Format a number of figures in the two digits

Hello

A typical problem which is the formatting of all the numbers in a number 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 to the 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09.

I read str ( func without finding option right format.)

What is the best way to make this work?

Thank you

Here's a way even simpler:

Locals.String = Str (Locals.number, "%.2i")

  • Number of items in the target to host DMA FIFO

    Hello world

    I would like to transfer a set of datapoints of an FPGA to a RT-host controller using a fifo DMA. If I use the 'Get number of items to write' function on the FPGA target, can I get the total number of items in the two buffers, or just one on the FPGA target?

    (see http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371599H-01/lvfpgaconcepts/fpga_dma_how_it_works/)

    markus_a wrote:

    The FPGA will have no idea how big the DMA is on the side of the host.  He can't see his own DMA buffer.

    Get the number of items to write just tells you how many items are not used by the DMA (ie the number of items that currently write to the DMA without waiting for items to be offered by the host reading).

  • Number shaped with two digits "behind the point" :-)

    Hello

    Please excuse my very bad English because I'm french :-)

    I use the beta JDE v4.7 and the Blackberry Storm Simulator included.

    I would like to know how to format a calculated result as #. # (a floating-point value with two digits "behind the point') to display in a RichTextField instance.

    I tried this:

    """"
    String strSomme;
    String strSommeTTC;
    Double dblSomme;
    Double dblSommeTTC;

    strSomme = saisieField.getText ();

    dblSomme = Double.parseDouble (strSomme);
    dblSommeTTC = dblSomme * 119,6 / 100.0;

    Trainer fmt = new Formatter();

    strSommeTTC = fmt.formatNumber(dblSommeTTC,2);

    RichTextField affichageField = new RichTextField ("sum TTC:" + strSommeTTC, Field.NON_FOCUSABLE);
    Add (affichageField);
    """"

    Only the small portion of code compiles fine but I get an exception when you run the program in the Simulator: javax.microedition.global.UnsupportedLocaleException

    I don't know if the Formatter class is the best way to convert a 45.528652541 to 45.53 number for example.

    Thanks for any help.

    Nice day.

    Marc

    I ended up writing a method to do this...

        final static String toString(double sum)
        {
            // Turn random double into a clean currency format (ie 2 decimal places)
            StringBuffer result;

            if (Math.abs(sum) < .01)
            {
                result = new StringBuffer("0.00");
            }
            else
            {
                if (sum > 0)
                    sum = sum + 0.005;
                else
                    sum = sum - 0.005;
                result = new StringBuffer(Double.toString(sum));
                final int point = result.toString().indexOf('.');
                if (point > 0) // If has a decimal point, may need to clip off after 2 decimal places
                {
                    if (point < (result.length()-2))  // eg "3.1415"
                    {
                        result =  new StringBuffer(result.toString().substring(0,point+3));
                    }
                }
            }
            return result.toString();
        }

    I would like to know if there is a better way!

  • Format of number to two decimal places

    Hi all

    I tried to find a similar question on OTN position but were not very successful. Found [this: http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=4231352 & #4231352], but this isn't the right solution for me.

    I want to convert a number (to two decimal places) to a string, but keep the trailing zeros. The number can be of any length.

    So, for example

    Number String
    1234.5 1234.50
    323213.1 323213.10
    9876.23 9876.23

    Using a mask of format with to_char function does not work for me because the results are recorded in a text using UTL_FILE file and I don't want any white space.

    For example

    Select to_char (1234.40, '9999999.99') of double
    TO_CHAR (1232.70,99999999.99)
    ----------------------------
    1232.70

    As you can see the to_char doesn't work only partially. It keeps the two decimals and add a zero, but it also hads of white space at the front of the number. I could change the format mask to "9999.99', but then if the number is 12345.12 or 123.12 it wouldn't work!

    Thank you!

