Gohan javascript in menus

Hello world

When I create a menu in British Colombia, it automatically inserts a reference to javascript files, for example. :

"< script type =" text/javascript"src="/CatalystScripts/Java_DynMenusSelectedCSS.js "> < / script >

I was wondering if it was possible to remove these scripts so that I can refer to my own js?

Would be very grateful for any advice.

Thank you

Normally, when you reference a menu, it would request the contents of the folder /Default//ModuleTemplates/Menu/Default/and you will find that container.html has this JS code.

You can also control which folder you want to use by using the following module attributes:
{module_menu version = '2' Flash= "1491464" moduleTemplateGroup= "Primary"}

Here, /primary/ is used instead of / default /. So duplicate /Default/ folder you can have as many versions of layouts menu as you please.

  • When you try to click on the menus on the USAA, it shows "javascript:;" in the left hand lower corner and the menu do not work in 21 FF. But the menus work in IE 10.

Instead, a box in the lower left corner (where a link address usually show) opens with "javascript:;" If I use IE10, the site works perfectly. I prefer Firefox, so it drives me a little nuts that I have to go for a single site browsers. I have deleted all my cookies, cleared the cache, reset Firefox and start Firefox in safe mode. The Web site still refuses to play nice. All regular links on the site, but in the drop down menus will not.

  • Suddenly cannot enter anything into some empty search fields, drop-down menus does not and javascript popups freeze randomly. WTH?

I noticed a few things randomly does not not on my computer in the last month or two, and I have tried everything I can think to figure out what it is... still have not thought about it yet. Examples - I was on ebay and the tracking number, I clicked on the page 'My ebay' jumped open a javascript window, but then froze the page so I had to close the tab all. Then on Grooveshark, home page comes up, but if I type anything in the search field, I see what I type, but at the same time, I can still see their default search message. If I try to enter something and click search, it gives me just the warning that I wonder if I want to leave the page, he is never looking for. There are a few other times I think that I tried to use a menu drop-down, and they don't always work - they look just like they are which is clicked but nothing shows. Also do not know if it of related or not, but it is worth mentioning: I tried to install Freecorder and even if I tried both the toolbar and just the installation options button, it does not appear to me to use it, and who is with more disabled adblock. Also not positive took my last update of Adobe Flash, even if I downloaded it.

I like adblock, but I have had that for years, and it has never caused a problem or stopped me to see everything I wanted to see. My system was pretty bada * before that, and it's frustrating that all of a sudden I can't go everywhere and do everything I could before. Why he does this, and I can fix it?

Meh... If I had started here rather than try this search at random, I would have fixed the problem weeks ago. I just did a reset of Firefox and tried all the things I mentioned in the op, and everything seems to work fine now. Well well, outside Freecorder, but I can do the work in a different way, I guess. In any case, reset Firefox = solution. Yay!

  • JavaScript Menus appear behind Flash

I create a page with a flash file in a navigation bar with the help of the drop-down menus. The navigation bar has been created in Fireworks and imported. The problem is that drop downs are appearing BEHIND the Flash file so that you do not see them. I've looked everywhere for a solution to this without success. If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful if share you them.

    Kind regards
    Andy

In this case, the solution is:

  • JavaScript does not in FF, but works fine in IE, Chrome, Opera, and Mobile devices

On this page, the menus javascript (two of them) often do not load. If I click on Ctrl + F5, they can load on the 2nd attempt. This Page works fine in IE, Chrome, Opera and mobile browsers, but not in FF. I cleared FF cache by going to options and have also worked with modules and plug-ins to 'ask to activate '. This problem persists...

Javascript menu bars sometimes don't show at all, or sometimes will appear, but have empty menu items (menu options do not show).

    http://www.consultapedia.com/international/international_marketing/intl_mrktg_skill101.htm

I've included a screenshot of how they (don't) appear in FF. Also another screenshot of how they appear in other browsers, or when I click Ctrl + F5 in FF.

Hmm, there is a lot of content added by scripts on this page after a delay.

Firefox has several optimizations to speed up the display of pages in the cache which may malfunction under certain circumstances. For example, display a page using the Back button will not necessarily trigger an "onload" event in the page. This article describes how to work around this problem for web developers: https://developer.mozilla.org/Firefox/Releases/1.5/Using_Firefox_1.5_caching

For end users, it is a difficult problem to solve. A partial solution might be the following:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press return / enter. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste sess and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers and change the value from-1 to 0 (that's a zero).

(Please change not all other parameters similar to 0-sounding or you can disable the ability of Firefox to save/restore your tabs and windows open).

Then reload the page problem and trying sail away and back to see if the inserted content is preserved.

There may be a performance penalty slight for this change, but you probably won't notice it. Firefox will be used in the file cache, it will just go up the page in a slightly different way that often works around this issue.

Does make a difference to you on this site?

  • context menu overlaps the context menus of google apps

Since my update of 32.0.3 whenever I am in a web application, and I right click on the context menu of Firefox now overlaps in the application menu. I already tried making settings for disable and replace the contextual menus javascript is activated. When you restart what is the same thing. This setting on or off, made no difference. I disabled and deleted all the other modules. Cleared caches. I tried to remove Firefox and all the profiles, and then re - install and double check 'disable or replace context menu settings' associates. I installed FF in a new location after removing the FF and all profiles and associated modules. Nothing works. Applications in the browser with context menus are now useless because the lands of context FF on top of each menu menu. It drives me crazy. Will try to downgrade then.

    Hmm, why isn't your job?

The only way I could get the context menu of Firefox to display front menu Google (with dom.event.contextmenu.enabled = true) had to click a second time after the Google menu appeared, or double-click-right the first time.

