Function table LOV advanced search

Hello

I want to have LOV on some fields on the advanced table, but LOV values depend on the required fields

For example, in the first table in the query

   SELECT *
            FROM xla_entity_types_vl
            where 1=1
            AND application_id = 20004

But in my case the application_id must be retrieved dynamically from the line.

Can someone guide me how to proceed to the query in the view object?

Varun,

You must have the application_id in a column in table advanced to pass as a parameter to the LOV.

In the second lovMap, you must specify as a criteriaItem, not resultTo.

should be

It will be useful.

See you soon

  • Table of contents search function can search through several SCO files?

    Table of contents search function can search through several SCO files?

    My project is a combination of 6 different SCOs, which I wrapped using the Multi-SCO in CC 6.1. The client requested a Table of contents (TOC) which can be consulted; However, our tests indicate that, even if you create a table of contents in the Multi-SCO mode, you are unable to search across multiple SCO files. That's why when you use the function search to search for a specific term, you are only able to search within the current OCS (active/charge). Is there a work around that?

    Thank you!

    N ° research works in the course of the OCS.

  • Where is the 'advanced search' function to search for modules?

    Previously, when "shopping" for a new add-on, I clicked on 'Advanced search', which helped specify me that these limits as extensions only (not), my OS, version of Firefox recently updated rating minimum, etc.. I see that more - surely it's not really gone while the number of available modules continues to grow.

    I've been to the 'store' through the Add-ons Manager, Access tab modules get. Is there a better way to avoid having to sort through dozens of the less appropriate offers?

    You can use this link and then use the header to sort the results. I chose 'Rating' on this particular occasion: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/?sort=rating

  • features of advanced search on the selection of several elements in a specific list

    Hello

    I use Jdeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.1.0, ADF BC.

    As I've recently switched to this new version of Jdeveloper, I was wondering if it is possible to have the functionality of advanced search on multiple values from a list instead of just a single value.

    Here's an example, let's assume that this status is falling to the bottom of the list with the values A, B, C and d. (and there may be also some related text inputs it.)
    In seeking, I want to get the lines whose status is saying; either A or b.

    PS: I want to ensure that a solution is available in JHeadStart.

    Sylvain Perreault,

    If you want to get a drop - downgrade in your LOV based on the model, you define a ViewAccesor in your VO, and a list of values against your VO attribute.
    Note that it is possible to define a View object that reads values from a static list, you can then set the ViewAccessor and LOV against this static VO. Check out the blog of thos for more information:

  • Changing numeric value in the advanced search datafinder range

    I try to use the Datafinder advanced search to get all files with a certain value in the amplitude channel.  I'm trying to do it by searching for the name of the channel = Amplitude and maximum track = number. For some reason, maximum has a range of values of 1 to 1, and this impedes my ability to research. When I try to look for another value out of reach, say Amplitude = 0.2, I get no results.  Is it possible that I can lift the restriction of the value or go around another way?

    I have attached a screengrab of research I am conducting, but also an example of data .tdms file.

    See you soon,.

    Ellie

    Hi Ellie,

    The file DDHN you posted doesn't have one Maximum or Minimum property registered in the channel ' entry/Amplitude voltage settings' (or another).  If you resave this tiara channel, it will be, but you must decide the best way to automatically fill properties.  The DataFinder cannot query a property whose value is defined on NoValue.

    What is confusing about this scenario, is that the tiara automatically calculates the properties Maximum and Minimum for each channel that is loaded in the data portal, it seems that these properties have values - when you load them in DIAdem, they do it.  But if you look at the table of properties DataFinder, according to Eva, you will see that the values are all NoValue.

  • Function table in oracle

    Hi all

    I am using Oracle 11g

    I want to know in order to learn

    What is the CURSOR in the function table.

    What is its usefulness

    Can someone explain to me.

    SELECT x.*

    (TABLE (package1.function1)

    CURSOR (SELECT

    t.*

    OF test1 t))) x

    Thank you

    What is the CURSOR in the function table.

    What is its usefulness

    Can someone explain to me.

    SELECT x.*

    (TABLE (package1.function1)

    CURSOR (SELECT

    t.*

    OF test1 t))) x

    This slider is NOT 'in the function table. It is in the call to YOUR function named "packagae1.function1" and the function returns a collection. If it is the result of the collection of YOUR function call which is 'in the function table.