    Use the format fm modifier:

    Select to_char(1234.40, 'fm9999999.90') from dual;

    TO_CHAR(1234.40,'FM9999999.90')
    -------------------------------
    1234.40

    Here is another way, assuming a definition of the weekend as strictly between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday:

    The interval of D1 to D2 can be considered be allowed between the D1 and the next 00 Monday more time between Monday preceding the D2 and D2 as well as the weeks between the two Monday to 00:00.

    select  id, ts1, ts2,
    ( least(7 + (trunc(CAST(ts1 as DATE), 'IW') - CAST(ts1 as DATE)), 2) /* ts1 to Monday */
    + greatest( (CAST(ts2 as DATE) - trunc(CAST(ts2 as DATE), 'IW')) -5, 0) /* Monday to ts2 */
    + 2/7 * (trunc(CAST(ts2 as DATE), 'IW') - trunc(CAST(ts1 as DATE), 'IW') -7 ) /* Weeks between Mondays */
    ) * 24
    from TDIFF

  • Receive error message when calculating the two fields with different date format

    I'm more familiar with SQL Server and Oracle, then after a search online without success, I ask here.

    I use developer PL/SQL with DB Oracle 11g Release 11.2.0.2.0 Enterprise 64-bit

    MyTable:

    ID_Number VarChar2

    Date of Date_Received

    Select ID_Number,

    Date_Received,

    To_Date (substr (ID_Number, 1.6), "YYMMDD") SentDate,.

    Date_Received - NumDays To_Date (substr (ID_Number, 1.6), "YYMMDD")

    FROM MyTable

    Where substr (ID_Number, 7.3) in ('ABC', 'ABD')

    and length (Trim (translate ((substr (ID_Number, 1,6)), '0123456789',' '))) a null value

    ID_Number Date_Received SentDate NumDays

    131002ABC1654106 10/16/10/2013-2013 14 2

    131004ABD8813899 4/12/2013-4/8/2013 4

    131014ABD1844832 10/16/10/14 OF 2013-2013 2

    Sometimes the first 6 characters in the ID_Number aren't the numbers and length (Trim (translate deletes records))

    I want just the records where NumDays > 2

    I tried to put the request in a subquery and using where NumDays > 2 outside.  I also tried using the calculation directly in the Where clause.  Without it in Where clause it works very well, with him in a place, I get the following error:

    ORA-01931: Date format picture ends before converting all of the input string

    I don't know how to put the two dates in the same format.  I tried to declare the format without result.  I don't understand how I can calculate in the selection, but do not use the same calculation in Where clause.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

    SQL is a language to describe the desired results.  How the system gets these results belongs to you don't have much say about which conditions will be applied when.

    One place where you can control the order of things is a CASE expression.  When you say

    CASE

    WHEN condition_1

    THEN expression_1

    END

    You can be sure that expression_1 will be evaluated only when cond_1 is set to TRUE.

    Try something like this:

    WITH got_sent_date AS

    (

    SELECT id_number, date_received

    CASE

    WHEN the TRANSLATION (SUBSTR (id_number, 1, 6)

    , 'x' 0123456789 '.

    , 'x'

    ) IS NULL

    THEN TO_DATE (SUBSTR (id_number, 1-6)

    , "YYMMDD".

    )

    END AS sent_date

    FROM MyTable

    WHERE (id_number, 7, 3) SUBSTR ("ABC", "ABD")

    )

    SELECT id_number

    date_received

    sent_date

    , date_received - sent_date AS num_days

    OF got_sent_date

    WHERE date_received > sent_date + 2

    ;

    If you would care to post some sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements) and the results desired from this data, I was able to test this.

    Of course, you'll still errors of execution if id_number starts with 6 digits, but they do not have to be valid, for example '131100' or '130229'.  This is one of the reasons why the date information storage in VARCHAR2 columns are a bad idea.  To work around this problem, see

    When you use scientific notation:

    SQL> select to_char(1234, 'tme') from dual;

    TO_CHAR(1234,'TME')
    ------------------------------------------------
    1,234E+03

    I've never had such a requirement in more than 10 years, incidentally, but I can imagine that, at CERN, such a format is used ;)

    The way to do this is to display the pdf as unique pages and then open Acrobat to change the initial display of the document settings. (There are in the file properties). Make the change, close and save the document, and then when reopen you it, you will see as spreads, but the search for the page will follow your InDesign page numbers.
