There are ways to reset the password to a blank password. I don't think that Toshiba would allow us to post tools like this on the forum, so having a search in google.

Another solution would be to fix the HARD drive on another PC using a USB adapter, copy your documents and other important files, then put the HARD return drive to perform the recovery and then copy backup your files/documents.

If you forgot Windows login password, then you can login as administrator to assign a new password to your account, or you must have previously created a password reset disk of the computer.

I forgot the password of login window to windows xp professional

I have a laptop Dell Latitude C600. I bought a friend a few months ago. It was ranked until recently. The laptop has Microsoft Windows xp professional. My friends name is always the name of user and I forgot the password. It won't let me turn everything except the laptop on and outside. Is there someone who can give tell me how I can do something that will allow me to do SOMETHING? Please, I beg you.

I forgot my password to my admin account, but I can access by logging in through my fingerprints. However, I would like to know if there is a way to reset it or remove it completely. I read in another post to run a command at the command prompt (net user * name *) but it has not brought a screen to type the password as he said... Is there another way?

Reset the Microsoft connected account password

HP recommends using a Microsoft account connected (MSA) to log Windows. With a Microsoft connected account, you log in to Windows using your email address and the password can be reset using a different device at any time. You don't need a Hotmail e-mail address or Microsoft to put in place a connected account. Any email address works.

To reset your password for an INT account follow these steps:

Open an Internet browser and go to the Microsoft Web page to reset your password : https://account.live.com/password/reset.
Select I forgot my password, and then click reset password.
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.

When the password is reset, you will be able to use your Microsoft account with the new password to connect to Windows 10 and Windows 8. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet until you try to connect.

If you use a local user account HP cannot retrieve or reset your password if it is lost or forgotten.

HP strongly recommends to create a password reset disk to allow you to reset your password in case it is forgotten. If you don't have a password reset disk and can't remember your password, you will be directed by HP support to restore full original factory conditions and will lose all the data that was not backed up to an external location.

To perform these steps, you'll need removable media (a USB flash drive).

Insert your removable media.
Open accounts by clicking theStart button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, and then clicking user accounts.
In the left pane, clickcreate a password reset disk, and then follow the instructions. Make sure that you store the disk to reset password in place safe.

Reset your password using the password reset disk

If you enter the wrong password when you attempt to log on, Windows displays a message that the password is incorrect.

Click OK to close the message.
Click reset password, and then insert your password reset disk or USB key.
Follow the steps in the password reset Wizard to create a new password.
Login with the new password. If you forget your password again, you can use the same password reset disk. You don't need to make a new.