    Your probable function takes a REF CURSOR as a parameter, so the code above uses the CURSOR operator to create a cursor from a subquery.

    Your function then returns a collection and SCOREBOARD operator is used to make this collection available in SQL.

    See FUNCTIONS TABLE in the Oracle documentation. A simple search for 'oracle 11g table function' returns the Oracle doc as the FIRST result listed:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/AppDev.111/b28425/pipe_paral_tbl.htm

    This chapter describes the functions of table

    . . .

    Overview of the functions of table

    Table functions are producing a set of lines (a nested table or a varray) that can be queried as a physical database table. You use a function table as the name of a database table, in the FROM clause of a query.

    A table function can take a set of input lines. A parameter of the input collection can be of a collection type or a REF CURSOR .

    . . .

    Look at the examples 5-13 and 13-6, because they show the code for your EXACT example:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/AppDev.111/b28425/pipe_paral_tbl.htm#CIHEGADE

    . . .

    Example 13-6 How to use a function Table in pipeline with REF CURSOR Arguments

    SELECT * FROM TABLE(StockPivot(CURSOR(SELECT * FROM StockTable)));

    In the previous query, the function table in pipeline StockPivot retrieves the lines of the CURSOR subquery SELECT * FROM StockTable , performs the transformation and channels the results to the user in the form of table. The function produces two lines of output for each input line (items in the collection).

    Note that when a CURSOR subquery went from SQL for a REF CURSOR argument of function as in the previous example, the referenced cursor is already open when the function begins to run.

    As the doc example, as in your example, a subquery of CURSOR to create a cursor to be used as a function parameter. Example 13 - 5 has the actual code for the function.

    The documentation is your FRY - don't be afraid to use it.

    If you try to learn something a good question to ask on the forums is: where can I get more information about the functions of the table (or other topic).

    Then, we can direct you to the Oracle documentation that covers this topic.

  • RETURN type of function table

    Hello

    I read conflicting information about the return type that has a table function must or may use.

    First, I am a student of a book that says:

    Function in pipeline returns the data types:

    The main constraint for the pipeline functions, it is the return type must be a collection type autonomous which can be used in SQL - i.e. a VARRAY or table nested.

    and then in the next sentence...

    More precisely a pipeline function can return the following:

    A stand-alone nested table or VARRAY, defined at the schema level.

    A nested table or VARRAY that has been declared in a package type.

    This seems to go against the first quoted sentence.

    Now, before reading the above text I had done just my own test to see if a packed type would work because I thought I had read somewhere that it would not, and he does not (the test code and this output is at the end of this question). When I arrived in the text above, after my test, so I was naturally confused.

    So, I'm going to PL/SQL reference that says:

    RETURN data type

    The data type of the value returned by a function table in pipeline must be a type collection defined either at the level of schema or within a package (therefore, it cannot be a type of associative array).

    I tried to call a function that returns a collection of VARRAY type packaged in both SQL and PL/SQL (of course below is SQL all in any case) and no work.

    Now I'm wondering what is a TABLE function must use a schema type and a function table in pipeline can use a packaged type?  I see that I created and called a function table but examples of Oracle see the creation and use of a function table in pipeline.

    Edit: I should add that I read the following sentence in the SF book on p609 in * table functions: "this type of nested table must be defined as an element of level diagram, because the SQL engine must be able to resolve a reference to a collection of this kind."

    So that it begins to resemble table functions should return a schema type and pipelined table functions, perhaps because that they don't in fact return a collection, rather they return (RowSource) content, can use the schema types or types of packages. Is this correct?

    Can someone clarify this for me please?

    Thank you in advance,

    J

    But the compilation of the PIPELINED WILL CREATE the schematic function types automatically. And the TABLE function, applied to the PIPELINED function, use these types of hidden patterns.

    I managed to solve the problem.

    Ultimately I don't check if the values were empty, as it worked fine without. However, the switch of the price did not work in combination with the rest of the query.

