  You will develop a display driver for Windows 8.1 64 bits for all Toshiba Satellite models? I have a Satellite L300 - 2CR. The paradox is that when I installed the first time Win8, the display driver for Win 7 worked, now on the second format it no longer works.

  As much as I know old machines are not supported for Win8/Win8.1.
  Each new operating system brings also new standards for hardware so new notebooks offer newer hardware and hardware platforms.

  Development costs a lot of money and time. Then do a test and support. I can't imagine that the laptop manufacturers will make for some models of laptops designed for Vista. OS support for the LDP machines is very limited.

  Maybe it sounds silly now but for me there is no sense to use Win8.1 on this old piece of hardware. Win7 32 bit is, in my opinion, best solution for you.

  Also on the web page of Nvidia, there is a small program to find the nvidia whichc on pc product, but when I try to use it says "there is not any products nvidia on this computer"... I also tried Driver genius and driver magician etc... These programs are 2 types of drivers to try 260.99 and 266.58... two em not work...

  I ve checked the specs of the laptop and your laptop is NVIDIA N12M-GE-S 1 GB (DDR3) graphics card. Several models of Toshiba laptops have this card, but none of them are supported for Windows XP Home edition.

  Toshiba doesn't support WXP and display driver for the nvidia card is not available. I fear, you should try to find the driver Googling around m.

  Here, you have to choose:
  Archive-> Satellite Pro-> A-> Satellite Pro A60 Satellite Pro

  Then you could find the display driver and can download and reinstall.

  A hint; several series of laptops are delivered with the same graphic card. In order to check the drivers from another series which was delivered with the same GPU!

  If you don't find anything, I think you have to wait until Toshiba's going XP drivers officially.

  You n t need the exe file.
  You can install the driver through the Device Manager, you must simply point to the folder of the driver you downloaded and Win XP would take the necessary ini and dll files automatically.

  I checked Toshiba driver download page and you have written for Windows 7 64-bit, a driver is available. I n t have A500D before me so that I can t test it, but usually Windows 7 drivers also work on Vista 64 bit, because they are very similar. In your case, I would like to try the 64 bit Windows 7 driver.

  You want to install Windows Vista 64-bit? Why you n t choose the best Windows 7?

  I m wondering that you have installed Windows 7 on this good old classic. In my opinion Windows XP would be the best choice, but ok, you can do what you want ;)

  Anyway, AFAIK your laptop is equipped with an Intel graphics card then I recommend to download the driver form Intel directly because the Web from Toshiba site displays only the Windows XP display drivers.

  I put t know where found this answer, but I agree with it. In my opinion Windows XP seems to be the best choice in old enough Satellite L10.

  In any case, if Intel doesn't provide new drivers Windows 7 for this chipset, it s not a Toshiba error. You can only try the Vista driver because most Vista drivers work on Windows 7.

  You need the driver for Intel HD graphics (without any other numbers; just graphics Intel HD)
