Go live - invited to provide details to create a "record."

I don't know where to post this question, so please forgive me if I chose the wrong forum.

I have a client who has an old site with their own website hosting and email hosting.

They want to continue to use their current by email once we go live with BC.

I see that in the admin of BC under "Site", I can add an MX record to point to their own mail server, but their techo all tell me their configuration is bound in the field and if Adobe now manages the DNS, then it will prevent their existing emails from work. Perform a whois on their domain that I see that their current configuration is hosted by Colo4.

So instead of configure DNS with Adobe they have asked me to provide details to create a record of their side to point to the new site of BC.

Is this possible and if so where can I find the details to provide them?

Hello

Recording media pointing only web traffic for the domain on the site of BC.

You do not configure the areas in British Colombia to be in British Colombia.

Configure the external domain configuration and provide to the person who manages your domain name with the registration information.

The two options are explained here:

Add a domain name to your site by using an external DNS service

    Hello

    If you want to do your job the way you want I suggest the creation of a joint table between

    trans_amt

    trans_type

    called trans_amt_type , why do we not have to think about that... ?

    Since it is a bad db design. It is supposed to rely on different types of Trans Table as a look up table where you can set different than necessary trans at all times.

    Now, let's start on the VALIDATION KEY or insertion after Trigger (how economy and then duplicate record is as follows:)

    You can use the following logic:

    INSERT INTO table1 (column1..), SELECT col1... FROM table2 WHERE vc_amt > 0 and rs_amt_no _no = 0 and ct_amt_no = 0;

    And as for the conditions of rest...

    or

    INSERT INTO trans_amt_type (col1, col2,vc_amt_no, trans_type,col4, ...)
    values (select col1, col2 from

    (select col1, col2,:vc_amt_no,'V', col4 rn rownum

    from trans_amt where --relation FK & PK---) ;

    Amatu Allah.

  • Pass parameters to details AdvancedTable using master record Id

    Hello

    I have a master page in detail and I would like to include a button that is available only in sections of detail of the main recording accompanying detailed information that will pass the ID of the master record.  However, when I include this parameter in the parameters of action in the form ${oa.xxCustomVO1.Id} I do not get the value of the id of the master record associated with the Details section.  Instead, I get the master record id of the last shot master record.

    I know that if I add this button (or link) to record main itself it'll pass the id waited when you press.  And I know that the details area has areas related to the main record, such as a text field.  Is there a way to get the button in the details area to associate also with the main record?

    Thank you

    We can set the property INSERT_ALLOWED to a block using SET_BLOCK_PROPERTYrunning.

    And to set it to insertable, write,

    My question how to create a record with a cursor for loop.

    While I'm generating my if statement elsif only some of my files are not completely recovered, so I generate using the cursor for loop pls tell how to do

    My code is

    declare
    t_in dail_att.intime%type;
    t_out dail_att.intime%type;
    t_code dail_att.barcode%type;
    dail_att.attend_date%type V_DATE;

    cursor cur_test is
    Select respondent, outtime, barcode, dail_att attend_date;
    -in t_in, t_out, t_code, dail_att V_DATE;

    Start

    go_block ('TEST_SRI');
    PREMIER_ENREGISTREMENT;
    LOOP

    If: bartime between 0145 and then 0630
    Update dail_att set = outtime: bartime where barcode =: bar code
    and ATTEND_DATE =: BARDATE-1 and intimate are zero and outtime is not null;

    elsif: bartime between 0630 and 0900 or: bartime between 1130 and 1230 or
    : bartime between 1700 and 1800 and t_in is null then

    insert into dail_att(barcode,intime,attend_date)
    values(:Barcode,:Bartime,:bardate);

    elsif: bartime > 1645 and t_in is not null and t_out is null then
    Update dail_att set = outtime: bartime where barcode =: bar code
    and ATTEND_DATE =: BARDATE and respondent are not null and outtime has the value null.
    on the other

    Update dail_att set = outtime: bartime where barcode =: bar code
    and ATTEND_DATE =: BARDATE and respondent are not null and outtime has the value null.

    end if;
    WHEN THE OUTPUT: SYSTEM. LAST_RECORD = "TRUE" OR: BAR CODE IS NULL;
    NEXT_RECORD;
    END LOOP;
    forms_ddl ('commit');
    exception
    while others then
    forms_ddl ('rollback');
    message(SQLERRM|| dbms_error_Text);
    message(SQLERRM|| dbms_error_Text);
    End;

    Pls tell me if I need to create a folder or other...

