Generation of PWM for MOSFET

Hello everyone,

I want to know if it is possible to make a signal PWM with LabVIEW control MOSFETs. My biggest problem is the equipment for this action. I'd appreciate it really answers useful. Thank you for your time!

Thank you

Grigory

P.S. the Datasheet of the MOSFETs are attached

Se see example attached here and you should be able to change the cycle frequency and duty as well...!

Edited: well, I must tell you, this code works well with any M, X material of the series using functions DAQmx.

    Hello

as mentioned in the title, I'm looking for the best way to generate a PWM signal to a relay. I want to use a laptop computer and the LabView2010 for she. I have read through several topics, but after a time that he just got more confused. For example the NI USB-6008 OEM case seems to be a solutiion at low prices, but I don't know if I can use for the generation of PWM signals like this thread says is not possible:

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/Multifunction-DAQ/using-PWM-on-NI-6008/m-p/231860/highlight/true#M13339

But then again this thread right here makes it seem as if it was doable:

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/Digital-I-O/generating-a-PWM-using-USB-6008/m-p/421654/highlight/true#M5527

    Once again in abbreviated form.

    What I need:

-the best way to generate a PWM signal to control a relay

    What I have so far:

    -LabView2010

    -Laptop

If possible, it would be good to have two channels for two separate signals, but it is more low importance right now.

    Hey Kambra,.

The first thread you mention is correct, you can't make output PWM in any deterministic mode with a 6008. The 6008 is strictly software timed, which means that each digital writing that is done in the unit must go through the operating system and down to the device. And there is a lot of jitter of the involved BONE. The second article you mention says the same thing. They emphasized that they could reduce the jitter of some, but still can not remove it entirely. In the second thread, they mention using a M-series USB device do output PWM deterministic (timed material).

The compromise really down to your application and its requirements. If your application to control the relay requires no determinism, then you can use the 6008. If you need precise control over the relay, try the USB M series.

  • Error Code HDL with CRio RFP generation after update for LabView 2012

    Hello everyone,

I use a CRio DP Comsoft master/slave module for my communication with a PLC system. The application worked perfectly under LabView 2011. After the update to LabView2012, I got an error message that the HDL Code generation failed. After that I've updated also the Software NI Profibus CRio in Version 1.3, but this n ' t´t solve the problem. The next step was to use the example of project code "CS_cRIO-PB_DP-MasterExample" which was delivered with the new NI CRio Profibus software. Even with this code example, the problem still exists. For detailed information on the configuration and the error message please refer to the screenshot. Any help or idea would be appreciated.

    Hi Jürgen,

I looked inside and could reproduce this error. Somehow the compiler with LV 2012 has problems with the coded 8.5.1 Subvi LV. Please use the attached VI and copy it to the following location. (\\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\vi.lib\addons\Comsoft.lib\cRIO PB)

Before do you it please close your LabVIEW.

    Then try to compile again.

Let me know if it still does not. We are currently working on a new installer that will correct this problem.

  • Generation of PWM in FPGA pulses with nano seconds

    Hi guys,.

    I work with myRIO FPGA.

I have seen a few examples to generate PWM pulses in the FPGA target with the help of timed structures. Timed structures can contain the frame in the sequence structure flat with time control less than 1 micro second (1 MHz).

But I want to generate impulses PWM digital pins in hundreds of nano seconds.

I saw datasheet of myRIO - 1900. It can generate a frequency up to 40 MHz.

I need the pulses on the order of 10 MHz.

Can someone help me how to generate pulses on the order of 10 MHz PWM?

    Hi fires,

the FPGA can use "ticks" aka clock pulses for delays.

As your impulses are of the order of 4 ticks, you could use simple statements waiting!

  • generation of reports for the FPGA VI

    Hello..

I want to include the number of resources used by FPGA (LUTs, slices, blockrams etc) in my report generation.

Time the build completed, a window showing these resources will occur. But, how can I add this report compilation in my generation of report...

    Please let me know...

    Thank you

    Prashanth

    Hi Julie

One idea would be to copy the data from the device file Utilization Summary in your report. See this KB for more information and an example of the layout of the file (which is quite complex, sorry) the path in the KB guess you LV FPGA 8.5, if you for example LV 2009 would be the path:

    NIFPGA2009\srvrTmp\localhost\\toplevel_gen_xst.log C:\.

It must be remembered that this file only contains information on the latest compilation so you will only be able to get the info from this compilation, but that should be enough, if I understand your intent.

  • Bad generation of DDL for indexes primary key partitioned - lost partitions

    Hello

In our design of the database, we want to divide some tables and their indexes. The partition type is hash indexes must be local, also divided No problem affecting storage of the table partitions. Also no aucun probleme problem with the index partitions, not included the primary key.

Our problem appears in the generation of DDL: partitions of tables and indexes are generated fine except the primary partitions it shows key - phrase-'alter table' primary key as if it was not partitioned.

Apparently indexes primary keys must be generated as the other indices, is it not?

