• Lightroom plugin auto start

  I am trying to write something like a plugin of statistics for Lightroom. I need the plugin so that it starts automatically without user intervention (after all I'm collecting statistics which should be an automated process). I have read the API, but I have not found a way to do it. I tried adding executable code in Info.lua but it is limited (it cannot be used to import so I can't get Lr * but only the channels). I tried to use the LrEnablePlugin, LrInitPlugin, but they are called only when manually the plugin from loading/reloading or opening the Plugin Manager. I am of ideas, unless there is a more robust way to write extensions for the basic product.

  Yet, I have not found a system of events in the API. It is good to know when a photo is edited, imported, rating, etc. I think of two ways to overcome this - all first way is to intercept the functions so that they call a function defined by the first user (for example getAllPhotos to call getAllPhotosCallback first, then the original getAllPhotos) but this account on the assumption that Lightroom itself uses these functions rather than being only interface functions; the other way is to use a publication service.

  Actually, the problem of auto-start is a "show-stopper". Without overcoming the whole plugin would be useless.

  Mix in an element of custom metadata (hide if you can't use it) and LrInitPlugin will be called when Lightroom first startup - you can then do pretty much what you want in a background thread - no event but you can query... Just be aware that access write catalogue in a background thread can have collisions with other plugins, I use this to access the catalog, so no problems:

• Is there a self-inventory plugin based on deb / rpm packages?

  Our applications are all installed with help from deb (under Debian) or rpm (on RedHat) packages. I think that the best way to detect automatically that these applications (servers in HQ) would be to watch just to see if a particular deb or rpm package is installed.

  This should be trivial if HQ allows. Is there documentation on how to write your own plugin auto - inventory? I looked in the docs online and what they're talking about is to use the provided DaemonDetector.

  Please can someone help me with this, as its driving me crazy and I have a deadline coming!

  OK, I have a composition in After Effects, I was working, but now, when I go to open it, I get the message "after effects error: incident occurred while invoking the plugin"auto contrast"effect." After clicking on OK, I get a window saying "after effects error: current Crash" as you can see from the attached images. Please can someone help me to open my file again, or at least to get my project data! I already tried everything and anything! By the way, I have no problem with RAM or anything as my other compositions are ok.

  Go to utilities/Audio-MIDI settings...

  With the keyboard plugged in, look on the MIDI tab, everything is listed.

  After update for Sierra have you disconnected the keyboard, stop and restart the computer, allow to settle and then reconnect the keyboard.

• Still image to the video model motion?

  I was see a few commercials and even a few videos surface, one in particular, which appears to be an illustration of pencil of a dog who comes to life in the real video image of the dog then.  Does anyone know what I mean?  I don't know what they are called, but I'd love to make some of these for my work and I do not know where to start or how even elsewhere.

  Quite simple really. You need take your video images and export them or use a plugin auto trace these contour lines. Then, you run a few frames from the video converted text outlines and do a simple transition. The trick is to convert the video images to outlines. There are several plug-ins that will do that. You can export say all the other images in 2 seconds of video of a sequence of images, load the images into Illustrator in separate layers, then trace of self and to convert, then import the illustrator file as a model, the sequence layers and make your stay. FYI a little here - cell more animation, the kind that you look at is double. IOW, the two images are identical. If your comp is running 24 fps, need you 12 images...

  Alternatively, you can do amazing things fairly quickly in Photoshop just a few images of an opening in Photoshop video and application of filters on the work there.

• Need to split a multi-page User.ID file in multiple-paged single ID files

  I have created a document pages 366 (and have 2 more to create). None of the sons text from one page to another and there is no master page item. Each page is intended to be used as a single block that will be copied and pasted into a master document by a plugin-based database (and for the color and patterns to separate .indd of editing files). For reasons of expediency, I created these in a single document because I was able to import text with ID tags before formatting the text (with all threaded text blocks). Then, I broke all text threads using plugin Auto Unstich of the API. Then, we have manually modified the text of each page.

  Gluon once sold a plugin called DocSplitter, but it has not been updated since CS1 and doesn't work with CS4.

  Before ask you why I don't have the database plugin create several single page - the plugin docs does not currently save to different docs ID (not yet - feature will be released in 3 months).

  I know that the script could possibly do what I need, but I have little or no experience with AppleScript (7 years ago) and zero with Javascript. Would like to find a pre-packaged solution and I am willing to pay someone to do this.

  You will see on the second screen shot on the home page in the gallery section, it shows that inx and indd are options for export.

• Plugins for GarageBand

  * I don't really know much about the subject so bear with me please *.

  I downloaded a few plugins (Soundmagic Spectral, SonEQ, Podolski) on my macbook pro to GarageBand 10.1.0. recently, but may not know how to install them. I have download the plugin in the form of ZIP archive, and once I unzip, it produces a .pkg file. Once I double click the .pkg file, it goes through an installation process, but then nothing else happens. I read up on how to install plugins for GarageBand and it looks like I'm supposed to receive a .dmg file and then I can place it in the appropriate folder to be visible in GarageBand.

  If someone could tell me please just by what I'm supposed to do / what I'm doing wrong, I would be really grateful.

  I'm having a similar problem with GarageBand without acknowledging my plug in files. I even went up to as to uninstall and reinstall.

  It seems to me that you SHOULD all together. Running one. PKG file is the installer, as if you had gotten a. DMG (disk image).

