• Contact field to update based on form selections

  Hello

  I have a form preferably of the customer (which I heavily customized it) where a customer can select what they are interested in us with 2 boxes of custom field.  Based on their combination of selections that then, I need to update a contact field "Pavilion".

  for example:

  checked 1 + 2, flag = N

  checked only, indicator 1 = M

  checked the only, indicator 2 = E

  None verified, flag = B

  In the normal universe I would do just that with Javascript onclick, however, because I want to use 'The Population form' that I have to use a landing page not HTML, paste my code using snippets of html code that does not support the onclick or glorious onsubmit or other such functions javascript (this is to the best of my knowledge, based on my experience in the last month If I'm wrong, please put me right!  I'd love to do all this in the pure HTML form and have the 'form Population'!)

  I am appearing only still my way around Eloqua -, is there a way that I can do in the form of processing steps, or feed a program (I really only learned about 2 days ago, so would need a direction here), or update rules (again, would need advice) or something else that I don't even know not exist?

  I guess you can achieve through measures of processing of forms.

  Suppose you have two boxes below (if it is a single checkbox that would make it even easier to reach):

  

  Now in the stages of processing of forms, select 'Update Contacts - With Custom Values' and the name field of the contact that you want to update with the flag. As the next section, select the type of update to "Set to a value" as follows:

• How can we replace Oracle form when you used by another user

  Hi Experts,

  Is it possible to replace Oracle form while in use by another user?

  Some time need deliver urgent fixes on the production environment, but it must wait for downtime, and the form does not use.

  I searched the Forum, but able to get the answer to this topic, I will be grateful if you could provide no alternative to do this.

  For Production environment, it will be handled with tactics that led to minor maintenance work as well.

  You must have two physical directories (real and temporary) including the same fmx/plx/pll/mmx, files etc.

  and a file reference of in the FORMS_PATH in default.env, who have the latest version of the source.

  Copy the last source file into a temporary directory, when the user take the new session, it will access the new version of the source of the temporary path and who obviously last source version.

  Meanwhile, once the actual source published by the user version, you can copy the latest version of the source to the real directory and reset the FORMS_PATH with the actual path.

  In this way, you can solve your problem.

But, when I started treatment in the first form in my first page of browser, the second form on the page of another browser may respond to any user action and failed to refresh the screen. When the treatment is over, other forms, applets can still answer.

  What you describe really has nothing to do with Oracle Forms. This is the result of both java applets (Forms) share the same FMV of the same browser session. This will not happen if you have run a form in each of the two browsers. If you use Forms 10.1.2.3 and the 1.6.0_10 Sun JRE found you can use a new Sun setting that allow each applet having its own JAVA virtual machine session.

  Just add the following parameter to basejpi.htm:

  This will ONLY work with Sun 1.6.0_10 or higher. Because it is NOT part of the Oracle is a JRE feature supported by Sun.

  I'm developing a Web site, which will host the PDF forms which have been designed by Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. On the form, there are three buttons that allow users of (1) one button - print the form and put it in an e-mail two - (2) button to copy to the designated Department (preconfigured e-mail address) (3) button three - register online. A button and two work very well, but I struggle to operate the three button. I may not have sufficient knowledge for this shipment button on a form.

• Interactive form, selecting checkboxes, want only option to click one

  I have an interactive form put in place in Indesign CS6 and have muliple checkboxes, I don't appear when you click the value, however our customers she want so that when it is clicked on it will not let you click on others, so bascially is there are 10 check boxes, only allow you to 1-click.

  Just found a possible solution if someone else gets stuck on this.

  Saved as a PDF interactive using radio buttons, and then opened in Acrobat and in the properties of the radio button, and then under 'options' changed 'style of button' to 'check' and that seemed to work.

  I understand that after the creation of any selection, CTRL-J copy the selection into a new layer, but this isn't what I want to do.

  I want to copy just the selection form (i.e. its contour), not its content, so that I can then apply this form of selection to any other existing layer.

  The goal is to take a selected layer A shape, apply the shape in layer B, remove the box around the selection into a layer B, and end up with a form in the B layer that contains the content of layer B pixels, no layer.

  I have Photoshop version 9, CS2. I tried to study masks, but were not able to find a basic explanation of beginner of masks

  You can store a selection as an Alpha channel and then load it as often as you wish.

  Also you can use layer masks, those who can the duplicated on other layers (and if necessary reversed) easily.

  It doesn't seem wise, an active selection is a property of the file and not a layer.

  If the selection is anti-aliased or soft that risk unnecessary fringes.

  Hi Nick,

  Yes, you can add it as an option in the list select, worthless. If you have already included in the selection list in a form on a Landing Page, you may be able to reinsert to update the options in the list. Let us know if that answers your question.

  I am able to do this in Illustrator, but I try to understand how to do this in InDesign.

  In InDesign - after I created a custom shape (clipping mask) with the pen tool I drop an image inside the shape (CMD + D).
  However, I would like to add other forms or images in this clipping mask and set the blending options. How does this in InDesign?

• Forms - selection drop-down list box makes other fields appear

  I am building a form in InDesign that I export to PDF format with several fields (text, drop-down list, radio, checkboxes). Some fields are defined to trigger the visibility of other fields and that works very well. What I want to do and what I can barely reach, is to have a selection for a combo box, make 3 other visible fields. I'm just a beginner when it comes to buttons in InDesign and the forms of the suggestions would be appreciated.

  If it is easier to achieve in Acrobat I try too.

  I need help with the following situation:

  I have a selection list containing all departments. When the user selects a Department, a tabular presentation appears with a list of selection employees containing on this Department. When adding new employees (new lines), I would like to remove the current employees of the selection list without submitting the page to avoid duplicates.

  Something similar to this: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=18:307, the problem with this example is that the number of lines is predefined and initially shows all values so if I change one, it erases all existing records.

• Presentation PDF form email options

  During the test on my forms to see if the e-mail and submit button should work, I clicked the option from the e-mail form via a Web browser instead of the email through an internal application form. And then I clicked on him never ask again box.

  Hello - when I tested the echosign function I was able to implement a model of form field that I could then apply to a future document so that I didn't have to recreate all the fields if I replaced a page or change the text under.  Now I am an annual subscriber, I don't think this feature.  Any ideas?

  The trial version does not have the ability to create the layer of form field model and if you went to the same enterprise-level plan, then the feature would still be there, but if you upgraded your account to 'Send for Signature', then he has that.

• Filling out forms - no option to add text in the toolbar - what should I do?

  I make a change to a form that was developed by someone else.  Currently, the check boxes are selected manually by the user.  I need to change so that when another field in the form is null, the checkbox is enabled.

  Objects - end_date (text element)

  OPEN_CREDIT (box)

  Have written the following code:

  IF: autsgs5.end_date IS NULL THEN

  ELSIF: autsgs5.end_date IS NOT NULL THEN

  : autsgs5.open_credit: 'n';

  END IF;

  Im not sure that trigger to add this also and at what level, etc.  I tried a lot of different triggers, but nothing seems to work.

  I agree with Michael.  You should know when you want to than the box activated in response to a NULL end_date.  For example, when registration is questioned in shape - I would use the trigger after request.  The record is entered in the block - then use a when-validate-Item.  When the user navigates to a new record - and when-validate-Record.