    Thanks in advance,

    Bernat Fabregat

    Published by: Berni 11/29/2010 12:37

    Hello Bernat,

for local partitioning, you need to create indexes separated on column PK (if you do not already). Set partitioning for this index, and then in the dialog box for the primary key in the physical model:
    (1) in the 'Général' tab, clause "with the help of the index' - select 'by the name of the index.
    (2) in tab 'using Index' - 'Existing Index' drop-down list box - select defined index.

Global partitioning can be created directly on the primary key in the physical model.

  • Is there a way to automate the generation of documentation for a function panel?

We have a few DLL projects that contain files of the Panel (.fp) function.  Bind us a help to the DLL file so that we can call the help file when using TestStand.  As part of the construction, we must manually run the Options-> generating Documentation-> HTML.  Then load us the .hhp file in the Microsoft HTML Help Workshop tool and select the file-> compilation to generate a .chm file.  Then in LabWindows/CVI, we can build our DLL with links to the help .chm file.

Everyone was able to automate this?  It seems that it would be convenient generate the help file in the section actions before generation steps to build the project.

Note: this slightly more complicated process of the generation of the .chm file replaces the former method of generation of a .hlp file in LabWindows/CVI.

Yes, you can use the CVI ActiveX GenHtmlHelpFromFPFile function to perform the same operation by program. If you are not familiar with the CVI ActiveX interface, you can find more about this in the CVI online help by going to the using LabWindow/CVI > access the Interface of Server ActiveX LabWindows/CVI help topic.

  • can someone provide me with processes of generation and deployment for bb os 6

If possible common build process for all blackberry platforms. The docs that are provided by blackberry drove me crazy. Those who are really help less.

Please provide me the details as soon as possible

If you are targeting WebWorks for BBOS 5 - 7.x, Tablet OS and WebWorks 1.0 for BB10, you can do it with an Ant Build script that allows you to build and deploy by modifying and running the script. The Setup is pretty painless, but there is a bit of a learning curve. However, she should really improve your speed by producing new construction to test.

    See the script here: https://github.com/timwindsor/BB10-WebWorks-Community-Samples/tree/master/Ant-Build-Script

There is a link to a video that shows how to set up as well.

This script does not work with the new WebWorks 2.x for BB10 if, but if you are targeting the old platforms, WebWorks 1.0 is more compatible anyway.

  • Generation of package for synchronization to other servers of vRO.

I would like to develop a workflow script or an action to create a new Package and have this script adds workflows, configurations, and what I said in this package.  I have a multi-developer project that will have several 'packages' each with a large number of workflow, actions and configurations that can change often.  Manage a package manually, seems like it would be subject to human error and automation seems the best approach here.

I learned how to use scripts to enumerate through categories of workflow (IE, files) to enter all workflows associated with a project. But I can't seem to locate all possible ways to create a new package and add items to it. the new package() constructor can be called, assigned name but no package is actually created in vRO and there is no method. documented save().

I found there are a large number of undocumented ways to access the information within a workflow script, and I was hoping that someone had a way to do this.  If it is not possible via the script, it is possible via a plugin? I have not learned the development of a plugin yet but would be willing to if it is necessary to interact with the packages.

Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

There is currently no outside the zone of REST or API script to create/change of packages, except for importing a package. There is a feature request to add REST API for package operations, so I guess that the next version of vRO (7.1) will provide this API.

It is possible to implement a plug-in and expose these operations of package as scripts objects/methods, but the code of the plugin will need to access the vRO internal/private API. Certainly doable, but internal access to these APIs is not officially supported and there is no guarantee that these APIs change in future versions.

  • New generation of PCs for the Assembly of 4 K - is it enough?

I just set up a new PC based on recommendations from a friend, looking for what could be improved and more importantly how best manage the cache of media:

X 99 deluxe Motherboard with slot M2 and is here with an extra PCI adapter for a second.

    1 x Samsung SSD 512 GB 840

    1 x ADATA 480 GB SSD

    2 x Samsung 512 GB 950 Pro NVME Drives

64GB DDR4 RAM - can find times if needed

Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 12 Core CPU (bought on eBay, this thing is great)

2 x 4 TB 7200 RPM internal drives - projects underway and data

Several external HARD drive for backups, no editing is done from their

1 x Galax Nvidia 960 Exoc 2 GB 1367 Mhz Boost clock (I'm sure maybe it's my weakest to date)

    Thermaltake suppressor F31 case

I got this up and running of this weekend and made a few small 4K editing so far.  It handles quite well, it continues to lag a bit on easy mounting.

So basically my setup is as follows: a Samsung 950 Pro as the disk OS - not sure if I see a lot of difference in time starting or loading from an ordinary SSD yet of applications. Speed tests show 2500 read and about 1500 writing.

The other Pro 950 came today and would be used just to store files video raw for ongoing projects. After reading through this forum a bit I am now begins to question where my media cache files should go.  Other 480 GB and 512 GB SSD is currently set up for a film of current project, but it is empty and could possibly be used for a media cache, so I erase it when the projects are carried out and it gets closer to full.  That would prevent certain bottlenecking? Currently one of the big 4 TB HARD drive is configured for file cache. I never thought to those who are the bottleneck.

