Help with a config table in Dreamweaver

Hi guys,.

Having trouble setting up a table in Dreamweaver and I know I should have enough knowledge to sort, but my brain went on vacation, I could ask here thought, I hope someone can enlighten us. OK, let's go.

I have, on my site, a section for my Blogs. I have 3 Blogs and make them sit nicely in a table of 3 column width and just keep adding lines if necessary.

Now, the problem I have is when I type the text in 1 cell of table (column), everything is ok. Problem is when I type the entries in the 2nd table cell (column), the text won't start from the top of the cell, it starts adjacent to the typing where ended in the 1st cell. The same thing happens also to the text in the cell 3 (column).

Here is a url to show the problem: http://www.andywhitham.com/blogmay

I know Dreamweaver table facilities to have a fool proof system, looks like Im the fool who has yet to prooofed... lol

If anyone can shed some light on this, I would be grateful.

Andy,

Place your cursor in the cell of the table and through the property inspector, set the vertical alignmen UPSTAIRS.

That will move all content to the top of the cell ;-)

Optionally, seek to eliminate all line styles and place them in a style sheet, it will keep your codes nice and clean and make it easier change of styles of the element if you want to change styles on different elements, for example: borders, background color etc..,.

also, you can watch using a doctype - for the moment that the page does not use one, it sends the page in quirks mode and can make unexpectedly in different browsers.

    4 tables.

    doc_master
    doc_folder_master

    doc_master has all the documents in the files
    doc_folder_master has all the names of folders (documents are in folders)

    Select * from document_master where proj_id IN

    So if I understand you

    select a.doc_file_name, c.name, d.proj_title
    from document_master a,
         document_relations b,
         doc_folder_master c,
         project_master d
    where c.doc_folder_id = b.parent_doc_id
      and b.child_doc_id = a.doc_id
      and d.proj_id= a.proj_id
      and d.status='A'
      and upper(d.proj_title) like '%SUPPLIER%'

    If every relationship exists, the query will work.
    If not try an outer join to find the error as

    select a.doc_file_name, c.name, d.proj_title
    from document_master a,
         document_relations b,
         doc_folder_master c,
         project_master d
    where c.doc_folder_id(+) = b.parent_doc_id
      and b.child_doc_id(+) = a.doc_id
      and d.proj_id(+) = a.proj_id

    You are absolutely right!

    "WHERE x BETWEEN y AND z" is equivalent to
    "WHERE x > = y AND x.<=>
    If y > z, no line will never be allowed, and if there is the great artist of value in your table, then lines (probably) very little, perhaps only 1 will satisfy the same if condition z > y.

    What exactly are you trying to do?
    It helps if post you a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements) and the results desired from these data. If the results are conditional, give some examples, for example, "if I run the query at any time on 15 June, I want to... but if it's June 16, so I want to..." »

    If you want the most recent 15 days, including today (that is, when run on 15 June, you want from 1 June until 15 June) then:

    SELECT DISTINCT
         fwvitals_date
    FROM      fwvitals
    WHERE       fwvitals_date     BETWEEN     TO_CHAR (SYSDATE - 14, 'YYYYMMDD')
                   AND     TO_CHAR (SYSDATE,      'YYYYMMDD')
    ;

    Fortunately, the strings are in a format such as sorting is explicit, so you don't have to run TO_DATE on each of them and get conversion errors.

  • Help with ESXi config backup and restore

    We have ESXi 4.1 vSphere (no vCenter) and try to test a back up and restore hypervisor configuration settings before going on the do an upgrade of update 1.

