2 (one to several, MS Access). I want to do is show the number of records in Table2 that are associated with a given row from Table1 shown in the repeat region.
  
  Think of how many responses listed next to each message in this forum, because that's basically what I do. As it is now, I get the correct number of records for the first line of Table1 shown in the repeat region, but this number is indicated in each line. In other words, if the first record displayed from Table1 has 3 matching records in table 2, 3 number in each row in the repeat region.

  If you want to use the Enter key, simply hold down the SHIFT key and the Smiley key become the Enter key.

  I have the design of textbooks and convert to ePub recomposable, broke up. These ePub files get formatted then can be used interchangeably on the printed text. A book that I am currently in conversion is a literature book where there are lines of text with the overall line numbers so that teachers can quickly refer to a specific section of the text.

  All the line breaks in the ID file are defined just by the edge of the text box. So the text box change sizes, all line breaks would also change. Isn't a problem until you need to keep these online breeze in recomposable text and add up the numbers in.

  
  What I'm looking for is a way to insert automatically the line breaks in these LONG sections of text in the right places. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do that?

  If you run Yosemite and ftp of Dreamweaver is ruin your line breaks, then use Fetch until Adobe can fix their problem.

  Your original question was about an XML attribute , but him more later for example does not use an attribute and a child element (). Attributes of the element XML and XML elements are two different things. If the XML schema for the underlying document defines the attributes, you cannot specify the required values as child elements.

• Problems with the repeatable region in table

  Hello!

  I am using a table to display data from a MySQL database. I have two lines put in place. The first is a header row and the second contains the bindings for the info from database. When I select < tr > on the second line and add the reproducible region, it always includes the whole picture, so seen live, the header appears before every single line of text. If I try to select each block and add the reproducible region, it shoots just information horizontally rather than vertically. Any ideas on that?

  You had to do a little research on Google for this one! I don't know why he always chose the entire table, no matter what I choose, but at least here is a way to manually code around it.

• In MXML, how can insert you a line break in the label of a mx:Button?

  In other MXML components, you can do things like use curly braces to incorporate scripts, use '& #13' and stuff like that in their text and label attributes.  Apparently the mx label attributes: Buttons are so locked that normal suggestions for other components do not work.  I might try just setting the labels in the main script of an MXML file or something, but it's a sloppy programming if it can be avoided (values of labels will be constant in this case).  Is there a way to put a line break in the attribute in MXML?

  Regarding the use "& #13", which gave me a line break at least, but any text to the right of this sequence has disappeared.  This makes me think that there may be a way to make this work, but so far I have not found the way.

  Hey all. I just started using the repeat regions and am stuck creating a substitution effect. I have a database of products/images and am showing images of an inch in the repeat region by using < img src = "images/thumbs / <?" PHP echo $row_Recordset1 ['productId'];? ' > .png ' and everything works fine. What users flipping the thumb, I want a DIV containing a border orange to fade using jQuery so I can't record a second image with a border for each thumbnail. Normally with static images I would say something like... $("#thumbWrap").hover (function () {$("#border").fadeIn etc, but I have no idea how to implement this kind the DIV border fades independently for each inch in the repeat region.}) Can anyone suggest the best way to achieve this?   The jQuery code you have posted here is based on ID selectors, but an ID can be used only once on a page. Use classes instead. Something like this might work:

• Adding images to the repeat region

  Hey guys, I recently started using the features of dreamweaver PHP with MySQL and I have my display of table data in a repeat region. I downloaded images to the database, but if I drag 'image' of the Recordset into the repeat region I just get a lot of binary. I read I should maybe use image URL rather than the traction of the database of images, but I don't understand how to get the images in sequence. How do I know what order to display if they are not in the recordset in PHP?  I wonder if I missed some feature of DW, as I suppose it is quite a common thing to want images in a repeat region. Any advice would be great. Thank you

  The images are stored in the file system. The path to the image is stored in the database. The fields in the recordset with the path of the image - in order to generate the html code that displays the image in the Recordset loop.

• getElementById() JavaScript does not work with the repeat regions

  I have tries an onmouseover and onmouseout to exchange all divs that recur in a repeating region of php and javascript doesn't seem to work for the first rehearsal of div. Is it because the repeat region creates a lot of identical divs and javascript code is confused?

  The following is a very simple version of my code setup which explains my problem:

  I create a forum where the individual comments are included in their own div ("commentDisplay"). To do this, I created a div and create a repeating region around it so that php will debit all the comments of each of them to give a copy of this div.

  the problem is that the code seems to work for the first rehearsal of the div and not the rest. In addition, when I move my mouse over the other div it causes the first div share.

  Why is this? Is it because all the Extensible divs (through the repeating region) all have the same name and confuse the javascript?
