  I'm a complete noob when it comes to ACE. I know some basic things like stop(); and gotoAndPlay.

  Here's my dilemma.

  Dear Professor gave us a task to create a Web site in Flash. You must have 15 links or 15 pages. He says that you can only go frame-by-frame in the main timeline without space interpolation between the two. I'm practically creating all my animations in symbols.

  This isn't a problem... I created a title of short video introduction in Flash using a Movie Clip symbol... placed on the main timeline on the first page and then called ActionScript to play the video.

  This is the problem... Then... the movie will play, but it will make a continuous loop... I tried to put a stop(); on the homepage, under the ACE... I'm just completely lost on how to get it to read the short clip and go directly to the home page... Could someone PLEASE direct me on how to do it and give me an explanation as to why this way is the way, that's... I want to understand how it works.

  I have a movieclip (left with alibis and lying eyes) in a movieclip (watch) and I have buttons on the breast left with alibis and lying eyes I want to go to the labels/images specific to the breast to look at. I tried to do:

  the function() trace to determine the correct path (you can use trace (this) on any scenario to see its absolute path) and ensure the required movieclip exists when the button is released.

• removal of clips video iOS iMovie

  I import video into iMovie on my iPad air 2 on USB. I edit the project, and then export it back.

  I delete the project, to make room for the next project, but none of the clips are removed.

  I must therefore delete iMovie on the iPad and then back - probably, I'm missing something - this may not be the only way to remove the clips?

  Managing the media copied from another device

  You can change the media used in the projects that have been shared between the devices in the media section of the iMovie library. There you can download the media in your photo library, or remove the media the current device.

  Note: Media projects created in previous versions of iMovie can also be managed in this way.

  1. Tap plans to open the project Viewer, select the project with the media that you want to manage and tap on change.
  2. Press the button add media , then click on videos.
  3. Select iMovie Media.Any appear video clips that are already saved in your photo library.

  I think that the process is very similar to previous versions of iMovie, but names/icons may be different.  Hope that helps

  This is a new and improved feature in iMovie. You must hold down the 'R' key while clicking on the part of the item you want.  By default, the full clip will be added to the time line.

  I had a similar problem and it was driving me crazy. I think you press and hold the 'R' key now to select a range, otherwise, it will select the whole clip. I think it's a goal a feature and not a bug? Hope that helps!

  When you run a search on my computer, some temp. put video clips to the point.  I tried to delete and can't find a way...  Any suggestions?

  Have you tried emptying your temporary Internet files folder?

  Reach... Start / run... Type or Copy/Paste...the following...

  Remove all the Temporary Internet Files folder.

• try to export a video clip, but it's not compatible with flash player 17. Help?

  I'm trying to export a video clip, but it indicates that it contains features that are not compatible with flash player 17 and don't work every time, I tried exporting in different ways and using parameters different flash player, but nothing seems to work.   You cannot export the integrated H.264 video. If you try to put animations on top of some videos, do export you already, but it does not send through Adobe Media Encoder. There is also a checkbox to ignore the color of the scene and to generate an alpha channel. Do it too. You should end up with a MOV file that can sit on top of the original video, click, in After Effects or Premiere.

  I have a clip I want to trigger it with a toggle button, inside this clip I have various video clips in different layers that should play at the same time.

  The problem here is that when I press on enter and watch the clip on the stage, each layer plays but when I do the film do not play a few layers. How can I make all play?

  I wonder, when I remove the film clips should I also be burst their table?

  I have an onEnterFrame function that attaches the video clips and the drives in the array, so I'm afraid that if I don't pop the table will continue to increase in size and slow down the film. This is the case, or will they be automatically removed from the table by the above removeMovieClip() method?

  They will not be removed from the table, but the table can now point to an undefined object.  So if the intention is not to try to deal with in this code, then you must delete them from the table.

• Help, please! Video clips nested under the navigation bar

  Hello world

  Only, I had my first lesson in flash a couple of days, but decided to venture building a toolbar of navigation with grouped clips. My intention is that once the mouse rolls, more clip of a particular movie, another video clip fades below (my version of a menu "drop-down"). Just to make that happen, the clip that fades, is also composed of particular video clips with their own behaviors (to the tween effects of reversal).

  I can make each individual movie clip behave as it should, but I can't make them work once they are assembled. I enclose a link that contains the file that I want to talk (submenu), in the hope that one of you, good Samaritans would take a glance and tell me where I was wrong.

  I hope that I've not absolutely shocked you guys with my level of ignorance.

• Noob help: release of video Clips with buttons

  I take an intro Flash and Action Script and for my last class, I need to create a portfolio that contains 5 unique buttons that trigger the 5 unique video clips. I have a hard time with this. I've been able to trigger the 1st clip with the first button (although I can't stop), but I can not trigger all the other films with any other button.

  Here is my code:

  You should learn how to use the help documentation to find answers as how to use the visible property.  For the code you have shown earlier, here is what you can try setting 1 to replace.

  It could be refined, as with a function that hides everything and use it every time before you do that you want to show visible.  You may find it necessary to include saying the films of gotoAndStop (1) as well.

  It's about as generous as I'll get.  It is important that you learn things, and give you a solution won't help to do so.

• Help, please... Flash is ignoring my Video Clip

  I create a slide show on Flash 8 and I want the last slide actually be a video clip. It's a slideshow where images just play themselves, fading and fading, one after the other. No interactivity of the Viewer.
  
  So I imported the .mpg file, I need and set it in the last image in the slideshow. But for some reason any Flash is ignorant. Preview SWF Gets the last frame before the video clip, ignore the video clip and starts in the first frame of the timeline.
  
  The funny thing is, I've done this before and I can't understand what I'm doing wrong this time.
  
  MY LINE OF CONDUCT:
  1 file > import... > import video
  2. in the import of video, under the section SELECT VIDEO dialog, I select 'your computer' and with the ' Browse... '. ", select the desired .mpg file.
  3. in the DEPLOYMENT section, I mark "Progressive download from a web server." I prefer not to embed the video in the SWF file, because the video is about 6 minutes long. What I said 'embed video in SWF and play in timeline' can cause audio sinc questions involving more than 2 minutes long video clips.
  4. in the ENCODING section, I select profile high quality Flash 8 and leave the settings as they are. My encoding settings:

  5. I select 'None' for the SKINNING
  
  6 then I press "Finish" and wait for flash encode my video file. When it is complete the encoding process, in my library I find the FLVPlayback instance and on the stage, is what I assume to be the first frame of the video clip (in my case just a black frame) with a Flash Video icon in the Center.
  
  When I saw the SWF or post - the video is ignored. Flash it jumps just as if he were not there.
  
  I tried to import a much shorter video file and it worked. So I think maybe this has to do with the length. But first, I used the exact same 6 minute video clip in Flash before and it worked fine. Secondly, I don't remember hearing about the problems with video clips of 6 minutes, Flash 8 or so.
  
  I also tried to import the same .mpg to a new Flash document, it set the default image single layer 1. But same result - the video would not play.
  
  I use a PC, quite capable of managing this kind of work. The .mpg file made from a .avi file using Sony Vegas video editing software. He played in all of the media players and seems perfectly fine.
  
  Any ideas? I am really puzzled. The fact that it worked before and suddenly gives me problems is particularly frustrating. Can anyone help?

  Are you going to put a stop(); action on the frame with the video? If not then flash will just a loop around the beginning or skip your video file.