    Virtual Assistant Machine using, we can successfully export a .tgz file settings of ESXi config with the following command (from a previous post on this topic):

    vicfg-cfgbackup - < Server > s - configBundle - ESXix.x.x.x.tgz

    The config file is sent to/home/vi-admin. The problem is when I try to restore the configuration file for the ESXi server. I'm vMA and connected as a vi admin. Then type vifp addserver < Server >. Then check the target server is added by typing vifp mailing lists. I check that I can run vSphere orders CLI without authentication by typing vicfg-NIC - l. So far so good. Then when I try to restore the ESXi with the configuration by using the command file, below, I get an error of "command not found".

    vicfg-cfgbackup - < Server > | configBundle - ESXix.x.x.x.tgz

    The process of creating backups and restores to an ESXi Server seem to be rather complicated and not before right for someone of my level of experience. Basically what I need to be able to do is to check there is a process to recover from a failure of ESXi to restore its original configurations. Is there an easy, dumbed-down process for this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Is that a pipe in your order? It should be l as L for load

    also since your vifp presentation you could do

    vifptarget s esxi1

    Enter the credentials

    and then fire your order less - server part where you set this with vifptarget

    "vicfg-cfgbackup - configBundle - ESXix.x.x.x.tgz l.

    Hello

    I'm in the middle of creating a price list and we were brainstorming some ideas of rates.

    We have finally developed with one we want to use, but I simply can't the table traits to do what I want them to do.

    I have attached a picture of how we want the table to consult.

    As you can see the contours of column are the length of the cell, but how do I format the function table to do this?

    Or for the text, you could apply a rule top and change the hyphens in function

    It would be more automatic - it will keep the automatic refills, and you can apply these directly with a paragraph style.

    You can also apply the feature of line for each separate in styles - if you use styles

  • Help with PL/SQL table

    Hi all

    Newbie when it comes to PL/SQL tables...

    Can someone explain to me why it works and how exactly I can do the following without triggering an error?

    I have a function that accepts a PL/SQL table like in parameter.

    The PL/SQL table is defined as...
    Type TTimeTable is table of xxtzg_otl_iface_stg%rowtype index by binary_integer;
    the xxtzg_otl_iface_stg table has many columns including error_message and error_flag. If I find an error, I want to update the error_message and error_flag function. If I can get it works I will then modify the function to return to the table of PL/SQL instead of BOOLEAN

    Your table is declared as IN only (the default if you do not explicitly set it), so you are not allowed to change its attributes in all respects, IN = read-only.

    If you want to be able to modify the values of a parameter, it must be declared as OUT parameters.

    What I want is less than

    -Search for a line more low which is CON_DATE > = to_date ('01-NOV-1998', ' MON-DD-YYYY "") AND STATE = 30658 and get the second row whose state = 30658 but having separate con_date

                               or CON_DATE = > = to_date (November 1, 1997 ',' MON-DD-YYYY "") AND STATE <>30658 & get the second row including State = 30658 but having separate con_date

    and lower (status) = 'active '.

    and get another line that extends beyond the found line, but having separate con_date (no operation of the same day.)

    I tried to do it with and then attach it again with the same table, but I don't get different results...

    Please advise.

    Thanks for trying.

    First find a line that corresponds

    ((CON_DATE > = to_date (1er novembre 1998 ', ' MON-DD-YYYY ") AND STATE = 30658))

    or (CON_DATE > = to_date (November 1, 1997 ',' MON-DD-YYYY "") AND STATE <> 30658))

    8 second get/check the following line immediately for offs_id even that has different con_date, that is superior to prev con_date but State should be 3065

    If offs_id found then return else throw line...

    Thus, in addition to the conditions that I listed previously, there must be a line with the same offs_id, which has a con_date later and the State concerned; is this fair?

    You can use a self-join to see if there is such an extra line:

    WITH params AS

    (

    SELECT TO_DATE (November 1, 1998 ', 'DD-Mon-YYYY') AS later_threshold_date

    AS target_state 30658

    11900 AS target_offs_id

    OF the double

    )

    SELECT s.offs_id

    OF s sor_off

    JOIN params p ON s.offs_id = p.target_offs_id

    AND ((s.con_date > = p.later_threshold_date))

    AND s.state = p.target_state

    )

    OR (s.con_date > = ADD_MONTHS (p.later_threshold_date, 12))

    AND s.state <> p.target_state

    )

    )

    JOIN sor_off ON s2.offs_id = s.offs_id s2

    AND s2.con_date > s.con_date

    AND s2.state = p.target_state

    GROUP BY s.offs_id

    ;

    The only difference between this and the previous solution is the last join, in other words, the 3 lines of code just before the GROUP BY clause.

