Fragments of rule in the rules of shortcut

I had a table of shortcut rules that did not work, something in the sense of:

Shortcut rule

the result of the transaction

'Result' - AttributeX = 5
' Result B '-AttributeX = 6
' Result C '-AttributeY is set to true
' Result D '-AttributeZ is set to true

I found the reason why it cannot work because I've had conditions on several attributes within a single table. Thinking that the fragments of the rule may be the answer, I divided the rule 3 fragments (each rule shortened, but still the tables I seem not to be able to set the value of a text attribute otherwise).

rule_property [fragment: 1]
Shortcut rule

the result of the transaction

'Result' - AttributeX = 5
' Result B '-AttributeX = 6

However, regardless of the values of attributes X, Y and Z, the rule always seems to set the result value, any ideas? Is it permissible to use fragments of rule in the rules of shortcut?

Then use your phone to call example, what about a regular rule like that?

+ (conclusion) + the call has ended if
+ (Level 1) + the customer has not responded to the phone or
+ (Level 1) + the customer hung up or
+ (Level 1) + a sale was filed with the customer or
+ (Level 1) + customer details were collected

The conclusion ("the call is ended") will remain unknown until one of the following attributes is set to true:

the customer has not responded to the phone
the customer hung up
a sale has been filed with the customer
customer details were collected

And it could be the case that some of these attributes depend on other things, for example

+ (conclusion) + customer details have been collected if
+ (Level 1) + the customer name is known and
+ (Level 1) + name of the client is known and
+(Level 1) + address e-mail client is known

... where the 'customer name', 'customer name' and 'customer e-mail address' are all text attributes declared in modules.

Have you trained as an OPA? I suggest strongly that do you. Your first post, looks like you're thinking about OPA from the perspective of traditional programming. Modeling of the OPA rule is different. I think you would benefit greatly from taking a rule OPA training course.

    Check the trash.  If you have inadvertently deleted the icons, they should be there, unless you emptied.  If not, just create new shortcuts.

  • PIN to the taskbar, a shortcut to \\server\dir\app.exe

    I have an application that I want to talk through \\server\dir\app.exe, and has default directory \\server\dir

    I make a shortcut to it and save it on the desktop.

    When I right click on this icon, I see no option to "pin to taskbar" or "pin to start menu. When I click on the other icons, I see these options.

    On Windows XP and Vista, I was able to add the shortcut to the quick start bar.

    Is it possible to pin to the taskbar, a shortcut to an application on \\server\dir\app.exe? I wouldn't really define a drive letter.

    You can overcome this problem by mapping the network drive. To implement as effectively as possible, look below.

    Connect a network drive

    -On the client, open Windows Explorer and navigate to the \\server > \directory right-click and select map network drive

    -Select a drive letter > click Finish

    -Click Start > all programs > Accessories > calculator right click > select PIN to the taskbar

    * These next steps are all completed in the taskbar folder

    -Open Windows Explorer and navigate to: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

    Change the location request target

    Locate the pinned program (Calculator) in this folder.

    -Right click on the program > select Properties

    -Under the shortcut tab locate the target > target select the location of the location of the application using the mapped drive letter.

    -Click on apply

    Change the icon

    -Right click on the program > select Properties

    -Select Change icon

    -Select the icon

    -Click OK

    Change of name

  • Pin a network to the start menu shortcut

    Everyone figured out how to pin a netwrok to the start menu shortcut?  I tried to do it the way they say it, right click and select PIN to start menu, but the option is not there for programs on the network.  I was able to find Documents and Settings/User/StartMenu and I dropped the military in there, but they are not yet appearing on the start menu.  Help, please.

    Create a folder on your desktop called networking programs or files, and then drag the icons for the files or programs in there.  You can then create a new toolbar by right-clicking on the taskbar, go to toolbars and add the new toolbar.  From there, all just point to your folder on your desktop and the appropriate files will appear in your taskbar tasks.  It's not pretty, but it works.

    Usually, it is a sign that some third-party utilities entering your keystrokes (Shift key, key Alt/Option, etc.).

    Try restarting. Turn off all your startup apps or hold the SHIFT key as you launch your operating system to turn them off. Then open InDesign and probably all will be well. Therefore you need to understand what it is (e.g., Chrome plug-ins are common problems) that is causing the problem.

    I'm afraid I can't help you. I don't know any shortcut to turn in Wacom properties.

    Try the latest version of the driver. According to the website the most recent driver is 6.3.14 (you mentioned another version)

    Did you uninstall your old driver before installing the new? If not, try again because that could cause the problem...

    I use Indesign CS4 on mac.


    I want to apply some wee (no kerning or tracking, just spacing between words) to a few paragraphs.
    My book of Real World Indesign CS4 tells me that these shortcuts should work:
    1. to increase the spacing of the word without affecting the pitch press on - Option Comand / or Ctrl-Alt-/ which will add the basis of kerning increment (as defined by the value in the kerning in dialog units and increments of preferences) after each character space in the text range.
    2. hold down aswell shift key to increase above 5 times.

    3. to decrease the spacing of the word without affecting spacing on Comand + Option + DELETE or Ctrl-Alt-Backspace that will deduct the basic kerning increment (as defined by the value in the kerning in dialog units and increments of preferences) after each character space in the text range.

    4 2. Hold the aswell shift key to decrease the above 5 times.

    I have a Swedish keyboard shortcut, works of command-Option-Backspace to reduce floor space, but the increase keyboard shortcuts do not work for me.

    I tried to use the keyboard shortcuts to change the dialog box, but very few type commands are so I can't change the shortcut, even though I know that the keyboard shortcut to reduce no infact exist and work (but not listed).
    I looked under the default and the Swedish shortcut sets but these shortcuts are not listed.

    * All * existing shortcuts are listed in the keyboard shortcuts editor - but they are divided into separate categories, which may explain why you don't see one that you're Lookin '.

    I could still missing some practice, because I'm a veteran of FrameMaker but a newcomer to FrameMaker Windows. Thus, it might not surprise if I can't find the shortcut to "go to the next paragraph. CTRL-down corresponds to the end of the current paragraph, but then stops there, until I have not to support again. On the contrary, selection by paragraph with Ctrl-Shift-down works fine, just like moving upward with Ctrl-top.

    Am I missing something?

    You can change the keys ctrl + PgDn function in the file wincmds.cfg as the equivalent of the b p shortcut. You must follow the instructions in the documentation for customizing FrameMaker found here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FrameMaker/8.0/customize_frame.pdf

    The sequence of p b is defined as such:


       

    Change the keys ctrl + PgDn function to have the same definition.

    Make backups of the .cfg file before you start to play with them.

    I can't find how to display help text you quoted, but the shortcuts are not supported in the help item-level. They are supported in the labels of items, however.

    If you can describe the steps you took to locate this text I would appreciate it so that we can correct the information.

    I have not any suggestions on support systems, but I'm sure others will.
