• Apple tv (2nd generation) hbo now

  I have a 2nd generation apple tv (6.2.1) and I'm having problems to display TV on HBONOW programs.

  I can see movies without problem, but try to view TV shows causes the HBONOW app down. (sometimes, he appears a loop; e.g. spinning wheel)

  I have contacted HBONOW support and went through all their troubleshooting procedures. I was informed by them that the problem is with the apple tv (point 6.2.1) software.

  Apple tv OS 6.2.1 was the last update from Apple for ATV 2 and Apple supports more unit shortly after.

  (1) it is perhaps true, HBO is decent with troubleshooting.

  (2) Apple has stopped support for this purpose the issue is and will always be with HBO. Even if Apple suddenly starts to support ATV 2 its still a HBO problem to the extent that Apple is concerned and sketched in their license of USE of the device. HBO is the party who needs to fix their application in accordance with the framework of the 6.2.1 operating system compatibility

  (3) to a system restore restore your Apple TV to its factory - Apple Support settingsto reset the unit with its current operating system there is no way I know personally to downgrade Apple TV.

I had a few minor problems in recent years but have recently subscribed to HBO NOW and the unit will broadcast some programs very well but does not connect to other programs. Get an icon of spinning as it try to connect and notice light on Apple TV out and blink several times and turn back on. What happens here?   It has nothing to do with the extreme router and if it is only with HBO now content so I suspect that the problem is with HBO, have you tried to contact them.

  Assuming that you have subscribed to via iTunes...

  iOS

• Problem with HBO go App on Iphone 6 s

  I am unable to play a video on the HBO Go app.  Instead, I get "error video, operation canceled."  I contacted the support HBO and they said that they were unable to reproduce my problem on their end, and that's why it must be a problem with my phone or apple.  I have an iphone more than 6 s.

  I tried the usual things, restart my phone. delete the app and reinstall, nothing works.  Videos of games apps fine (CBS, ABC, Comedy Central), so this isn't a problem with lack of power or my phone provider wifi.  I am able to read HBO video on my computer, so my internet provider account doesn't seem to be the problem either.

  Any suggestions?

  Also did you watch your content on another WiFi signal? Have you reset your network settings? I have this iPhone even with the same application, and when running on the same iOS 9.3.2,and I do not have the problem you describe, although I have experienced it in the past in a singular event. If none of these work for you move in the right direction to solve this, you can always go so far as to load a new installation of the operating system on your iPhone. I would recommend that you back up before make, but restore your iPhone to factory settings and do not restore the backup in order to test the service when your iPhone is free of any settings, settings or software. If the problem persists, I would potentially look at the configuration of the router.

  I'm subscribed to hbo now on my I phone and I pad but I want to use the app on my 3rd generation Apple TV. The problem I see, is that I don't see an option to stream to Apple TV without a cable subscription activation code. Is a game air through my I phone or I pad the only way to look through the Apple TV?