• How can I disable the loading of the Warp Stalibizer and Auto color Plugins?

  I have problems with a project of mine.

  My main project file won't load because the stabilizer shape and color auto crash when it is called.

  I thought it was a problem with file IO, but when I removed the external drive where the movie was, he gave me the same errors.

  So, I hope that disable the plugin at startup AFX loadin will restore my ability to load the file and retrieve my comps.

  I just moved the plugin AutoColor.aex and Stabilizer.aex files to another location temporalily.

  I deleted the references to effects and I replaced the .aex files in their previous location.

  Now I can open my project very well.

• Why my plugins are not auto update as I have it set to?

  I set up for my Add - ons for automatically updating but find that they are not always do that. for example, Java and Adobe. I know that I can do it manually, but don't want to and that's why I put it in place for the automatic update.

  That extensions can be updated via Firefox.
  
  Plugins like Flash and Java are installed via other programs and software on your computer and you need plugins updates yourself manually if they don't check that automatically when they are used.

• Plugin Flash does not load after upgrading to 40.0.2

  Firefox recently Auto-setting 39.0.3 to 40.0.2 on two of my Win7 machines up-to-date. After the upgrade or machine could load a radio station Flash stream. Relocation of 39.0.3 returns to normal streaming.

• Firefox 34.0.5 said plugin Adobe Flash is blocked, but the audit reports to update my plugin Flash (version 16.0.0.235) is underway. How to fix?

  About 1 month ago I have updated Flash and Firefox to newer versions. Firefox 34.0.5, running on Windows XP, SP3, displays Adobe Flash plugin in version 16.0.0.235, but it is now blocked again. No other versions of Flash are obvious. When I choose the screen Flash option to check the plugins are updated, Firefox reports the Flash plugin is up to date.
  This program's behavior is wrong and needs to be fixed. Review at Adobe, current Flash is 16.0.0.305.
  Who or what is broken here? Is Firefox broken and not properly related this newest version of the Flash plugin is available?
  I do not seem to previous versions of Flash installed on the system. This combo of the software was working properly for a while and then become broken, without path appropriate to allow users to resolve the issue. If Firefox is set to 'Block' a plugin, then it * MUST * be configured to easily and * CORRECTLY * allow this plugin to update. Using the latest software, my clicking on the function of "Check for updates" is reporting that Adobe Flash is the most recent version. Arrrrgh!
  I am now back to the "diagnose and repair broken Flash + Firefox" exercise that I just went thru.
  Best solution here would be to allow the user to easily override the mechanism of 'blocking' This could help users who use only access Flash video on trusted sites.

  OK, fixed. You must manually update for Adobe Flash 16.0.0.305. Do this downloaded by the installation program Adobe Flash, for WIndows with plugin browsers. Closing Firefox, run the Adobe Flash Installer and restart Firefox, you should see the plugin Flash is now 16.0.0.305. I use Windows XP - SP3, on an old HP box. Seems to work ok now (video sites course streams without incurring of autoblocking). Inspection of network traffic shows smoother bandwidth also.

  Steps to follow:

  (1) download the latest version of the Flash plugin installed, for Windows with plugins, if you are using XP - SP3. Try to get the full 18 meg installer of Flash player.
  I followed a number of different links and eventually got to a page
  who has several options for different operating systems and versions
  the browser used. I chose Flash for Windows Setup with
  browsers that use plugins (as opposed to Windows IE/ActiveX).
  I can't find the exact URL that has the 16.0.0.305 plugin. I'll post
  the URL as a post follow-up, once I found where Adobe has it.

  The file you want is:
  'install_flash_player_16_plugin.exe '.

  Note, date 11 February 2015, the version I downloaded
  called 'install_flash_player_16_plugin.exe' is 18,129,584 bytes.

  I ran "md5sum" on it, and got:

  (2) Download this prgm (install_Flash_player_16_plugin.exe), and
  put it anywhere where you put the .exe files downloaded.

  (3) exit Firefox.

  (4) or use the "Run" box, or click a "cmd" to shell
  for a prompt C:\. Find the Setup program, and then run it. Should be
  update the contents of the directory:
  "C:\windows\system32\macromed\flash".

  (5) you can confirm that the content of this directory is updated.
  Check the content of the file "mms.cfg. It has two lines and controls
  If Flash updates will be automatically, or in the background.
  (I'm paranoid, and disable the auto update... Any program of automatic update
  is a perfect vector for insertion of viruses. Use this approach to your own
  risk.)

  (6) restart Firefox and confirm the Flash plugin is now worm 16.0.0.305.

  This should fix the autoblocking of Flash for the 16.0.0.235 plugin.

• under xp, I can use wmpplugin dll3.0.2.629 to play a certain audio file in win7, I can't get the plugin for FF, why

• Firefox auto-updated Adobe Reader, new versions?

  It seems that in the past Firefox has auto-mis to update the Adobe Acrobat (last update indicated as August 5, 2014). He presents himself as Adobe PDF plugin for Firefox, but it does not show the new version comes out.

  All my plug-ins are appearing as "up-to-date", including the Flash from Adobe, which has been recently updated on 9 September.

  Is it too early for the plug-in to be updated? Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

  If you talk about the Mozilla plugin checker, it has a bad default.
  I must say that is the current version. You can have a more
  a version recently, but until the web page is told, it will tell you to update.
