Help! Page looks good in FF + Chrome, but breaks in Safari

Summer check all along in Chrome, frantically rushing to meet the deadline - and now a final check in Safari 6.0.5 before turning point in (ok it was a serious error) - watch things on this page all the up messed up.

Safari changes the flow of the buttons in the header, but also the divs holding contents of 6 "from" I solved a problem on another page by adding display: block; but they cannot understand.

What a nightmare. Help!

I've got to turn that in b4 10:30 pm PST tonight 12/4, so forgive me if I don't answer you then.

Why the hell you check in Safari 6.0.5? The latest version of Safari is 9.0.1, which displays your page identical to Chrome.

Testing a site in multiple browsers is essential, but you should worry only about browsers that have a significant market share. Safari 6 has a share of less than 0.2%. As long as the information remains accessible in older and less capable browsers, there is no need to worry about aesthetics.

  • Web page looks good with tranparent and photographic background in mode boxes live view, but not in browsers

If someone has the time to help, I would be very grateful.   I am new to dreamweaver and I try to make a transparent Web page with columns and text box using styles.  It looks perfect in 'live view', but when I look in any browser all the formatting has disappeared.  It looks like the background with the text at the top of installed on wrapped throughout the entire page.   I was not able to understand what is wrong in the days of research.  Anyone know the answer?

Presents all first format I want and that's what it looks like in mode Live View, the second is what it looks like to most browsers.

    < h3 > what do NBCS? < / h3 >

< p > since 2004 the Bay of Narragansett Coyote study (NBCS) has developed strategies of coexistence and based management sciences for our most recent top-level predator.  Coyotes, originally a species of Prairie, have successfully colonized all parts of the continental and coastal us over the past 100 years. They reached the islands of Narragansett Bay in the middle of the 1990s. Since then the coyotes have become more and more abundant and problematic in some communities of the island. < /p >

< p > in our history of cohabitation with the coyotes people constantly tried to eliminate them by hunting, trapping and poisoning. Lethal removal worked for individual problem animals but did not work as a strategy of population control. Why? Coyotes have physiological and behavioural abilities intrinsic to control their own numbers. If the coyotes are removed they increase reproduction and numbers to rebound quickly. The trigger of critical population regulation is competition for food. As long as the coyotes are well fed (with a few coyotes competing for food) their populations will grow. < /p >

< p > we know also that the opposite effect occurs if the coyotes if the coyotes are stressed by competition for food. If there are too many coyotes competing for the available food coyotes will drop the sustainable level of these resources. < /p >

< p > understanding of this relationship, the NBCS scientists decided to study the use of the resources of coyotes on two islands of Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. We used GPS to find out location necklaces where coyotes are spending their time. We have made the assumption that if we could identify food resources important coyote - control - coyotes defray their own numbers. NBCS called & quot; management passive coyote. & quot; < /p >

< p > since 2005 when we are caught in the trap and to collar our first coyotes on the island that we found continuously as the most important food resources of our study are provided people. This means that they are in our command this means that we can control the coyotes. If we remove anthropogenic resources (human grants) coyote numbers will drop to the sustainable level of natural resources. When the coyotes are fed only natural prey number of coyotes (mice, woodchucks, rabbits, geese and deer) will be lower and they will provide useful pest services. < /p >

< p > according to our science NBCS generated a set of < has href = ' coyotes/best' practices for Coexistence with Coyotes - 8 Nov 2010.pdf management target = "_new" > best management practices for Coexistence with Coyotes < /a > - essentially a Toolbox for safe and sustainable community management, coyote. We work with the cities in our study area to adopt the CBMPs and be the first community in the nation to successfully and sustainably manage coyotes. We believe also in other cities and towns might be able to use our results as a template if they have problems of coyote. We have barely begun to implement the CBMPs on our islands. We soon hope to have all our implementation of the CBMPs cities - only, then we will see the full impact they make on the coyote numbers and behavior problems. You can follow our progress on this Web site. < /p >

From the looks of your screenshot, I'd say it's a path problem.  Are you sure that you downloaded the CSS document when you loaded the page and that the path is correct?  It appears in your second screenshot that there is no style applied so your stylesheet is not included for a wrong path or because it is simply not there.

  • Rendered videos look good on my computer, but when downloaded on YouTube they look brighter.

Whenever I make a video in first pro and view my computer with Windows Media Player, it looks good, however once I have download YouTube video looks much brighter and the quality seems worse. I tried the same thing on a trial version of Sony Vegas Pro and it seems to work correctly, the video on Youtube is the appropriate color, it should be and it seems. I'd rather not move to Vegas Pro, because I've already paid for first Pro CC.

    My computer specs:

    Intel I7 4770 k

    16 GB OF RAM

    GeForce GTX 980ti

I did some research before that and I found that for Nvidia cards, you must change the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel for color adjustments are made with the Nvidia settings and the dynamic range is set to (0-255). It still doesn't work and I can't find any other information about it.

If you visit DnxHD with Rec. 709, it should look perfect on youtube.

I use AE utility profile converter to burn in the rec. 709, you could try SOUL or a lut rec709 for first.

