Have two XP installation diskettes. How can I know who is 32-bit or 64-bit?

I have two

Right now I'm under XP-64 bit. I want to change to XP 32-bit.

One of my discs said "Microsoft Office XP Small Business" and the product key begins with G364J-xxxx.

Other discs said "Microsoft Office XP - Version 2002 - Service pack 1", but I don't see a title on the back saying product key only a heap of number beginning with 08 p 472 - U.S.-xxxx. I have not watched yet for the other stuff for XP so the product key that might be on something other int his messy desk.

Any ideas?

Sorry to be such a dufus. Finally, I realized that the disk Microsoft Office XP Small Business is an OFFICE with Word, Excel, etc. about it. It is NOT a disc of the operating system. Sorry for any problems this has caused.

I have two Apple ID. How can I get rid of one?

    Hello Terri108,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand your message that you have two Apple ID and want to get rid of one. First of all, any purchase that you have made with your ID first Apple won't be available on the second Apple ID and vice versa. If you only want to use an Apple ID, you must choose them and then purchase and download all the apps the other Apple ID that you choose.

You could also do for the two the same Apple ID passwords. In this way all the apps you have downloaded to your devices can be updated, and you do not have to remember to separate the 2 passwords.

  • Migration of PC now I have two user accounts.  How can I transfer everything to a user account

I've migrated from PC to iMac, and now I have two user accounts.  How can I just well mover a user account and then delete the second user account.

A user account is one that you created in the Setup Wizard when you have got a Mac. The second he the user account you migrated your PC. If you used the same username for both, then you can simply copy the files from one to the other. If the user names are different, then see: transfer of files from one user to another account.

  • I have two apple ID.  How can I change one to match each other

My id from Apple iTunes on my iPhone 5 s is not in the format of the email.  The same apple ID in the e-mail format is used on my iMac and iTunes on the iMac.    How can I change the apple on the iPhone ID to match the id on my iMac.

You can not have two accounts with the same primary e-mail address, each account must have a unique id (and accounts cannot be merged, content remain tied to the account that has downloaded).

If you want to disconnect an account on your phone and then tap on it in settings > iTunes & App Store and tap "logout" on the context menu, and you can then sign in with a different account

(If this account is a former AOL user name account so that they no longer exist, support for them is completed at the end of March last year).

  • Why I have a FAT32 partition and how can I know what is on it?

I tried to free up space on my hard drive and I went to disk management and discovered that I have a FAT32 partition.  This partition has a capacity of 2.9 GB and is currently greater than 90% full.  How can I find on which is stored here?  Is there a reason that this partition is necessary?  I've certainly not implemented (at least not on purpose).   I use Windows XP.

    Thank you!

The best thing to do would be to consult your computer's documentation and see if there's information to the service partition.

You can watch the partition with disk editing tools such as Acronis Disk Director or you can use a partition simple editing tool like PtEdit32 from Symantec to change the partition type and you can then watch the partition with Windows Explorer.

Make a note of the type of partition until you change it so that you can then set it back as it was.  The partition is probably a hidden type 1 c, if you want to change for a type of 0C to view it.  A reboot is required for Windows see and mount the partition to make it available to Windows Explorer or disk management tool.

    WARNING!

Slippery fingers or user errors when you use the drive or the partition, editing tools can lead to the loss of all data on the disk!  To aid PtEdit32 is quite easy and simple, but it requires a little knowledge and understanding of (or a willingness to learn) how partitions are organized and identified.  You can download PtEdit32 from the Symantec FTP server, which is easy to find with a search on the net: http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oG7mbsbOxMsWcBUlZXNyoA?p=ftp.symantec.com+ptedit32&fr2=sb-top&fr=yfp-t-501

You can look, but don't delete or modify files inside the service partition, if you do the restore process may fail when you most need!

  • Reboot crashes in Win7, have tested all the hardware, how can I know what is happening?

    Hello
I had an event going on with my pc for the last month and really at a loss to understand.  My system is built auto, a motherboard Asus P5b Deluxe with an Intel E5700 3.0 ghz Dual core cpu, disk SATA 1 250 gig than C: and a 250 gig disk storage media, a DVDRW SATA and IDE DVD/CD-RW IDE, 2 x 2 GB 667 Kingston memory dual channel and a PNY GeForce 210 video card. About a month back, the PC would crash to reboot and then go into a loop of reboot of power, showing the version of Geforce and a POST beep, then restart again the same thing over and over again. Sometimes I also hear alarm overheating of the CPU, but it was never overclocked. I replaced the power supply, inmates of each party, including the central unit (with a 2.4) and tested all the ram and the disk on another system. I deleted the c drive and installed Windows 7 Profession, service pack 1 64-bit (I had been running Win7 pro 32-bit since August of the year without problem) and I got about 1 week of trouble-free operation, but now it's happening again. Sometimes I get an operating day, today is only an hour or two, even if it seems now stable without all running applications. The PC is returned in the loop of reboot a few times, but after about 6 loops seems to recover. I have updated the drivers for the video card and that you have flashed the BIOS to the latest version a few times now. Ive looked in the case of newspapers to try to see what it could be, but really happened my level of knowledge. Can anyone give me any direction, what to look for, I could run or test reports I could try to understand this please? I feel that I discarded all hardware problems I can so I'm really only now start to see things like a software problem. Accidents seem to be more frequent in 3D applications, however, 3dsMax and Second Life, well it still restarts just out of nowhere also.
Any advice would be much appreciated
    Thank you!

  • How can I know what is my-bit processor?

I have an old t61 of 2 years with Windows XP downgrade from Vista, with 2.46 ghz intel core 2 duo processor. I had some 64-bit software, but do not know how to determine if it is compatible with my device. If not, can I spend?

To run a program 64 you need a 64 bit OS so you can't run an application 64 on a 32-bit version of Windows. Also your T61 can run a 64 bit version of Windows for Vista x 64 and Windows 7 x 64 should work correctly. It should also work fine with a 64-bit version of Windows XP, but since Lenovo provide drivers for the 64 bit version of XP I recommend not to do. In this case, you might find it a challenge to find all the drivers.

So the answer is Yes your support 64-bit machine, but it takes an OS to run 64-bit 64-bit applications.

Moreover, it seems that you have entered your e-mail address in the location field, so you can change your profile as well as the location contains your location instead of the e-mail address.

  • How can I know who in my PC port is COM1 and COM2?

I did a loopback test earlier and I discovered that the DB 9 pin is COM1, but I don't know which of the other ports is COM2.

    Help is very appreciated.

    -Sergio

The female 25 pin is the port of your printer and pin 15 video. All the these should be documented in the manual of the pc user. It is possible that Com2 is present on the card mother but not connected to the rear panel of the pc. You should be able to find documentation on the motherboard to see if this is true. All what you need is a Ribbon 8 cable pins with a header on one end and one DB9 on the other. In the contrary case, a USB-RS232 converter is a more inexpensive

I bought a laptop with a windows xp pro, I have the serial number, but I don't have the installation disc. How can I know which version I need? SP3 has not worked... at the moment I am testing SP1

The serial number of the computer has nothing to do with the product key for Windows.

What happened when you tried to install Xp with sp3? If you do not have the original for the computer that you use to install Windows?

You can try to contact the manufacturer of the computer who may be able to provide the recovery disc. The disks are usually under $ 20.
