  Yesterday I upgraded my Macbook pro to El Capitan, my main concern was and is still, the migration to photos from Iphoto, given that my library is 200 GB +. So far, that the migration seemed to work very well, but I worried amb a little overlap.

  In Iphoto, I had all my photos in events and I also made albums selection of photos of these events, I was convinced that the pictures on these albums were not duplications and that Iphoto created somehow links to original photos into events.

  Now that I've migrated to the Photo, so my old albums and my events appear under the same albums category. Therefore, I have the albums I created and another folder called Iphoto events, which is also an album. Does this mean that the photos in the albums I created with Iphoto are duplicated and taking a double space in my SSD? Thank you

  Everything you see in the section Album do not duplicate photos and more storage.

  Photos does not all events, so migration created albums of events as the note for you, how your events had been grouped and named. But all the photos in the folder "iPhoto events" are just standard albums and using the photos already in the library.

  Pictures uses 'moments' to partition the library rather than events.  Each photo that you import will appear in just a moment. You have only the duplicates, if you see the same photo twice in the library, and the second version has a different file name.

  Hi all. I am a very new but experienced programmer for indesign scriping.  I worked through a book and some tutorials and it's coming along pretty good.  I'm also not Javascript pro.

  My project is to analyze some inDesign files that I made as "models" and find I created with the placeholder text file data.  The data can be words or phrases or long sequences of paragraphs of style.  Everything works.  I can even do it without making the active document, which is especially nice because it feels more automated does not open the new document so that the execution of the script.

  However, now I want to do something, I did it with my old system (OpenOffice Writer + Docmosis), which is to place a small group of an icon with a shadow + textbox in some parts of my document.

  Given I have add large amounts of text and manually add pages to it I need to make sure that this box is going to stay with the text, it is associated (in this case, subsection shows of fire).  I don't know if it is a good way to copy that element from another document or create it with a script or what.  My solution has so far been lame.  I create the textFrame, include mounts and graphics that I thought, and then put it in the document with a name (InfoBox) and configured to be invisible.  So, if I met a situation where I want to include it, I do something like:

  Basically I paste a visible copy of the zone information in my main textframe in the appropriate place.  This technique for using app.select, app.cut and app.paste just seems lame. It also means that I make the document the active document, if I can use copy / paste.

  Any suggestions or ideas on how to make this kind of thing more cleanly?

  In my view, there is a better solution that doesn't involve select and cut and paste in a document "active."

  First of all, Let's clarify two things:

  1) we can directly reproduce a PageItem of a document into another document, supposed we specify a valid target (fattening, Page or layer) specifier;

  2) we can directly reproduce a text in a document in another document, supposed specify us a valid text location (reference LocationOption and the text).

  In your case, the problem with PageItem duplication is that you want your block of text (or group) to be injected or embedded within an insertion point (text), which can be done through method 1 above.

  But, as your original document is a kind of library, you probably have the ability to preformat the PageItem source as an anchored object itself. Then the real source object can be its parent (a single anchor that has the element of your page) and you will duplicate this character in the insertion point of destination through method 2.

  Unfortunately, first does not have this capability; After effects she keyframes 'accordion', if you select a group of them and hold down Alt and drag.   I sometimes send jokes or notifications to multiple contacts.  After I mass text them by activating / deactivating iMessage and Group Messages, then I switch on iMessage and Group Messages - will people I sent a mass text message can see phone numbers and the responses of the other?

  Thanks for your post. I understand that you wanted to confirm if a mass message will convert to a group message after activating again Group Messaging. I certainly understand wanting to send a mass text message without launching a group of crazy message where number of all is shared. I'll be more than happy to help clarify.

  I tested on my iPhone, and so my previous knowledge on the messages, I discovered some great information. When you send a mass text with disabled group messaging message, it sends the messages individually and these other people only get a text without your mass SMS numbers. When you have enabled messaging group once again, it won't change the message on their end, and if they say it will for you.

  Have what troubleshooting you tried? Troubleshooting user steps include reboot, reset, restore from backup, restore to factory; tests after each stage.

  If you return in the message after the ignition of the DND, does always show as it is turned on?

  The only one I know is through a third-party application.

  There are a few duplicate programs that are tested as safe with Photos, including PowerPhotos, PhotoSweeper for the pictures and Duplicate Annihilator for Photos - do not use a tested and documented as safe.

• I restored my iPhone 6 from an itunes backup, but my group chat contacts are changed

  So I backed up my iphone on itunes because I went to the apple store to solve a problem I had. After that that they had deleted everything on my phone, I went home and tried to restore it. All went well, all my contacts were saved, my pictures, etc. so I waited so he could complete the synchronization for my laptop. While I was checking my messages, I noticed that many of the cats from group I had, had shared some of my names of friends with other people on my contact list. I also saw that other people who were in the GM had their photo ID, but instead of their name, their phone numbers were posted. I rebooted my phone and hope so that it can be corrected, but it didn't, I also tried to add the people who did not appear in the newsgroup, but I have added to them, the person that they have been replaced by a show! If anyone can help me on how to solve this problem, it would be highly appreciated!

  It seems that you use iCloud to synchronize contacts between devices. On your iPhone, go to settings > iCloud. Disable the Contacts, wait 5 seconds, then turn it back on and check your Messages and Contacts.  I have a link below if you are still having problems:

  Please, please, please bring back the ability to group by app notifications...

  And why Apple consider it an improvement "," to take away our ability to choose how we sort our notifications in the first place? Not happy at all to this subject :-(. Some of us are _a_lot_ notifications, and also be able to group by app notifications means that we can then _clear_ notifications by app, as well (i.e. clear specific _types_ of the notifications at a time), which is VERY useful... With respect, this is a gross oversight on the part of Apple. I'm an ardent loyal fan, very long Apple products, but 'small', absurd decisions like this add up, making it more difficult and more difficult to justify is not something else.