It makes it darker, then youtube makes more brilliant again. I don't know if 16-235 is the reason why, but others have good luck using this method.

  • Site looks good in the preview, but broken HTML page on my server

I correctly exported other sites and uploaded them to my server, but this site collapses. The CSS has the correct styles but not the positions of the image. The site is at www.drnewtons.com/MDV5/index.html

The files are in the right place, the permissions to the access of the public... indices?

I SOLVED IT! Looks like you need to have the elements HTML custom layer for the rest of the drawing or model does not break apart. Tried a couple of times on different designs and this is what works.

  • site looks good on my computer, but not others

Hey guys, I have problems with the typekit Muse and also some other bugs that might need fixing. What I see in muse files is perfect and just how I want things to look at, but once I publish and display on other computers, I see the seeds that I don't know how to fix. For the most part in the typekit is where things aren't right past. I loaded a font of type kit and everything seems to work on my computer but it switches and load another police on another computer. I know that if the police is not already on the computer it will not work and it is the old way of doing things. With this typekit 'new' how does not work well.

    Could someone help me?

    Thank you

Ah, that's it! Thanks for the idea, fenjas29325284 !

Typekit is used only the fonts to the domain that you set when you download to the server (or export as HTML).

So if there is a redirect and page is physically loading from different domain, Typekit will not allow the portion of fonts.

Check your area for download or export settings.

  • Firefox 4.0 Windows 7 a site looks good in Solution Explorer, but the menu and submenu appears wrong with Firefox. JavaScript is enabled. How to fix?

I made a website and it seems fine in Internet Explorer with the Windows 7 operating system. When viewing with Firefox main menu and submenus look bad and the submenus are not usable because they appear on top of the main menu. How can I fix it?

As a starting point, I recommend the more liberal DOCTYPE (that I listed above).

position of cor - el shows a change at one of scripts on your site so that the number of pixels is followed by the letters "px" (Firefox requires measurement units, in this case, the pixels).

If you use the auto white balance setting in the camera it is remove the Green tint in the embedded preview raw file (JPEG files). LR White Balance tool is more limited in range compared to the correction of the White Balance in the camera. On your screenshot posted the tint WB slider is set to 150 (Magenta), but clearly it is not sufficient to correct the under cast of green water. You can create a custom profile of DNG to extend LR Temp WB and range of hue as shown here:

Lightroom: Setting the white balance for underwater photography

One of the Green images issued by export to the DNG format and open it in Adobe DNG Profile Editor. The corrections described above and then name and save the new DNG profile in below the location of the folder. Restart LR to load the new profile of the camera.

  • A Firefox help page appears for a while and is then wiped away, in FF4RC

I go to the Firefox Help Page "Look at a video in Firefox without a plugin", and the content of the body appears for a few moments (on my Vista laptop) and then disappears, leaving only the title, the line of contributors, a block of white space, the text block and nurse image of pussycat. The stuff on the part RIGHT is OK.

I get the same on this portable w7, except that I see any good page (perhaps because this laptop is faster?).

3.6.15 on two laptops, the page appears correctly, I think.

I guess my question is someone who knows how to submit a bug report formal on FF4 to see if they can reproduce this and if yes, then please submit such a report?

Or perhaps you could tell me what I'm doing wrong; even if, as he fails on two separate computers to FF4 and works on both in FF3.6.15, I don't think I'm doing something wrong.

I've added the troubleshooting information below, obediently, but I doubt that this is necessary...

In Firefox 4.0 it loads and then "disappears" on slower PCs, faster to load the page, so fast that the content does not appear again.

This web page will remain loaded in Firefox 4.0 if you go on the right side of this page under help with: and click on Firefox 4.0 and select Firefox 3.5-3.6 instead.

This page is empty in Firefox 4.0, because the content applies only to earlier versions of Firefox. The content of Firefox 4.0 is not yet active for this particular article.

  • My text looks good in dreamweaver, but blurry in the web browser. Help, please

I'm a Web page noob and I am doing this for my sister and I would love to help with that I've got a fact wrong here.

Essentially, the problem is that the text looks good when I design in dreamweaver, but is blurred in browsers (safari, opera). I tried different front styles and sizes, but the text seems still blurry.

I have included a screenshot of dreamweaver CS3, a screenshot of the page in safari and the html file.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it I want the text look crisp when I publish the site.

    Thank you

    Joe

I think that it is a case of the Safari text rendering problem. Safari makes light text on dark background look horrible.

If you load your page on a test server for debugging, you can use browsershots to see screenshots of your web page in different browsers and platforms.  My guess is that your page looks probably fine in FF, IE and Chrome.

    1. Open the Avast dashboard on an affected system.
    2. Select settings in the left side menu.
    3. Adopt a Protection Active.
    4. Click on customize next to the Web Shield.
    5. Uncheck the option "Enable HTTPS analysis", and then click ok.

    Hello

Please try to go to Tools (or Alt + T) > modules, Extensions , click on the left and if it is listed on the right, delete it. Otherwise, you will need to go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel of BONE and remove it from there.
