• Custom control in the new VeriStand workspace

  Anyone know if it's possible and how to make the custom to the new UI controls? I have a custom device that creates channels 400 + and I would like to find a way to add them to the user interface without having to manually configure each channel individually.

Currently, they have to drag into individual channels labeled 'Enable channels', 'Output Mode' and either 'Discrete Value,' 'PWM Duty Cycle' & 'Frequency PWM', or 'Encoder quarter' & 'encoder Index Control. " Is it possible to create a custom control that contains Boolean controls and digital necessary? I know that this was possible in the old VeriStand workspace, but I have not found a way to do in the new, as there does not appear to use a directory full of screws for its controls.

  Hi Mitch,

  I'm sure that this functionality does not yet exist for the Manager of the user interface, but I guess that NEITHER is likely to know that it is a widely used feature.

  When I asked him about this a few months ago, I think the answer is that it must continue to use the workspace controls customized with the workspace and migrate the rest of your features to the UI handler.   You can use strings for the values of these parameters and default values as you described. Only, I would create channels if you expect to need to change the parameter at run time values by defining it from the workspace or a profile of stimulus.

  If the parameters are static (for a start at least), then I would just set them as a property on one of the nodes in the device customized using the NI VeriStand - Set point property VI. You can create as many named properties. Properties can be any value you choose, such as double, double table, etc., boolean, string. You can set these system explore and they will be saved in the definition of system and available on the target of RT using the NI VeriStand - point Get property VI. You can read them only in the engine, not write down them, but there is usually a lot more low overhead to have properties of programs.

  You should be able to move your file for errors of LabVIEW Veristand (C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\VeriStand 2010\project\errors\English) errors folder. VeriStand should automatically check this folder for a corresponding error code when he meets one. Try this and let me know if it works. Thank you!

  I downloaded a program on my Mac (no app store unfortunately) called "get lyrical". automatically add lyrics to iTunes. Then in iTunes file > library > Update music library to iCloud. doing this during the last 20 minutes and so far it seems to work.

  I think you can get the menu bar by pressing the ALT key. If you want to return permanently, click View > toolbars and check menu bar.
