  Anyone find out how to use the tag or customize the subject line of e-mail for outgoing system emails? (For example, invoice, quote, workflows, etc.)

• Acrobat Reader DC automatically filling with a subject line when emailing PDF as an attachment?

  I have a group of people who use the e-mail feature (by clicking on the button send in the toolbar) to CD player to attach a PDF file to an e-mail. The e-mail program is Microsoft Outlook, and they have problems with Acrobat Reader DC automatically populate the subject line under the name of the attachment. Because they are such a volume of emailing from within the program, it becomes a chore after remove the subject line all day. I looked throughout the program - in the preferences and all around, in general and could not find a way to disable this option. Older versions of Acrobat Reader don't fill automatically the subject line in Outlook as CD player doesn't.

• How to insert an exponent in a form created in acrobat

  I am designing a form in Adobe Acrobat 9.4.1. One of the fields will be filled in is a name followed by an exponent.

  For example Richard Smith^1, I need to be able to fit an exhibitor in the text field. I tried to cope and pasting from another application as well as

  keyboard commands. I was not able to find a way to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

• How do you create a message rule in outlook express when the subject line contains symbols

  I get emails when the subject line contains square boxes.  I tried to create a message for when rule the subject contains these square boxes, but cannot do so.

  Then, it will not work. Unless the messages are always of the same address, or a domain, so the only option I see is of filter in your mail.

  Start with the only rule of AddressBook and you receive a message that you want people not in your address book (E-mail from companies, bills, your ISP, etc), you can add them to the rule.

  Tools | Message rules | Mail | New.

  Box 1 - Where the From line contains people {check it out}

  Box 2 - Check: delete it & stop processing more rules if you want messages not in the address book to go to deleted items, or you can create a spam folder and direct them here.

  You can choose to delete the server, but be careful because you never have messages downloaded to any folder, if you choose this option.

  Box 3 - Click on the blue words contains people

  Click on the first address to select it. Scroll to the end and hold down the SHIFT key while you click the last address. This will highlight all. Right-click on it and click on from the menu that appears.

  Now, click Options and choose: Message * contains no of * the people below in the top of the page Options area, then choose: Message corresponds to one of the people below in the background Options box.

  OK your way out of the new rule.

  Now, only the addresses that you entered will be uploaded to your Inbox. You won't see other emails.

  Remember, if you add a person to your address book, you must add to the rule. It will not automatically be added.

• Mailbox mail deleted and content on the server

  Mail acted strange on my iMac... When I delete a message, I get a message saying not 'able to accomplish at the mailbox 'null' transfer' but then he goes ahead and deletes.   We accept currently make changes to files on the drive for iPhone and iPad. I know it's in the inconvenience, but for now, you will need to use the Mac or Windows version.

• Form created in Acrobat 8 Pro is not editable in Acrobat Pro XI

  I have created several forms in Acrobat Pro 8, using LiveCycle Designer. I've upgraded to Acrobat XI a few days when I learned it was unstable under Windows 7. I find now I can't edit my existing in Acrobat Pro XI forms because it does not include LiveCycle Designer. This has apparently been moved into a separate product that will cost me another $300. Also, I can't seem to save my existing forms to Word documents to re - import in Acrobat XI, so I can recreate the forms from scratch. I suppose I could print and scan, but which will result in a less readable form.

  This loss of functionality and compatibility between versions is disturbing. According to me, I just paid $200 to get less features than I had before.

  It also appears that the quickest way to create new forms in Acrobat XI is to download on FormsCentral. I am reluctant to download these to a third-party server and the resentment being required to do in order to keep all the features.

  Is this a marketing strategy poorly planned to get people to buy another software (which is not the case in my case), or is there a workaround that I don't see here?

  I am at a loss and have searched through many forums online and can not find a solution that works. I have Acrobat 8 Professional and my employees use Reader X, I can create forms that have fields that users can fill out and save forms to their local disk, fill completely?   I am trying to create a field that automatically auto another field.  I tried to copy and paste the text boxes with the same name and replace the field by its very name, but I had no luck.  I also went to forms in double issue that failed.

  I'm just now using Adobe Acrobat 8; advice would be appreciated.

  This form was created in LiveCycle Designer (XFA form), so the rules that apply to the forms created in Acrobat (Acroforms) do not necessarily apply. What you need to do to get it to behave the way you want is to set the binding of the fields to 'Global' as 'Normal' opposite To do this on the tab link of the palette object for the text field.   I changed the values instead of the gross value of the text field-access, I inserted the values for the email subject and body in the variables in the click event

  The final document is a little drastic... Perhaps simply display an error message? In any case, you can do it like this, as a custom field validation script:

  Be aware that using this code will close the file without saving it, and the user will lose all unsaved data that they have entered.