Is there something else I could try or upgrade? Two Samsung 950 Pro cards are better suited to other uses?  My video card should be good enough. I'm not super heavy editing or effects.  I am open to any suggestions or criticism.  The friend who helped me build this wasn't super familiar with Premiere Pro, or video editing needs, but knows computers and games needs.

    Thank you!

Ah, the copy cat the original fractal design case thermaltake. that was quite the scandal and involved many cases copied mfg business. I never heard tell if the guy at thermaltake was fired for it or not.

Anyway, your building looks like its mainly on the right track, but may need some adjustments. the 960 gtx is a bit strong, but your version is the 2 GB model. 4 GB is recommended for 4 k frame buffering, and the gtx 970 for a little more money would have been a better choice. Some people who use very intensive gpu plug-ins or separate programs even go for the ti-980, but it depends on each persons projects and needs.

the storage configuration may be the biggest variable. the OS/apps drive didn't need more of an ssd sata, not the pcie/m.2 samsung 950. the samsung 950 is fast enough to hold everything, os/apps/cache/media/projects/export as a single disc, but the limitation comes from the ability. many people need more than 512 GB. Here are some examples of what you may do so below.

    Disc 1: Samsung 512 GB Pro 950 - os/applications

Disc 2: Samsung 512 GB 950 Pro - cache, media, projects, export

    or more commonly seen here

    Disc 1: Samsung 512GB SSD 840 - os/applications

    Disc 2: 2 x Samsung 512 GB Pro 950 - cache, media, projects, export

(optional, if you just want to use the drive of a - Data or 1 TB of capacity is not sufficient for cache too, then use the ssd a - Data for cache.)

or if you need more space than 1 TB for the media so something like that

    Disc 1: Samsung 512GB SSD 840 - os/applications

    Disc 2: ADATA 480 GB SSD - cache/export

(the samsung 950 could also be used for os/apps/cache/project)

Disc 3 2 x 4 TB 7200 RPM - media/projects (only media if you use the samsung 950 for project files)

2xsamsung 950 for raid 0 should be done with windows disk management, or any other software raid. You can also choose to leave separate units and manually / projects of media across the two disks. motherboards next gen will supposedly supported raid with disks of m2, but currently mbd raid is limited to the sata drives. 2 4 tb hard drive could be done with raid 0 of the motherboard, and is generally better than the windows raid. some opt for raid windows, because his so-called if the BDM has failed, he could be transferred to another computer. where mbd raid usually isn't the transfer. However, any raid should have several backups, so it shouldn't be a big problem.

  • AIA FP 11.1.1.3 - generation Deployment Plan for migration Dev test

    Hi all

Can you post what follows the point of view of Test deployment of Dev. We have almost completed the development of an interface using AIA 11 g and are moving from one instnace to another interface, and any help is appreciated.

Let us take purchase order integration between a legacy application and the purchase of the Oracle File adapter-> ABC-> EBS applicant-> supplier ABC-> DB adapter, which is a classic flow.

    1. the functional person defines a project in the Workbench of Life Cycle of the project
    2. functional decomposition made through business purchase stopped and components of the Service Solution task for each composite in the classical stream
    3. the ABCSs are created by linking the components of Solution of the corresponding Service of the FI using the constructor function. These composite.xmls will have the annotation filled by the manufacturer of the Service. It is normal that these composites have concrete wsdls during the development phase, but the concreate those need to be replaced to abstract before plans geenrating of deployment.
    4. the EBS is not changed, it will be pre-filled annotations and there is no need to add any annoations their
    5. the File adapter and adapters (adapters Transport?) DB must be annotated based on the developer's guide
    6. the XSD and wsdl go in the mds based using the provided scripts. All other common components can also be placed in MDS.
    7. Once done development, harvest composites using the Harvester of the AIA.
    8. after the harvest, the AIA LCW, generate the BOM. If we harvest all the composite 5 for the task together and do generate BOM, it captures all composites? Or they capture only the composite created with the constructor for Service? Or add the compistes manually to the task of company?
    9. add content harvested by changing the Nomenclature-> option "search and add existing composites. We could not find the option "Add harvested Composite" everything right by clicking on the business task.
    10. once all composites harvested have been added to the BOM, export in XML format
11 using the Nomenclature, generate the DeploymentPlan. The deployment plan will be references to the WSDL and XSD files in MDS
12 using the deployment Plan and assistance, deploy the composite in a new instanec.

These are the questions I have,
    1 as above is correct?
    2. given that the MDS is in database Dev, a sine qua non to AID seems to be the deployment of xsd and WSDL in the Test MDS schema. Can you please post?
    3. what happens to the XSL files, bpels, mplans etc? How they move from one instance to another?

    Kind regards
    Anish

    Hi Anish,

Yes, you need to ftp the project on the server where you could carry out the plan of deployment and the compositedir.

should point to this ftped directory.
