    Hello

    Q1: Can we have 2 different products Middleware (SOA Suite and forms & States) both executed in the same Weblogic domain?

    It is not supported because as SOA and forms & States share a common directory called oracle_common that would be

    crushed by the product. This is why we ask you to use two different homes of Middleware for installation and configuration.

    Ex: If you have installed SOA in a field and you have installed forms & reports and then the oracle_common could be crushed by

    Binary forms & reports and so there might be problem with SOA.

    Q2: how about you 2 different (one for SOA Suite) areas and the other for forms & reports on the same machine (Box) on the same installation of Weblogic?

    You can have 2 different domains but not in the same weblogic Installation according to the explanation above.

  • How to do a partial update of a form and a report on the same page?

    Hi all

    Im trying to make a page where you have a report on the top, and when you click on the link instead go to the form page, the form on the page is on the bottom of the report. Let's say that im trying to send an id from the report to the item below so that I could go get the rest of the element. However when I pass, other elements would still refer to it as null.

    If I am not wrong it could be done with the quote, but I want it to be partial refresh...

    I tried the steps detailed here, but it didn't work when the lower part is an also a report:

    https://forums.Oracle.com/thread/2345863

    I also tried, but this actually submits a page...

    Base Oracle: Tutorial Apex - form & amp; Report shares the same page

    would it not possible to get a form and a report in a partial refresh page?

    Hello

    Do you mean something like this:

    http://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/Apex/f?p=vincentdeelen:26:26

    If so, you must create a dynamic action with a javascript action to set the id of the report line in the form of code field and further action from pl/sql to retrieve the record based on the identification number. You can use this record to set the shape of other items in the field.

    For the example in the link above, the code is as follows.

    action of javascript:

    var empno = $(this.triggeringElement).find('td[headers="EMPNO"]').text)

    $s ('P26_EMPNO', empno)

    action of PL/SQL:

    declare

    cursor c_emp is

    Select * from EMP

    where empno =: p26_EMPNO;

    BEGIN

    for r_emp looping c_emp

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('P26_ENAME', r_emp.ename);

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('P26_JOB', r_emp.job);

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('P26_MGR', r_emp.mgr);

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('P26_HIREDATE', to_char (r_emp. HireDate, 'dd-mon-yyyy'));

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('P26_SAL', r_emp. SAL);

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('P26_COMM', r_emp.comm);

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('P26_DEPTNO', r_emp. DEPTNO);

    APEX_UTIL. SET_SESSION_STATE ('P26_ORDNO', r_emp.ordno);

    end loop;

    END;

    Make sure you list the item id in the field "Page of Items to submit" and ALL your form elements in the field "Page of Items of return" as follows:

    http://www.vincentdeelen.com/images/OTN/plsql_action.PNG

    A screenshot of the configuration of dynamic action:

  • How to make a form with report and a form of inclusion in the same page?

    Hey, guys:

    I was wondering if you could have any link or examples to show how to make a form with report and a form of inclusion in the same page, these two forms are related to the same table. Our customer wants that a user can add a new row to the table in a form and see all lines created by this user in a report, the report should provide link change as well. the problem is: whenever I inserted a new line or change a line or delete a line, and submitted and return to this page, all hidden elements lost their values, this report is empty, and some display only items also lost their values. Could someone give me any suggestions?

    Thank you very much!

    Sam

    So, the problem is essentially with page elements lose their session state values when re-loading of the page. How do you define values for the elements of the hidden page? You have default values defined for those? They are based on the database column? What is the "Source" parameter for these items on the page? It is set to "Always, replace any value in session state"? You have any process of 'Empty the Cache', which is reset these values to null element?

    What is your version of the Apex?

    I would recommend that you have installed for example in apex.oracle.com. This would help to better understand the issue.

  • A report on the current record of another report on the same page of filtering

    Hello

    I have a report on the same page and form in an APEX application. The interactive report is used for sorting/filtering etc. and the form is used to present the data for one record at a time, but also to allow updates in the selected fields. This was done using the wizards, little 'edit' is click on the button to change the shape of the selected record.

    I also have (or want to have) a second non-interactive report on the page, which contains some records according to the record of the main report that is currently selected and appearing in the form.

    I tried to make a simple 'SELECT fields WHERE the link field is equal to the main report', but he doesn't always says no data found.

    Basically, I need to be able to have a query for the second report which says "SELECT those fields WHERE the site is equal to the site displayed in the form.

    A click on the button 'Edit' of small pencil/paper on a report, this set some ActiveRow or something like that I can use to filter the second report?

    As you can tell from this post, I'm in my childhood skills database and any literature/advice on how to do this (outside MS ACCESS...) would be appreciated.

    Hello

    What is your version of the Apex?
    You define a column as to be the link.

    Do you mean something like this?
    https://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/Apex/f?p=40323:71
    If you click on the deptno column, it refreshes DEPT report.

  • I can print before and after on the same page?

    Hello world.

    I'm really proud of my editing on a particular image.  I want to print the front and then on the same page, just as I can see the before and after by-side in the mode to develop.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks for your help.

