I found an app that was free in the blackberry world called docushortcut that allows to make the shortcut icons and choose what they watch as I installed it and tried it... has been able to connect my texts with him through my blackberry hub... it comes with a red light on the corner, but at least I can access my texts quickly without sifting through hub.   To display the full file of images or files extension, try the following steps:

  Open the job > click 'Organize' > click 'folder and Search Options '.
  * Click on the "View" tab
  * Uncheck the option "Hide Extensions of known file types".
  * Apply the settings.