    I solved the problem as follows:

      $varCategory_rsgetsearch2 = $_GET['Category'];

    }
    $varPrice_rsgetsearch2 = "%";
    if (isset($_GET['Keysound_price'])) {
      $varPrice_rsgetsearch2 = $_GET['price'];

    }
    mysql_select_db($database_dBconn, $dBconn);
    $query_rsgetsearch2 = sprintf("SELECT * FROM products WHERE Category LIKE %s AND products.Manufacturer LIKE %s AND products.Color LIKE %s", GetSQLValueString("%" . $varCategory_rsgetsearch2 . "%", "text"),GetSQLValueString("%" . $varMake_rsgetsearch2 . "%", "text"),GetSQLValueString("%" . $varColor_rsgetsearch2 . "%", "text") );
    switch( $_GET['price'] ){
            case '0-500':
            $query_rsgetsearch2 .= ' AND price BETWEEN 0 AND 500 ORDER BY price ASC';
            break;
              case '500-1000':
            $query_rsgetsearch2 .= ' AND price BETWEEN 500 AND 1000 ORDER BYprice ASC';
            break;
                        case '1000-2000':
            $query_rsgetsearch2 .= ' AND price BETWEEN 1000 AND 2000 ORDER BY price ASC';

  • Hide the fields to add fields drop-down list in the advanced search mode.

    On the drop-down list to add fields in the field of the advanced search displayed by an af:query, is there a way to hide some of the attributes? He seems to show all the attributes of the default VO.

    The fields must be visible on other pages that use the VO. Table Panel and search queries will only to display a subset of the fields in the VO.

    Assigning to the attribute Display tip to hide will not do; at least this seems to be the case, because if I do that, then, the field is not available on the data control to be placed on other pages.

    I guess I could create a separate VO just to the search page; but I try to avoid this, it invites excessive maintenance as the system grows. If no indication on how to hide a field VO on add fields while leaving the field to be displayed on other pages would be appreciated.

    Versions: JDeveloper 11.1.1.4, ADF business 11.1.1.59.23 components.

    Thank you.

    I wrote a blog post on this subject and a sample of http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2012/01/06/jdev-afquery-hide-some-attributes-from-query-panel-but-show-them-in-the-result-table/ here

  • Advanced search in the JHS 11.1.1.2.29 release

    In JHS Technical Preview 2 there was a possibility in the advanced search to use the extended search (good).

    JHS production 11.1.1.2.29, this feature is missing. Y at - there somewhere a setting?

    If I define a query operator user-defined settings are not correct:

    is
    is
    is not
    etc.

    the East is double defined and enters is missing

    If I use the 'is' on a date field of the search does not work.
    If I use the 'mensen aan is' I get an error message:

    oracle.jbo.SQLStmtException < ActionListenerImpl > < processAction >: Houston-27122: SQL-hell tijdens voorbereiding van statement. If I change my English research gives no error but also no results.

    So if I want the results today, I need to use after

    I have no possibility to get only results from yesterday.

    Kind regards

    Menk,

    It is a compromise, with JHS-search you more flexibility, in particular for the development of the search box.

    However, based on the model of research has more features advanced: dynamiclaly "setByUser" capabilities, research, saved adds dynamically add fields.
    Note that if you decide to start using research based on the model, you must also go to based on the model of LOV, JHS-LOVs/menus drop down are not visible in the area of research based on templates.

  • How can I stop "Advanced search of Nation" to come whenever I open a new tab in Firefox under Mac OSX?

    Help! A few days previously, toolbar 'Advanced search Nation' (SIN) began to appear when I opened Firefox. I removed the SIN application of my computer that got rid of the toolbar, but now when I click to open a new tab, the tab opens with the URL of NAS. I was not able to prevent this. I downloaded and installed Firefox again, but that has not worked. I used the Spotlight to search for advanced search of Nation, but none were found. I hope someone can help me with this problem, and believe me when I say that I'll be very grateful for any help. Thank you.

    Use the searchreset tool and remove a user.js file as possible.

  • Google advanced search disappeared!

    Recently, Google search advanced option has disappeared from Firefox! It's always where it has been in the Inetrnet Explorer: at the bottom of a search. What happened, and what should I do, if I don't use Internet Explorer!

    When I try a google search, the advanced search option is available on the right side of the page the button parameters (see screenshot).
