Hello, I use microsoft security essential and I have a problem.

Advising HP in my system showing me that 'no antivirus not installed in your system. At the risk of your system. «Please help...»

Hello

There is probably nothing to fear even HP Advisor only recognize a security product of Symantec (Norton, IE).

You can always check your security status by opening windows control panel, open the Action Center and develop 'Security' - this will show if there are problems.

  • Security issues with Microsoft Security essential and other anti-malware, anti-spyware programs

Hello, I would like you to help mewith the following questions...

Related to the question of the conflict between the programs microsoft security essential antivirus and antimalware bytes free (anti-malware) what is your opinion? Can they work together?
And a second question: can I have windows firewall turned on at the same time with another protection in real time from the anti-malware bytes and Super anti-spyware free software?
And the last question: what Windows Defender?
I disabled it in my computer, probably because I use Mr. S. Essential, is necessary in the 32-bit edition of Vista business with MSE and Antimalware running together?
    Thnx in advance...

Free Malwarebytes and Superantispyware Free cause no conflict with Microsoft Security Essentials.

    Keep Windows Firewall turned on.
You can't and don't need to use Windows Defender on Vista, when you use Microsoft Security Essentials.

  • Microsoft Security Essential and McAfee

I recently installed MSE while my McAfee subscription is still ongoing. Now, my computer is loading very slowly, my Web pages take forever to load, MSE and my computer displays a black screen for nearly 2 minutes ahead before it begins in place.  Oh, and it has been freezing.  Can these be the result by running both at the same time?

You should never have 2 AVs installled at the same time.

More than one AV installed cause slow, system hangs, etc..

    Uninstall McAfee or MSE.

    Hello

    1. who were the fix - it, you've tried?

    2. were you able to successfully install other programs on your computer before this problem?

    3. What is the error you received when the Windows Firewall and defender did not work on your computer?

    4. you have made no changes to the computer before this problem?

First of all, you must disable the auto reboot system error and then we can check if the problem exists in safe mode or not.

    Method 1.

Step 1. Disable automatic reboot to avoid unwanted restarts on system failure.

    a. when your computer starts up keep press F8 on your keyboard until you get the Advanced Boot Options screen.
    b. now, use the arrow keys, select Disable automatic restart in case of system error and press ENTER.

    Step 2:

Start your computer in safe mode

This isn't the best of cases, but if the best freeware choices. It's a good
    choice.

For an anti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32, if you're ready
to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend one (are not
run several) of the following three:

    Avira AntiVir
    Avast
    Microsoft Security Essentials

You also need anti-spyware software. I recommend that you download and
    install MalwareBytes AntiMalware (freeware).