    You can run a loop throgh query records of Pentecost an implicit cursor (which automatically manages the open cursor, fetch and next record):

      for rec in (select intime,outtime,barcode,attend_date from dail_att; )
      loop

           t_in :=rec.intime;
           t_out :=rec.outtime;
           t_code :=rec.barcode;
           t_date := attend_date;

        /*

             PUT YOUR CODE HERE ... (if ..then... elsif... logic)
             you can avoid setting variables 'cause you can directly use the implicit cursor variables: rec.intime etc.

         */

      end loop;
    END;

    In any case, I suggest you check the where the condition of your block... because if not all data is collected it should be a problem in your application... well, even the cursor (if it is based on the same query) will return less data than expected.

  • How can I make the popup with empty fields and create new record?

    I would use a popup create new record.
    I created an af:popup drag and drop a data control VO in jsff. Then, I created a button and place an af:showPopupBehavior. I was able to pop-up window by clicking on the button.
    However, the window filled with information from the record 1. and when I select a record in the table and click on the popup, the popup is filled with this record.
    How can I make the popup with empty fields and create a new record by recording the popup?
    Thank you

    Hello

    You must call the CreateInsert for the underlying ViewObject operation when opening the popup because it does not allow to clear the input field, you must have a new record created

  • Is it possible to disable the "edit layout" link on the Details page for the record

    Is it possible to disable the "edit layout" link on the Details page for the record? Not home pages, I know there is a switch for that, but I thought that it was one for the detail pages?

    I want to disable what I don't want users who record their own layouts, they stick to the related sections defined in the default layout. The problem is that if they want to have access to some lists associated with when the opportunity is of a certain type, but NOT other types. If they saved the page layout (using the "Change layout" link) and change the record type, they will see the related provisions that were set to "Not available" in the default layout (IE step 4) for this 'type '.

    Robbo, for now it is not possible to disable the page layout to change the Registration Details page.

    Try saving a copy of contacts and emails in windows live to get the error can not create .csv file any help appreciated.

    First create new folders to the location where you want it on a local hard drive. Then use the Browse button in the Export Wizard to navigate to the files you created. Once the export is complete, copy the files to their final destination.

    Hi guru - it will be really useful, if so can provide a script that will get details of concurrent applications that went beyond the avg time of execution.

    Thank you

    Are you after something like this? Last column shows the average too.

  • Detailed form Master in Apex - creating main records and details at the same time

    I m trying to create a master form / retail.
    The master is a simple standard form and below on the same page there is a tabular presentation containing the details.

    I am facing a problem when you try to save a new record from the master at the same time with new details.
    If I create a new record of the master and at the same time create detail records for this master (on the same page), when I submit that the foreign key of the details field is not filled in. So only one master record gets inserted into the table and record line is not inserted.

    When I have everything first create a master without a detail and edit this master and then add details so everything's allright (since the primary key field is filled out at the time).

    I just need to confirm that whether in the APEX form master detail, can save master and line record at the same time or is it as master must be registered the 1 and then line must be enterd and saved?

    Please let me know, if this functionality can be achieved in the APEX.

    Hello

    There was an error in the process of pl/sql, you referenced f01 (F01. COUNT) in the loop condition and which should have been f03, also you have assigned the wrong field to what should have been P3_DEPARTMENT_ID

    I fixed that. Also, I'm not 100% sure but I think in order to use the table in the column must be of type text or something (and not hidden), but I can't check now because of lack of time.

    A few mistakes during the presentation, but they are still due to constraints on the other fields.

    FOR I IN 1.APEX_APPLICATION. G_F03. COUNTY

    LOOP

    APEX_APPLICATION. G_F03 (I): =: P3_DEPARTMENT_ID;

    END LOOP;
