GeForce 8800GT

Hello
the GeForce 8800GT of the year 2008 (pilot 266.58) is powerful enough to get hardware acceleration (gpu acceleration enabled on Firefox and Flash player) to work well in Firefox 6 or 7, or my graphics card is not supported? Thank you very much.

It was released in October 2007 in fact. nVidia GeForce 8800 GT

DirectX Compliance:	10.0

  • GeForce 8800gts, PSU and a Dell Dimension E510

I'm not an expert on the material, so I'll try and do that as clear as possible.

I have a system Dell Dimension E510, running a P4 3.0Ghz and 2.5 GB of RAM. I am looking to update my graphics at a Geforce 8800 card or an 8600.

I confirmed I have plenty of room for the 8800 card to fit my motherboard, but I am more concerned about my diet.

Now I looked around this forum for a definet response. Most argued that the stock of POWER Dell 305 block w is able to run a 8800 with no problems, while others were not so sure, he could and recommended that they improve their power supply to an Antec, since its been proven that they work with the E510.

I know that this has been asked before in the past and I'm sorry, but I just want absolute course before buying it, will be a run on the PSU E510 Geforce 8800? I don't plan on overclocking the card or something like that.

  • HP Compaq DC7800 small form Fa: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB vs. HP Compaq DC7800 Small Form Factor

    Hello

I'm not too familiar with the hardware upgrades, so I wonder if a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB would be compatible with my HP Compaq DC7800 Small Form Factor?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hello:

Here is the link to the plug for the GeForce 8800GT...

    http://www.GeForce.com/hardware/desktop-GPUs/GeForce-8800-GT/specifications

Certainly, this card will not work in your machine for two reasons.

    1. he needs a power outlet extra that doesn't have food dc7800.

    2. the draw of the power of the card (105W), is too much for the PCIe x 16 slot 25W prorated and 240W power your PC.

These PCs is designed for light desktop for administration.

If you want to add a video card, it must be a down a profile that comes with low profile brackets in the area.

I recommend the AMD HD 6450 or Nvidia GT-610 low profile cards that will work within the limits of the power supply of your PC has.

  • Processor or graphics card for the best HD video in the Web?

I use a Mac Pro (early 2008) 2x3.2 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon. I bought it used from a computer store.

The graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT 512MB.

My memory is 20GB 800 MHz etc etc.

I'm on Yosemite 10.10.5, using 6.0.5 FCP (Final Cut Studio 2)

    I shoot HD 1920 x 1080.

I notice the game back in the looks really rough canvas so I used the computer for all other applications prior to use of the CPF.

It is smooth only when I use first of the PCF after the computer starts. Sometimes, when I reboot, it will be good but soon begins to become unstable again.

I'm not sure if it's because my computer is not fast enough? strong enough? Do I need a faster processor or better video card?

I guess the memory isn't the question after reading other topics. But I have not found a topic that addresses this issue.

    Advice appreciated. Thank you.

20 GB is an odd number. Your RAM should be installed in multiples of 4. 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB.  Although I do not know if what matters a lot. You have a lot of RAM, because the FCP uses only 4 GB max.

The issue could be the fact that you run FCP 6 on an unsupported operating system.  The latest OS supporting FCP 6 was 10.5. FCP 7 last supported on 10.6.8... since then updated all the BONES do not take into account legacy CPF work into account.  You are 5 OS versions past version full support, so the application does not work as well as it would on an operating system supported.

Now... you say you shoot HD 1920 x 1080... you convert when you bring it in FCP? What codec is when you cut it? And this drive it is stored on? Logged how?

  • The computer then hangs in Safari

I'm running an early 2008 Mac Pro with OS 10.10.5

For some time now, mainly during the use of Facebook in Safari, my computer hangs to the top in the following way: the screen developed large rectangular areas of areas (apparently) frozen at random, colors, symbols, etc.. The cursor moves during a short period of time, and sometimes there are times close Safari and regain normal functioning long enough to restart. Other times, the entire system will lock and I have to do a hard restart using the power button.

This took place through to many OS updates, trashes preferably, power draw and cache purges. My first thought is that it is the graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT 512 MB), but if that's the case, why is it mainly using Facebook in Safari? I enclose the latest report of Kernel Panic for someone out there who might be able to shed some light on this.

