  Please proceed to a repair of the OS installation.  In case of failure, please make sure that you back up your data to an external location before performing the repair.  Here are the steps to proceed with the repair.

  To start the repair facility, load Windows 7 and make sure that you are connected to an administrator account. Then, insert the Windows 7 DVD and run the file setup.exe from the menu autoplay:

They went through my laptop a few times & they can't even solve the problem. However, they told me I have corrupted files in my system that allow me to make updates or reinstall my windows to factory settings (Yes, I thought)

  So my question is... How can I solve this problem? None...

  The dump file will be created in c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to view the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select view advanced settings and check that the box "display files and folders" and 'Hide protected operating system files' are not checked.   If the upgrade process sticks or does not respond to 99%, it is better to wait and do nothing for 5 to 6 hours. If there is still no progress to close the Wizard Windows 10 upgrade, restart the computer and try to upgrade following the tips detailed below.

  You are using an ethernet cable or wireless to connect your computer to the router? Wired ethernet is faster and more reliable for large downloads. An ethernet cable is a low-cost purchase.

  Disable your anti-virus software so that the upgrade.
