GV983ET
Hello
I have a dc7800pSFF, p/n GV983ET #ABU, running Windows 7. In my view, that there a motherboard HP OAA8h, with 1 GB of RAM installed.
I want to try my hand at editing the RAW files from my digital SLR 24MP, using Photoshop CS2.
My smart friend suggests that I have 8 GB of RAM on board to deal with this, so I tried to find the specification for the motherboard, to discover:
How many slots memory is available,
What is the maximum memory that can be installed,
and what type of memory is necessary,
so I can see if I can update this machine, instead of buying a new system.
I could not find a specification for the mobo and ends here.
I would be grateful if someone could advise me.
Thank you
Salukiman
Hello:
You can install 4 x 2 GB memory PC2-6400 of your dc7800 SFF (8 GB ttl).
It is the memory that I used in my dc7800 CMT. Order 2 sets of these 8 GB.
