Have I not Microsoft Data Access Components 2.1 or above on my computer?

I tried to download a Blackberry user Tools CD. Place the CD in the drive... An error message came up saying that I had to install Microsoft Data Access Components 2.1 or more.  How will I know if it is already on my computer... or if I have to install it?

Don't have never had this problem before when you place a disc/program/CD in the drive.

Help!

Thanks, Lawana

Hi Lawana,

You can use the components Checker tool to check the version of Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) installed on your computer.

How to check the version of MDAC?

Hope the helps of information.

How can I get the Replicator hp z book with win 7 pro for usb drives work with external hard drives or external flash drives?

I have so far done the following:

    (1) run administrative guest with sfc/scannow and it found no violations of integrity

    (2) ran microsoft fixit will be all available Parameters which automatically checked and corrected each book workstation z mobile http://support.microsoft.com/mats/windows_file_and_folder_diag/

    (3) contacted HP support

    (4) checked for malware using microsoft security essentials, malwarebytes and spybot on each mobile workstation

    (5) updated drivers using HP support assistant on each computer

    (6) windows update the device HP support assistant on each computer

How do two new computers with win 7 pro can be connected to external drives that allow to view the files as they do with win xp and win 8 automatically?

How can I access my files on the external hard disk and flash the mobile workstation book z?

The specifications for the mobile workstation of zbook are:

Operating system: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Service Pack 1

Microprocessor: Intel core i7-4800MQ CPU @ 2.7 GHz

Moemory system: 16 GB of memory on 2 1600 MHz dimm

Graphics device 1: Nvidia Quadro K3100M

Graphics device 2: Intel HD 4600 graphics card

Hard drive 1: SCSI Disk Device

    C: 683.42 (613,62 free go-go)

    D: 12.21 GB (1,3 GB free)

    E: 1.99 GB (1.97 GB free)

The hard drive is a seagate 1 TB drive that works very well

The flash drive is a 1 GB drive which works very well

    This problem has been resolved.

Right-click all methods have not access external external hard drives and flash drives.

Sharing, permissions, ownership, administrative changes, all method all failed.

This problem has been resolved by higher HP product support.  Other levels of support were not able to diagnose the problem or fix.

The problem has been resolved by:

    (1) determine that he was not a NTFS problem

    (2) using the msconfig to isolate a single service

When the unique service has been disabled the files on any external drives have been available.

The service of the problem was the HP Client Security.

This HP Client Security in its default value is set to deny access.

Then right-click on the drive and change the permissions, ownership, to administrators, using everyone etc. will fail because they are all trumped by the HP Client Security that is set by default to deny access.

When that client security is changed the drives become available.  It is not information about this when using the computer and this can be learned by trial and error.

I hope this helps all those who have z book 17 mobile workstations or HP computers that are equipped with client security.

  • Oracle Data Access components (ODAC) 12 c version 3

Hello. I understand that ODAC 12 c Release 3 for Windows downloads offers / includes the following components: Oracle Data Provider for .NET. Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio. Oracle for ASP.NET providers; and .NET stored procedures. Could someone tell me if the Oracle 12 c of database client includes the ODAC 12 Setup? I found the 12 c ODAC download at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/dotnet/downloads/index.html . However, your answer will help me determine if my business must approve a second firmware (i.e., ODAC). Customer of Oracle Database 12 c has already been approved for use in my organization. Any idea is appreciated, thanks!

ODAC 12 c R3 has a component more than the Oracle DB 12 c. It's the Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio. If you need this feature, you must download the ODAC.

For a standard version and functionality, ODAC 12 c R3 is based on Oracle DB 12.1.0.2 (the first group of patches of 12,1). Moreover, ODP.NET includes several additional features not available in DB 12.1.0.2 customer. You can find these documented in the new section of the last ODP.NET doc.

  • What data access component download Oracle 64-bit should I use?

    Hello

I have Visual Studio 2013 and I would use the latest data access components Oracle with Entity Framework 6.  There are three 64-bit downloads.  What one do need me?

    • ODP.NET_Managed121020.zip
    • ODAC121021Xcopy_x64.zip
    • ODAC121021_x64.zip

There is a notice if you want to use DTC Entity Framework features, then the 32-bit Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio download is necessary. Okay, I like to use the design-time features, but does that mean I can use the 64-bit versions?

    Thank you

    Peter

If you use Visual Studio data designers (first model EF or first database, for example) or the Configuration Wizard of TableAdapter, you must install Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio, which is 32-bit. This "ODTwithODAC" package includes both the unmanaged driver 32 bit as the ODP.NET ODP.NET, successful pilot.

So, the first thing you need to decide is if you use ODP.NET, managed driver or ODP.NET, pilot managed. If you choose to use the successful pilot, or the driver for 32-bit unmanaged (at least during development) you can stop here, you have no need of anything else. Note that the successful pilot lacks a few features that the unmanaged driver has. On the other hand, the successful pilot is much easier to deploy.

If you want to target the ODP.NET 64 - bit unmanaged pilot at design time, you also need to install a 64 bit choice.  At the time of the design, for the sake of simplicity, I would just use the version of installer of Oracle based, not the version of Xcopy. Note that your installation of 32-bit and 64-bit facilities cannot reside in the same Oracle home (directory).

Versions of Xcopy are there to facilitate the deployment with pilot unmanaged. It allows you to integrate the pilot unmanaged with your application.

Coming shortly is the version of the successful pilot Nuget. However, this gets you any time tools design and use so it is limited to the work "coding only" or deployment scenarios.

update to windows 8 8.1 will affect the data in the laptop...

    @swati90

If you upgrade from the Microsoft Store, your applications, data office and personal will not be deleted.

If you're updating with an ISO will always give you the opportunity to register personal files.

Error on prudence, I like so I will say that it is not a bad idea to back up important data to an external drive before the upgrade.

  • Receives the following message after opening a downloaded game: 'Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

    Hello!
So I'm at the end of my rope with this one... it lasts for months, and I keep revisitng every two weeks to try and fix that and every time to be completely frustrated.  I found this forum tonight, so here goes...

We downloaded a few games on the HP Games Web site.  We download them and everything works fine.  Then, we will open the games and this pop up error message:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

These games used to run fine, and I have no idea why they now have problems.  We have a Vista operating system, 1 account who is the administrator, the Parental control is disabled (or if we believe).

If anyone can please help it would be much appreciated!  We have a monthly membership to this site of game and continue to accumulate credits, but may not use it.  It makes us crazy!

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello Heathie,

Thank you for posting.  It seems that the program is no longer on your computer.  This can happen if the game files are deleted, but the game itself has not been uninstalled correctly.  I recommend you to download the game again to a location on your computer where you can easily find and install it.  This should fix the problem.

Please let me know if this helps you.

    Hi Reaper14,

    ·         You can open other files very well?

If you are unable to open a .exe file, refer to the following article.
