• How many license needed for our projects

  Hello
  
  We have help .chm (plane) WebHelp Pro. I wonder how many licenses I would need / what would be the best practice for our aid projects. I can't find a clear answer in the documentation for it.
  
  We have 3 main products PMS, POS, and CRM.
  Each product is multi lingual.
  
  Therefore, we have a project for each product and language combination.
  -Help the PMS English
  -Dutch PMS help
  -PMS German help
  -Ditto for the POS, CRM product.
  
  As each project is for a different product and language, we should not merge of these projects. If I understand the installation documentation, then I have an engine with different projects that are not merged, or I can have a different license for each of them.
  
  -What is the best practice? One or more licenses?
  -What are the pros and con's of each?
  
  Furthermore, we use RoboHelp X 5, the box has an upgrade to 'Office pro for .net' sticker and the cd has RoboEngine for .net (o listed version number).

  This is terrible news that HR Server 6 no longer has the "License Manager" in Configuration Manager.

  This means that all the people who wanted to have projects with separate reports can now do without having to pay another $1,000 + for another license (as they did at the time of eHelp/Macromedia!) So now you can just put in place of the IIS Web sites and point your Configuration manager on a new Web site, and it configures the new server site. This will help the author create reports only to that site without having to pay extra.

  It is a performance of "sleeper" gigantic that has gone right in front of me. Akshay also addresses the issue of John-Pierre on Ports.

• Air does not help a valid option for some projects?

  RH9, several projects that are currently deployed as merged webhelp.

  I opened the project that we use as the 'parent' and was able to change the Air outlet, no problem. But when I try to open the other projects that we use as a 'child' projects, it does not allow us to select Air. Even, the option does not display in the output dropdown.

  Is there a setting to be changed? My understanding is that Air can-do merged help projects and makes them in the same way as our existing format, Webhelp.

  Try right clicking on the SSL pod to create a new page layout. Project settings shows that the provisions that are in the project so that you can set the default value. Pretty useless really as you can also do this in the SSL pod.

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. When the machine starts first, yet once it will list usually some equipment that is installed on your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a menu of Advanced Options in Windows XP.
  3. Select the Safe Mode with networking option using the arrow keys.

  I recently started a school project and I installed IIS on my computer and created a server local, all I can think about. I guess I'm just too much of a beginner. I tried to put any type of video on my page. I have the video downloaded on my computer and I have read the forums to try to understand what I did wrong. I can't find a way to do it. I have the file in many different types. (.mov, .swf and .js,. ed., .wma). I would really appreciate help because I tried for a few days now.

• Help! Need for communication in real-time between a portable laptops 12-20 teacher students (wireless network)

  I'm trying to delvelop software (Labview) that is installed on the student laptops (12-20 max) who reads data continusly (max 1 to 10 hz) of the computer laptop instructors. It tells me that the use of a text file and have the students to read continuously is not a viable option. Any help would be greatly appreiciated. I write mostly programs data type simple aquistion strain of measurers LVDT etc. as an engineer. I'm not a full time programmer, so I'm learning as necessary. The data is constantly simple double prescision updated of a simulation.

  Well, you can also use TCP instead of UDP.  The TCP network protocol provides a bit more load to ensure that packets arrive in order and will be sent if missed.  That does not necessarily all the data arrive.  Disconnect a cable network for a short period of time, and a sent packet eventually timeout and exit.  But the internet tracks on this Protocol good enough, (at least that's what I said ) so I'm sure that it will work reliably enough for your small network application.

  If you need other insurance, all your data arrives, so you can serialize each data package yourself, put a sequential number in communication with other data.  If the receiving program detects a missing number or one out of order, then at least you know your application level and can do something.  But I seriously doubt that your application is so critical that you need to worry about the implementation of this.  Just rely on TCP and you'll be fine.