  • Pavilion a1620e: Athlon 64 X 2 does not not with Mo A8M2N-(Nodus3) in the a1620e Pavilion

    Hello

Pavilion a1620e (MB A8M2N-(NodusM3) with the following improvements:)

    RAM - 3 GB

    POWER 600 watt PSU

    GeForce 8800GTS

Works well with WIN 7 64 bit.

I want to upgrade the processor and like HP saying the Council is good for an Athlon 64 X 2 5000 + I tried one, but the computer refused to start - just constant high-speed fan and no other answer.

My bios version is the 3.07 original. I would try 3.10 or 5.02, but it does not seem possible to download them.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    OK
It took a while, but now I have an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 5000 + to work in my HP Pavilion a1620e computer. After having no success with the original Windsor ((ADA5000IAA5CS) I bought a Brisbane (ADO5000IAA5DO) on Ebay for 5 euros and phenomena inside.

All the research I did suggested the Brisbane does not work on the MB A8M2N-(Nodus3), but to my surprise the machine has started AND has been recognized by the BIOS. To test, I had just reinstalled the original 3500 + HSF and it was not long before that Core Temp indicated that the CPU became powerful hot so I turned off and order an ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 HSF from Amazon. It is significantly larger than the stock of 3500 + HSF and I wasn't sure if it would fit in the case of a1620e, but it doesn't - come.

It is easier to adjust by first removing the power supply (I found that it was possible to slide over the body in the way which rather than loose all their components wiring caps), then loosely tying the two tiny hold the SH screw brackets before attempting to fix in position. Once the heatsink in place the fan simply clips on it. Fan socket on the MB is three-pin, the Arctic Freezer 7 fan is four pins, but it fits the correct MB decision-making. The extra pin is for PWM speed control, but MB controls the speed of the fan very well without it.

The new HSF runs much quieter than the original and control the temperature of 5000 + perfectly. I'm writing this Core Temp shows #0 27 C Core and Core #1 34 C, with a max since the start (an hour earlier) 41 & 50 respectively.

Obviously, the new processor is faster than the old single 3500 + and worth it, if a power supply upgrade is, I think, required. The stock power supply was sorely lacking and I exchanged for a Watt ATX 630, which seems to do good with my Geforce 8800GTS and the new processor graphics card.

I noticed that the computer CPU assembling start-up can freeze occasionally and need to be restarted. Once restarted it works fine. Usually only happens once, if at all and so far I have not found a problem.

Also, I had the opportunity to examine under a glass strong mag Windsor 5000 + who did not later. One of the external pins had broken. It was almost impossible to see with the naked eye. He could well the reason why it did not work, so don't give up on Windsor if you have the A8M2N-(Nodus3), just avoid the Brisbane either. There are loads of Brisbane ADO5000IAA5DO go cheap over there and we could work just for you.

A final remark on another subject: I do not know if a member of the staff of HP take the trouble to read these forums (probably not!) but since the beginning of my research, many of the useful pages of HP customer service have disappeared from their website and redirected to a page of "Welcome to HP customer support" useless. In fact, for those of us with older computers HP does no service the customer at all. I have two HP computers: a Pavilion a1620e (the subject of this post) and a workstation XW4600. They will be the latest products from HP that I will buy. The XW4600 is still supported, probably because it has been sold for commercial application. Small vintage, produced for the individual products are not. I can understand HP did not want to spend money on the updates to the bios, etc. of these older products, but to remove all references to them shows a cynical disregard for a customer who, if they make sense, now will never buy an HP product again. Shame on you HP!

  • Compaq Presario SR5414UK Graphics Card + PSU

    Hello

I have a Compaq Presario SR5414UK now and you want to add a nVidia Geforce 8800GTS which me curreently running on the integrated graphics card. To do this, I apparently up to my diet because I have 300 watts and need from 400 to run this card. The 500W model it would be sufficient to run the card and in addition to my PC?

    http://www.Maplin.co.UK/module.aspx?moduleno=221195

If this is not the case, I need to run this card that would fit in my current PC.

    Thanks in advance.

P.s. Please note I live in England and therefore need a place that is delivered to, preferably with the lowest possible cost if shipping overseas is inevitable.

  • [Vista] Office Elite video 9090it driver

I tried to update video card driver from the NVidia site.

This computer, Elite 9090it, get a GeForce 8800GTS.

After the update, the computer stopped working.