Autour experimentation, I discovered that I could erase the context menu of Firefox press and release the ALT key. As a temporary workaround works for you?

  • JavaScript advanced options (subject: config)

I know that the JavaScript options are unavailable on the options (in spite of finding a bad decision).
I agree to go to the topic: config and try to solve things here.

My problem is that the "advanced features" are not so clear that the activation of JavaScript in the config.

What I was asking is how to set each of these functions (individually) here:

    http://newspaint.files.WordPress.com/2013/01/howto_firefox_advanced_javascript_settings.PNG?w=630

Any help would be really appreciated.

    The easy way

    Install SettingSanity.

    The hard

Edit the following preferences in about: config.

Move or resize the pop-up windows

    DOM.disable_window_move_resize

    Raise or lower windows

    DOM.disable_window_flip

    Disable or replace context menus

    DOM. Event.ContextMenu.Enabled

I highly recommend that you alter the last setting, because it would prevent websites to use custom menus (for example YouTube HTML5 Player, Outlook, other webmail sites, etc.). If you want to bring up the contextual menu by default on sites which disable or replace, hold down the SHIFT key while you right-click.

  • JavaScript must be enabled when you access certain Web sites, but not on others

When I go to some sites Firefox Web allows Javascript to run. On the other is not what causes not to display menus and site access account to see 0000. I updated the Javascript code to the latest version and went the subject: config to make sure that the toggle Javascript is enabled. I am running Firefox version 26. How do you know that if javascript is enabled for a particular site and how I turn it back on for Web sites where it is turned off.

I finally found the problem. I have a program call Adguard that blocks pop-up windows. When I disable the program sites is displayed correctly. I sent Adguard to see how to adjust their program to fix the problem.

  • Why can I not use Clipboard, copy and paste? instead of a picture, I get javascript

I try to use the clip and paste on a document. I select an image and click on copy. It's not going in the clipart.all I get is the word javascript on the document.

Are copy you the image you are viewing using a right click > copy the Image?

You copy a Web site to another program (such as Word or paint), or in another page in Firefox? There may be special numbers, stick it in an online editor.

Web sites can use scripts to change what happens when you right-click. Sometimes it is used for good, as custom menus, but it can also complicate copies images... If you want to try to disable (all) sites to do this, you can make some changes in the subject: configuration preferences editor. I'll look at the details if you are interested.

  • How can I access the Advanced Javascript settings?

I am aware that, in recent versions of Firefox, the ability to disable Javascript has been deleted. I don't intend to reopen the discussion of that particular decision. But removing this option also removed access to the menu Javascript Advanced settings, which was much more useful than just disable Javascript itself. For example, although rarely, I have disabled Javascript entirely (other than at my own site of debugging), I disabled systematically the ability of Web sites to disable context menus or move and resize popup windows.

Unlike turning off Javascript altogether, these are the settings that provide a positive benefit for the 'ordinary' (non-developer) users. If, say, I want to open a link in a new tab, then the correct way to do this is right-click on it. Sites which disable the right-click degrade the user experience and to allow a way to replace it is a good thing. What is the justification for removing the ability to disable Javascript entirely (and I don't understand, even if I don't agree with him), I see no reason to remove access to these advanced settings.

So my question is, how do I re-enable javascript access produce settings? I don't see any obvious setting for her in: config and simply disable javascript entirely through this method is not what I want to do.

I have a post that lists the three corresponding about: config preferences here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/967108#answer-464407

I use a combination of html, pages css and JavaScript to provide my visitors with drop-down menus.

  • As a web designer, I've used menus xara on a number of sites and they looked fine until this that Firefox 7; now the menus have shifted to the left. Can you tell me a workaround solution? The menus are very well in other browsers. THX.

Some of these sites have used xara menus (which are based on javascript) for years without problems. Because I used Firefox as my browser by default since its first release, so I would have recognized the problem immediately if it was before version 7. Also, I run Firefox on my iMac with Lion; I don't know if the problem of menu-shift is also seen on the Windows machine with the new version of the browser. Well, I hope you can tell me a quick solution I can install on the affected sites.

But if you insist, try this version:

    http://jeffersonscher.com/forumshots/xaramenu_1.js

I have not tried in older versions of Firefox.

    What gives?

    1. Open the Options window (click Firefox, then Options)
    2. Go to the content panel
    3. Click the Advanced button to the right of 'Enable JavaScript'
    4. Select the option "disable or replace context menus".
    5. Click OK to save the settings

For some reason any, since I have updated to version 3.6 of Firefox, JavaScript does not work anymore.

I checked the help files existing who asked me to check the Options in the Tools menu.

  • How do you lock orientation in javascript?

I seemed to have gotten myself in a bit of a pickle and do not know the solution.

I have a small collection of apps that I want to condense into a single application.

I'll put them at the top with two menus, this one works properly in the portrait, one in landscape. I know I can set the orientation in the configuration file, which is what I did at this point. But what I have to do is:

The user based on an option in the main menu, go to menu locked in portrait. Applications that get clicked in this menu must also be locked in portrait mode.

If the user presses the other option in the main menu, they go to a menu located in the landscape. Applications that will click on this menu must be in the landscape.

So basically, I need two applications groups merged, half work in portrait only, the other landscape only. The focus can be locked by javascript program? I hope that it can be... just do not know how.

Hi there, check out orientation.js in this example for WebWorks APIs aimed at locking rotation:
    https://github.com/BlackBerry/BB10-WebWorks-samples/tree/master/orientation

The complete documentation can be found here:
    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/APIs/BlackBerry.app.html#.lockOrientation

Unfortunately HTML5 has no lockOrientation API as part of the standard yet, so you don't have to depend on the implementation of WebWorks for now.
