  You should have no problem link to an anchor on another page. Simply select the anchor point in the menu for hyperlinks. In the case, it may not work are if the anchor is in a tab or a sign of accordion or other gadget.

• Why workspace is filled with white on the home page, but not others?

  I create a new site.  I created a master.  There is a background image to fill the page.  The area of width of work on my home page is filled with Pentecost. Exactly what I want. New page is now transparent. If I create a box and fill it white and put in the background gets what I need but is cumbersome to manage.  I don't know how it was done on the homepage and I want to reproduce them. There is no area of filling on the homepage.  It was just filled with white.  I've added three photos. Top: A-master, middle is the homepage and the bottom is the new page. I need help.   With nothing selected on the page, click on "Complete"... you can also do this on your Master Page if you do not have to do it on all pages.

• Need help with div covering the whole page.

  I'm starting to learn more about the delicate design.  I have what I know is a very simple question, but can't seem to solve it.

  The problem is that I have my header and footer using the entire width of the page with a black background.  But if you look there is a small space on each side.  I would NOT expect this space.  If you wouldn't mind taking a look at the source code for this page and see what I could hurt I has you SO grateful!

• Firefox, Yahoo - when I click on a link on the home page, an error message appears. What's wrong? -"Your browser has asked that this server could not understand. A request header field exceeds server limit.

  IMac using Firefox 8 and Yahoo as a homepage. When I click on a link of news it brings up the error message next - "your browser has requested that this server could not understand. A request header field exceeds server limit. When I use Safari it is no problem.

  I did as b ^ 24554 and cleared out the cache and cookies and the problem seems to be resolved. Thank you.

  Ah, I see.

  Which is caused by default html5 text chute fills by adding inline elements (what are the images in text will eventually be).

  You can remove one of several ways, the easiest would be to add the css to the image directly (in this way, if the fill is something you want or need on the other images, it will leave those alone)...

  You can reset firefox with its factory default settings, but you need to add your add ons repeatedly.

• When you open an external link, a new window opens and displays the home page

  Updated to the latest version (36.0 Linux) and now whenever I open a link from an external application to be steam E-mail IRC or any other source, instead of the page is displayed a new window will open and then load the home page. I tried the default browser to something else (which opened the links correctly) switching and vice versa, safe mode and even a refresh, but the problem persists.

  I found this in the bug tracker.

  Apparently it seems to be a problem with an old hack in XFCE or desktop environments possible on X in general, which is no longer supported in Firefox 36. A solution fast until they solve this problem, is to open a new terminal and enter:

  sudo gedit /usr/share/xfce4/helpers/firefox.desktop
  (replace gedit by any other text editor you use)
  .. .and change the last two lines:
  X-XFCE-orders = %B - distance "openURL (about: Virgin, new window)"; %B;
  X-XFCE-CommandsWithParameter = %B - remote "openURL (%s)"; %B %s;
  to read:
  X-XFCE-orders = %B;
  X-XFCE-CommandsWithParameter = B %%s;
  then save the document, of course.

  This solves the problem for me immediately.

• Someone has just a difficulty to stop to open with the home page homepage?

  I see that this problem is widespread, but some of the 'easy' patches are for computer geeks only. I would like to know if anyone could tell me how to get rid of the home page without delving into the bowels of my computer? I'm not writing software, and I'm not going to jump through hoops to try to get rid of this nuisance.

  There must be more people like me who look at some of these answers and think, 'What?'... especially when you see what you see apparently when you "walk through" the steps to correct this problem.

  I think that Firefox should address this personally, since it's their update that we screwed everything. Supposedly, updates are supposed to make us 'ready to take advantage of the latest speed, flexibility and security. Yes, good. How to fix this bug, Firefox? Instead of making your users solve problems for you. This is ridiculous.

  If no one can help me to solve this problem without having to get a degree in computer science, can someone tell me how to get rid of the update total? I'll take my chances of NOT being "ready to enjoy the last speed, flexibility and security.

  I'm sorry for the frustration, but it's just simply unacceptable. We shouldn't have go through it whenever we update. Thanks for any help!

  Someone knows how to removed links home and logo, if users are on the home page?   The Home link and logo would work on the rest of the pages. Thank you.

  Assuming you have the linked logo image and the Home (in a widget menu) button on a master page:

  Create a copy of the master page that do not have the image of the linked logo and apply it to the home page.

  Regarding your second question, I believe you have a 'All the Pages' menu in your master page for the link (hyperlink to is not editable) home; in this case, you can create a menu the same manual with no hyperlink on the Home tab and put it in the copy of the master page that you create and apply to the home page.
