• Apple tv (2nd generation) hbo now

  I have a 2nd generation apple tv (6.2.1) and I'm having problems to display TV on HBONOW programs.

  I can see movies without problem, but try to view TV shows causes the HBONOW app down. (sometimes, he appears a loop; e.g. spinning wheel)

  I have contacted HBONOW support and went through all their troubleshooting procedures. I was informed by them that the problem is with the apple tv (point 6.2.1) software.

  My questions are: 1. is what support HBONOW said that the real problem?

  2 is Apple aware and working on this issue?

  3 is it possible for a regression away (point 6.2.1);

  4 is that what someone else with similar experience?

  FYI, I have no display my MBP 2010 performer 10.11.6 HBONOW problems; but it doesn't support airtime.

  Ideas or suggestions appreciated.

  HBO now for OS X is not an app, it is based on a web page

  HBO now for mountain BIKE depends on the application, developed by or for HBO under their influence.

  Apple tv OS 6.2.1 was the last update from Apple for ATV 2 and Apple supports more unit shortly after.

  so:

  (1) it is perhaps true, HBO is decent with troubleshooting.

  (2) Apple has stopped support for this purpose the issue is and will always be with HBO. Even if Apple suddenly starts to support ATV 2 its still a HBO problem to the extent that Apple is concerned and sketched in their license of USE of the device. HBO is the party who needs to fix their application in accordance with the framework of the 6.2.1 operating system compatibility

  (3) to a system restore restore your Apple TV to its factory - Apple Support settingsto reset the unit with its current operating system there is no way I know personally to downgrade Apple TV.

  (4) I've had personally not a problem with HBO now, but I ATV3

• Problem connecting to some programs on HBO NOW

  I have an Apple TV 2-3 rd gen. I had a few minor problems in recent years but have recently subscribed to HBO NOW and the unit will broadcast some programs very well but does not connect to other programs. Get an icon of spinning as it try to connect and notice light on Apple TV out and blink several times and turn back on. What happens here? Could it be warm-up he close cause or is more Apple TV compatible or reliable with a new Airport Extream router?

  It has nothing to do with the extreme router and if it is only with HBO now content so I suspect that the problem is with HBO, have you tried to contact them.

  I'm subscribed to hbo now on my I phone and I pad but I want to use the app on my 3rd generation Apple TV. The problem I see, is that I don't see an option to stream to Apple TV without a cable subscription activation code. Is a game air through my I phone or I pad the only way to look through the Apple TV?

  I currently subscribe to HBO & Showtime via iTunes. My family also wishes to watch HBO & Showtime on their iOS devices. How can I achieve this without giving them access to my iTunes account? I thought this was what family sharing?

• VIDEOS OF BUFFER EVERY 10-15 SECONDS

  My videos, especially on YouTube, constantly buffer every 10-15 seconds. I tried their first stamp with a PAUSE the video and wait 30 to 45 seconds, I tried everything that was suggested, but it continues in buffer. The only way I can watch a video until the end, is to leave this buffer for the execution of all, and THEN, sometimes, it works. But this is RIDICULOUS.

  When I got to my HP Windows 7, videos do NOT put in the buffer. Now they consistantly buffer and he drives me up a wall. I don't have the time to let all buffers videos for execution of all! Someone at - it OTHER ideas, or I come to my Windows XP and Dell computer? I need help.

  Jerry, welcome to the forum.

  When a help request, you must always include the brand / model of the computer or the monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications for them.

  Have you tried to lower the resolution (720 p to 360 p) videos to see if that helps?  Windows XP takes much less power, and is much less complex than Win7.  This can make a difference how to run programs and videos.

  Please let us know if this solved your problem or not.

  I am TIFF of Maya files which are 11880 x 3400 pixel.  The ranges of between 100-160 MB file size.  Whenever I try to open one of these images in Photoshop, I get this error: "Could not complete the command open because there is not enough RAM."

  I just ran Adobe Update and I have all the updates.

  I deleted my Photoshop preferences and restarted Photoshop.

  I have my drive from Scratch on an internal SSD drive to 30 GB of free space.

  I have 3000 MB of RAM to Photoshop.

  Despite all this, I always get the error "Could not complete the command open because there is not enough RAM" every time that I try to open the pictures made out of Maya.

  The images of Maya are normal TIFF 8-bit with alpha channel, or a channel depth.  I can open them with success in After Effects, but this is useless for me.  I need to edit them individually in Photoshop.

  Photoshop error is clearly not due to the size of the file.  I HDR panoramas with superior to 11880 x 3400 dimensions ranging up to 1 GB in size of the file that I can open and work on in Photoshop without any problem.

  Why Photoshop doesn't play well with these TIFF images?

  I received another complaint about it and looked at a sample file.    Maya apparently written the TIFF file as a large compressed tile (against the suggestions of the TIFF specification.).    If this tile is greater think Photoshop so that he may reasonably, safely allocate a buffer, it will get an out of memory error.

  The big problem is: there is no update "reasonable buffer" size for 64-bit.

  I am testing a fix for this now.

  But there's always bigger that Photoshop can read and Maya tiles needs to fix their code TIFF for use strips or tiles to avoid excessive buffer sizes.

• Captioning stuck on...

  For some reason any my captioning is taped for all my video apps on my Apple Tv (32g). When I watch a show in apps like Netflix, HBO now and others; subtitles appear on the bottom of the screen.

  went into the settings (under accessibility) and confirmed that the close captioning is turned off. I also did a full reset of Apple TV, without success. Any suggestions? I'm stuck. Thank you very much!

  Also try settings > Audio and video > subtitle language > Off, or tell Siri 'subtitles '.

  I think that your card does not support HDCP on the HDMI connection, which is required by these suppliers copy protection. Because you want to convert it to VGA, this isn't surprising, because an enterprising hacker could extract the digital video stream. Most of these adapters are sold "educational purposes", not the home entertainment, and that's why. That said, if you look diligently, you can find a suitable adapter. The educational goal of the KENIMBENI is actually mentioned on the Apple store page http://www.apple.com/shop/product/H9139VC/B/kanex-atv-pro-x-hdmi-to-vga-adapter-avec-audio-prise supported, as well as a comment by the user that it cannot handle the HDCP.

  This is a basic form of the app to the app, content providers. It has very little to do with your cable provider.

  IE things like CBS App offer broadcasts, but HBO NOW, I do not think this offer.

  While some applications may require that you connect with your account of cable television, this does not mean options Live are available.

  Live, you have your cable subscription and their box. Apple Tv is usually for on-demand playback, and do not have all of them live Tv stream options of programming.