Can you tell me if the only videodrivers this computer accepts that on HP site - obsolete real, since they are 2 years old.

    Thank you.

EPD, the driver from the nVidia website should work without any problems.  Have you tried to use "Option 2"when you search for the correct driver? ".  This option has always worked for me.

I suggest the connection from the monitor to the VGA connector in the back plate.  You may need to use an adapter.  This should allow the computer to boot.  Once it has started, you must remove the nVidia Driver.  Then use "Driver Sweeper" to remove the remains of it.  Be sure to follow the instructions for DS carefully.  Once the driver is then deleted, download and install the latest driver from nVidia website.  I hope it will work for you.

    Let us know what happens.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: upgrade cpu

I want to improve my prccessor for the games, but I have no idea where to start, I know not where to buy one, or which is not compatible with my computer. Right now I have an AMD A8 - 6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics 2 .00GHz. Please help me, I really need a better processor.

    Thank you

    Lily

    Here are the minimum requirements:

    http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI/requirements/call-of-duty-black-o/11439?p=r

    CPU:

    Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHz or AMD Phenom X 3 8750 2.4 GHz

    Processor speed:

    Info

    RAM:

2 GB for 32-bit OS and 4 GB for 64-bit operating system

    OPERATING SYSTEM:

Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7

    Video card:

NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT 512 MB or ATI Radeon HD 3870 512 MB

Your processor is easily as strong as a Core 2 Duo E8200. The video is your weakness. There's really nothing you can do to improve. The video is soldered to the motherboard.

  • Windows Vista update, constantly offering the same updates

Well, the title of my post was just to make things seem worse than they really are. But I think it's a bug, not less.

I just installed Windows Security Essentials. "Windows Update" keeps me showing that there are both updates optional available through the installation of "Windows Security Essentials". They are updated definition for this software. They are two 3.7 MB. KB, KB2310138, numbers are both the same, but the details see the numbers of different virus definition. The definition of a 1.97.1086.0 and the other is 1.97.840.0. If I install one updates it installs correctly and everything is fine, except that Microsoft Update tells me there is 1 additional optional upgrade for me to install which is annoying and misleading. If I install "both" the KB2310138 updated simultaneously or in succession he confused Windows Update all together and go back to square 1 saying that there is 'optional' 2 updates I can install it. I don't know what is happening, but there is definitely a bug in the middle of all this chaos.

Maybe someone could tell me if these "Windows Security Essentials" definition updates are cumulative, so that if you later you don't need all the updates of prior definition or are non-cumulative? Thank you.

Updates, mainly critical updates, which are downloaded and installed manually appear actually Windows XP-> Control Panel-> Add / Remove programs. I use NO automatic update of Windows. I run a batch file to install more than 20 + critical updates, but none of them are showing up for me in the list "Add / Remove Programs". Yes, I have the check box 'Show updates' checked. • When Microsoft will release SP1 for Windows 7?

I'm curious as to the criteria that Microsoft uses to determine where they should go out a certain Service Pack for their operating systems.  IM counting 43 updates already installed for my OS to Windows 7 and this OS is officially released less than a month. Im not here to complain the number of patches. Its impressive speed at which they release security patches when they occur. But my complaint would be more to have to download and individually install all these fixes in the future, if I were ever a reason any. Once again, what my question is, when can we expect the first Service Pack 1 for Windows 7, and what criteria are going to Microsoft during this decision to release a Service Pack?

P.S. For the record I think that its sad that Microsoft does not release a Service Pack 4 for Windows XP. IM already on Windows 7, but many people don't. Even if the system fades into history, it all seems like the right thing to do given the number of a security updates for the operating system from the SP3. • What is the best way to create a custom Windows XP slipstreamed CD so that I can install fees and be perfectly up-to-date on security updates at the end of the installation?

I have Windows XP SP3 OEM CD. I want to use to create a 'new' Windows XP OEM CD slipstreamed which would include at each update published security for XP since Service Pack 3. After researching this project for a bit, I noticed that an unholy amount of security updates have been released since Service Pack 3. My main question is how can I get all these security updates without having to monotonous download each individually? Or is this the only way? Is there a website that is legitimate and can be trusted who was respected and compressed these updates of security in a single file that can be downloaded? How can I incorporate these security updates? It is even possible to integrate these security updates or would they simply be performed one after the other during the installation of Windows XP?
