  Wondering if someone could help to "classify" these approaches for synchronization.

  -TCXO with shared references/PPS (i.e. - cable MIMO or OctoClock)

  The 'standard' TCXO models require extra things (MIMO or OctoClock or external sources) to phase-locking and synchronize the time.

  The OCXO allows precise... but we don't know how this has an effect on phase coherence (and how long a time).  Presumably, you would still need something like a PPS both synchronize?

  With disciplined GPS devices, are you basically get consistency and synchronization time of phase since the GPS rather than external signal 'stuff '?  Or are there cases where you still need something like cable MIMO or OctoClock for more nail timing and synchronization?

  Thank you very much for the information! I leaned more in detail in this issue, and much of your question depends on your hardware configuration and system. JamesB, awesome post! This is great information.  Add to that, for our GPS USRPS (NI USRP 293 x) Unfortunately, you can not use the Ref entries in, this split on the external clock won't be an option on this material. In this context, option (c) will be probably the easiest because it is exactly how the work of our USRP. Do you use a USRP NOR? If Yes, and you try to sync up to 8 of these USRP together, GPS could be the only real option.

  The extent of the direct wire vs precision GPS, direct wire is more accurate if you are using an external clock, which is more accurate than the clock on board and if you use a USRP which can use an external reference clock

  The NI USRP 2930 and 2932 both of OCXO who only are more accurate, but there is no way to retrieve the source of 10 MHz to another device, with the exception of a MIMO cable which is not good to use for 2 devices. This is why the direct wiring method exists only for specific scenarios:

  1. the use of MIMO cable for up to 2 devices

  2. using an external clock, and a separator.

  However, the internal OXCO does not you nothing good for the device plus two synchronization. With the help of a GPS antenna, clock discipline and a clear view of the sky will let each USRP use it of own OXCO and still be synchronized. It's not just GPS, it is using GPS information to adjust the already great time reference OCXO, which required each device to set its own clock. The following document shows the specifications for a USRP without a GPS antenna (just the precision OXCO) vs the OCXO accuracy in conjunction with the GPS disciplined in the section 4 (synchronization with GPS Disciplined oscillators on NI USRP 293 x):

• No option for the email address for the import

  I import the list of 'people' to outlook.com in a csv file. When I get the choice to realign the fields of address book to import data record, there is no option for 'email address' in the record to bind to data. Everything what is important is the name and surname of the person (which I chose) but I want their email also. Have I missed something or if the e-mail option has been deleted for some reason any?

  OK, I created a file OutlookContacts.csv in my Hotmail account and haven't tried to import as usual and found, like you, there is no e-mail address in the "Record of import data" column. So, I open the csv file in a csv Editor (CSVed) and found that the e-mail address is in the column 48 of 56 column file. I deleted all the unnecessary columns to make a file of 16 columns. According to realign the records from top to bottom and checking the boxes for the areas concerned, the new csv file imported perfectly.

  I guess that TB has a limit on the number of columns that are read during the import.

  Hi there, this is not necessarily a problem, but I was wondering if you could awnswer this. I recently adding some new contacts to my contact list, who are both using android phones is said by the way and noticed that options for these contacts, such as: Send Message, share contact, add to Favorites, block this caller, as well as the options of call and text, are all displayed in blue text. I could have sworn at a certain point my contact options were displayed in green text for users of android and blue text only if this contact was using an iPhone. So I looked through my contacts, I needed to update some of my contacts anyway information and discovered that even the options of contact for non-iPhone users were posted in a blue text. I know that iMessage is always displayed in blue, and that regular messages always appear green, it is always the case when I text someone. I know that's really not a big deal, but still when I really could have sworn that the colors are different depending on whether my contacts using iPhones or not. Don't know if a blue font for the selection of these options would have is part of an update or not, or if it was always supposed to be the appearance of these options.   Looks like your current profile does not work correctly.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

  Just picked up one new Satellite S70T-A-016. Everything worked very well last night and I had a wireless connectivity, but now, I have no option for a wireless connection. I pressed the button F 12, and the only message I get is ' airplane Mode on / off. I don't know if I pushed inadvertently something I shouldn't or not. Have connected by cable to Toshiba and updated the atheron wireless LAN and realtek drivers but still nothing. Troubleshooting only tells me to plug an Ethernet cable.

  Usually, if you turn off the airplane mode WIFI should work.
  Check please follow option: move the mouse to the lower right corner and when you see options on the right, click settings. You will see the option for the WLAN. Click it and you will see the options networks. Make sure that airplane mode is DISABLED and Wi - Fi mode.

  You don't need to reinstall drivers. Laptop is preinstalled with all the necessary things and the reason for not working WLAN are bad options I think.