    Yes, but you will need to make a virtual copy by going to the menu:

    Photo > create virtual copy

    Then open the copy 2 in the develop module, and from the history panel, change the setting at the time of importation (usually the bottom of the list) or use the reset button to return to the original camera file.

    You can then select copy 1 & 2 and go to the print module to set up your page with two pictures.

  • Audio and video on the same page.

    Is it OK to have a separate audio and video file on the same page?  Both are on AutoPlay without control, but when I try this audio setup crack to override the video, stopping the video a few seconds later.

    I guess I could try and integrate audio into video but if I had not I was not.

    Any suggestion or help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Ryan.

    You can't play both audio and video at the same time, you will need to merge them.

  • SEARCH AND RESULT IN THE SAME PAGE

    Hello

    Use: mySQL, PHP, DW

    As I have the results on the same page as the search function, the show if recordset is empty properly won't work, because the message "No Records Match your criteria" will appear as soon as you open the page.

    How can I get this message to display only once the user searched?

    Hope that someone can point me to a solution to do this,

    It is a defect in the way the show if recordset is empty server
    behavior, but it is easily remedied.

    > How can I get this message to display only once the user searched?

    The code as that inserted by Dreamweaver looks like this (recordsetName will
    be replaced by any name that you gave your recordset):

    Change it like this:

    $totalRows_recordsetName == 0) {/ / show if recordset empty? >}

    Replace submitButtonName by the name of the submit button in your
    search form. That's all there is to it.

  • Select the line of the classic report to pass the value to another classic report on the same page

    Hello

    First a few details about the environment - I use the image of the last download oracle VM developer days to oracle.com. This includes DB version 12.1.0.2 and version 4.2.5.00.08 Apex. For the question although I don't know the specifics of the versions that are relevant.

    What I want to do an apex page which includes an analytical section at the top, followed by a section of retail slot - a line is selected / highlighted at the top which causes the relevant lines in this summary line is displayed. Its screen basically a master-detail - however the source of these two sets of data is just a query - is not a table.

    The query at the top of the page is something like

    Select * summary

    and the section below is

    Select * from details where id = (the value of the id clicked in the summary above)

    This feels like it should be really easy (and indeed, it is for the tables through the apex of master-detail Wizard) - but I can't understand when the two sets of data are the result of queries.

    I can't seem to make reference to the elements of the page when it comes to a report and I think that I might need to go down a kind of dynamic route of actions and jquery, but I don't get very far very fast. I found some notes that seem similar, but nothing which does exactly what I want. The function APEX_APPLICATION to browse a table also doesn't seem to be possible for the output report that I could see (tags are not there) - what is relevant for the forms?

    I hope that I have explained that quite simply.

    Can anyone help?

    See you soon,.

    You link column can be just a null value in the sql code, if you want. Change the column and head down to the link attributes.

    Text link: "Click me" (source of sql using #MY_COL columns or #)

    Target: URL

    URL: javascript: $s ('P1_ITEM', #ID);

    Then have onChange dynamic action on P1_ITEM which updates the State. Do not forget to present the value of session state (either property right under the sql or pl/sql prior to update action report). The database needs to know the value of browser before running the query.

  • Error update of two reports on the same page! Could you please have a look?

    Hey guys!

    I have the following situation:

    two updated reports on a single page with ID "DATE_REPORT" and "WORK_REPORT".
    two processes of pl/sql on submit after named 'SUBMIT_DATE' and 'SUBMIT_WORK' c...
    two buttons named 'SAVE_DATE' and 'SAVE_WORK '.
    Finally, the process of the insert and update are conditioned to a request = 1 where for the "DATE_REPORT" Expression, it is set to 'SAVE_DATE' and 'WORK_REPORT', it's logically on 'SAVE_WORK '. There is no condition extra button.

    My problem: I press any button, the table is accumulation in the columns of the first report and continues to add lines of the second report.

    For example: "DATE_REPORT" has 11 lines and "WORK_REPORT" has 9 lines. In debug mode, I see that the picture is piling using the 'DATE_REPORT' although 'SAVE_WORK' has been accepted as a demand. The same problem vice versa for the other update.

    Hi Sebastian,.

    what you want to achieve is indicative of the browser not to send the region A fields when you want to commit region B.

    You have several options:

    (1) do not make the region all the (conditions of the region)
    (2) send any content and to ignore the lines of region A in your area of PL/SQL
    (3) the region has to withdraw before submitting the page (for example with jQuery: jQuery("#__).remove())

    But maybe you should start by rethinking your application, do you really want 2 different TabForms on a single page.

    I would like to solve these two first.

    1. my Developer toolbar (which is the name? for the links at the bottom of the page?) are winding up in the i-Frame of order details, rather than at the bottom of the actual page... no way to avoid this?

    Ok. I undid the changes I had made earlier.
    I now put the link in the column of the parent report as
    IR_WRAP_SALE_ID-#WRAP_SALE_ID #.

    and specified that the cache clean for the comprehensive report in page 2.