  • help with table 1 d research

    Hey guys,.

    IM extracting data from a database and store it as a cluster of tables 1 d and now I want to find an element in a table using the table. After completing the two individual tables I try and seek help search 1 d table comparing to a fourth value has already generated. I was hoping to use the index of table 1 d search to enter something at this level since the other table.

    Table im trying to look for a currently a single element, the element im trying to find, but I get a - 1 return.

    can you see what I'm doing wrong here? is there something I don't understand not all table 1 d search?

    Thank you guys

    A common problem here is white space (spaces, tabs, and newline characters, etc.).  Try to use Whitespace Trim on the search string and the elements of the array before the search.

  • need help with spacing in Dreamweaver

    Hi I need help I did a site in Dreamweaver using a box format. I never did, but I have a gap between my header and navigation bar that I just can't close. What should I do?

    By default, browsers add their own margins and padding to HTML elements.  Many people use a CSS Reset to remove this default spacing, then add their own values to the different CSS selectors.

    This quick and dirty reset uses an asterisk (*) as a wildcard selector.  This removes the default margins and padding of all:

    CSS:

    * {margin: 0; padding: 0}

    Other methods of Reset CSS:

  • Can anyone help with a problem of table?

    Hello world!

    (ID CS5 - Windows 7)

    I have a lot of tables to prepare a very long document.

    The tables are in Word. I placed one of them and tried to make a table style. Everything works but I'm not able to save, in style, the height of the header of the table, or the height of the body lines, and the height of the footer. I think that it is possible to do so in the table styles. Am I wrong?

    I need lines, the header and the footer to have 6 mm, 5.5 mm and 14 mm

    I did a test with a table file and styles with a formatted table (and not formatted table) allows you to take a look and find out quickly what I am doing wrong. It's here: http://hotfile.com/dl/104806109/a1396b1/teste_2.indd.html

    Thanks in advance

    Maria

    You must set the cell styles for your lines of header and footer. Unfortunately there is no adjustment of height of the cells. You can force it by using a fixed first base Offset combined with top and bottom yokes. This will produce lines that are 1 p 3 high:

  • Need help with Dreamweaver Divs

    http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww71/killster17/help-1.jpg?t=1295224397
    This is a clip of my site that I do, is not yet online.
    But what I need help with the div, as you can see the div with the blue text overlaps a Fireworks html banner I made.
    Anyway I can fix this so that the Fireworks banner goes over the div instead of the other way around?
    Any help is thanked!

    It is a problem with the stacking order.  Your division of the blue text takes precedence over your menus rollover.

    Please read on z-index.

  • Help with table widths

    Here's my problem... I want the table that I use to always be 650 (or 700, I haven't decided) pixels wide. What will happen is I'll stick tests students in the table. When I do that, I have to use the option "paste special" to keep students' formatting (as points out, italics, etc.). But when I do that, it resizes the table in the width of the actual test in the word, that spans the width to a very large extent. How can I get the text to fall in with my fixed table width?

    Hmm, I just realized perhaps an allusion to the problem. DW goes keep paragraphs regular, forced to the width of the table. The part that is all waste is the bibliography at the end. But makes not much sense to me... I did not upgrade special-shaped, suspended the indentation or whatever it is, for the works cited. They are, in essence, just more short paragraphs of the book. Any ideas?

    EDIT: OK guys... somehow the expected Word that I wrote a bibliography and changed the style of the one. I got it back to normal so that the segment and it worked. Sorry for the noise!

    I don't know about you but display: inline-table; is not necessary.
