Help with the Task Manager
When I click CTRL/ALT/DELETE I can't see my task manager? I see a green box on my right side of my toolbar, but I can't access the Task Manager? I don't know if I've accidentally changed a setting, but I need some help please?
This green box is reduced Task Scheduler. Double-click on this green area to fully open.

There are a variety of similar positions on the Internet that refer to this type of behavior, but not one that seems to be a guaranteed solution. A few success report by disabling the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, while others reduce the media files in folders that are monitored by WMP, etc.. You have a lot of media files?

This behavior can occur if the Task Manager is running in tiny footprint mode. If you double-click on the empty in the border around the tabs, Manager space tasks switches to this mode.
To enable the task to his typical display mode Manager, double-click the top border of the window. TaurArian [MVP] 2005-2010 - Update Services -
When I open the Firefox browser a normal icon appears for a few moments and then is replaced by a link to a video. When I played the video it shows two young women shopping and a young man talking on his cell phone comes and seems to describe the choice of girls at the shopping to someone on the phone. The girls look concerned, and the message seems to be something about privacy. It is a bit odd and ends abruptly. Initially, I assumed the video was published by Firefox, but I'm not sure. It has been on my computer for months. Sometimes I can go to Firefox and see a normal homepage, but usually, that is quickly replaced by this. If I go on Manager tasks and 'end task' to Firefox, I can then open the Firefox browser and it will be normal with just the icon of Firefox and no link to the video.
What does that mean? This video is supposed to be on my Firefox browser?

Hello
I use Oracle 10.2.0.4 on win 2008 Server SP2. I would like to know if we can set the Segment space management auto for RBS and temporary storage spaces. As the data are not permanent in these storage spaces, it will handle automatically?
Please adviceI would like to know if we can define the management function of space Segment car for RBS and temporary storage spaces.
Are you on 10g, use the UNDO tablespace.
If you try to create the undo tablespace with "auto segment space management", you get an error.

The management of cancellation setting must be on "AUTO" for automatic management of the undo tablespace. The temporary tablespace is automatically supported by oracle itself.

The Task Manager does not appear anything other than running programs. Help?
It started a few weeks ago, and I don't think much. But when I open the Task Manager, there is nothing outside the list of active programs and options to put an end to these tasks, go to another, or create a new. Two menus at the top are not present, nor are the name of the program itself. Because the name bar is not there, the ability to minimize full screen, or close is also absent.
I'm having a problem with an old game that also worked fine a few weeks where, after having worked for about a minute (literally in a minute), the entire computer freezes up. I have 16 GB of RAM, and because of the difficulties with the Manager, I am unable to see how it is actually used in this case. Although I guess it's all... The game is 2000, and really should not do that to my computer, I just got back in the month of August (2014).
And yet, everything was working fine a few weeks ago. If there is anything that I'm missing could easily solve the problems I am experiencing with the Task Manager, I would appreciate a response. I'm not a complete fool when it comes to technology, and I don't know I just pressed something at some point and it is easy to reverse. But I would appreciate help with this one.

I recently started using Windows 8. But after a few days, I started facing a problem with the Task Manager. When I press Ctrl + Shift + ESC, the Task Manager opens for a second and quits immediately. I tried using other ways to open the Task Manager, as a right click on the taskbar, and then click the Ctrl + Alt + Delete option too. IM facing the same problem. Help, please.
Hello
You can try after the ways to solve this problem:
1. open Windows Explorer and navigate to the following location.
C:\Windows\System32
Look in this folder for the file taskmgr.exe
If you find the file, double click on this file. This starts the Task Manager?
2. If above a breaks down, then try to run command SFC/scannow in prompt with administrative privileges.
I hope that you are the administrator of your Windows 8. If nothing is done, go to update:

Hello
I have a HP Pavilion dv7 with Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit). Until Monday, there is no problem whatsoever with my computer at all. I have not installed or uninstalled, whatever it be, changed settings, done anything differently with my computer. Suddenly it now "hangs" on the screen of closing down. I'll try to reboot or stop using the menu start, and it will stay on this screen indefinitely. Now, I have to manually turn off the computer. I spent on the Support page and studied the Performance issues, and all I get is I have Visual settings that interfere with closing... except my Visual settings have not changed in any way. In addition, I can not properly update my computer or do a system restore because the computer will shut down.
In addition, the Task Manager will appear no more. I'll press ctrl alt del and nothing appears, just the green icon in the corner of the screen. If I try to right click, no response.
I tried to do a full system scan in Norton Internet Security but she "leaves" scanning. It will scan correctly when I'm in safe mode, but it comes with no virus, trojan or other problem.
So in essence, I tried everything I can think of to fix my computer nothing works. It was working perfectly before this week. I have no idea where to go. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
G
HelloMethod 1.
First check to see if there are external devices attached to the computer, if so remove and check.Method 2.Step A.Start your computer in safe mode and check if it starts.Troubleshooting in safe mode
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshooting-problems-while-in-safe-modeStep B.If it starts on the desktop in safe mode and then set your computer to the clean boot and check if it starts successfully. If it starts successfully can be a third-party application or service is causing the problem. We can use the approach 50 / 50 to narrow down the root cause of the problem.
See the article below for instructions on how to start your computer in a clean boot state. How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: When the diagnosis is complete, don't forget to reset your computer to normal startup. Follow step 7 in the above article.Method 3.
I recommend to run the restore of the system in safe mode and check if it works very well.
