• Why can I not use the font Helvetica Neue LT Std?

  Bo is just fine. Unless the font you want to edit with is actually installed on your system, there is no way for Acrobat allow editing text that uses this font, regardless of whether or how much of the police is embedded in the PDF itself. There are technical and legal issues related to it, or which can be quickly explained here.

  Since I don't have Helvetica Neue LT Std installed on my computer systems, I tried using the function to change to the text from Acrobat to edit the text with the different faces of Helvetica Neue LT Std family. No problem! Assuming you are actually trying to change the text, if you have the fonts installed on your system, you should be good to go, so to speak.

  HOWEVER, be aware that there is a big difference between the use of a font for text editing rather than using the same font for a field of forms (including form fields that are not the user to fill out)! Restrictions on what fonts you can use forms fields are much stricter. A font used for a field of forms should not only be installed on your system for the creation of the field forms, but police must also have the license field allows Editable Embedding. Creating a field of forms with a particular font issue in Acrobat integrating all the glyphs of the police in the PDF file such as anyone who receives the PDF can fill form fields using the specified font, even if this font is not installed on their system. In reality, more fonts available on the market allow only the Preview and print Embedding which is inadequate for use in forms. All Adobe Original family (designed by or specifically for Adobe) fonts like Myriad Pro, Minion Pro, Adobe Garamond Pro, etc. allow Editable Embedding. Unfortunately, the family of police Helvetica Neue LT Std (coming from Linotype) provides only the preview and printing incorporation and as such, cannot be used for the fields of PDF Forms.

• After update 12.1 - Unable to load fonts "^ 0" "Helvetica Neue" error

  I've just updated after effects CC 12.1, and I now get the following error during the launch:

  After effects WARNING: failed to load fonts "^ 0" "Neue Helvetica".

  After pressing OK, I get another error:

  Cannot load fonts required for the After Effects interface. Please replace fonts or reinstall After Effects.

  And then a final error:

  After that the effects can't continue: unexpected failure during the application startup

  I'm on Mac OS 10.9 and it worked very well with the 12.0.1 patch. I checked that Helvetica Neue is installed and all other CC applications work fine. Any ideas?

  The after effects CC (12,2) update solves this problem.

• Can't find helvetica neue fonts typekit

  I have a PSD that uses helvetica neue helvetica neue light and heavy.  However, these exact fonts are not listed in Typekit, but it is an Adobe font.  Is anyone able to get these fonts with the plan "portfolio and or performance?  If this isn't the case, would you recommend that I buy fonts from fonts.com or similar vendor?

  Adobe don't group any version of Helvetica with all applications. Neither is it available through TypeKit.You can find the alternative for Helvitica of Adobe Typekit.

  Photoshop uses the operating system fonts. Windows has no Helvetica, because of Mac OSX. Therefore, it will show up in version Mac of Photoshop.You could have used it as well.

  You must buy separately and install it yourself on Windows, or buy a Mac.

• Helvetica Neue offer no more Adobe?

  I bought licenses to some of the Helvetica Neue Std fonts families back in 2012. I'm looking to add a little, but they are not available as a complete set of Font Folio. Another way to buy individual licenses? Adobe seems to have removed access to the 'classic' Type Library'... of the suggestions?
  PS: I am a user of CC but TypeKit does not offer Helveticas.

  Adobe licenses is more directly than the Font Folio and via service TypeKit fonts.

  To fonts by Adobe, FAQ | Adobe> you will find pointers as to where you are now licensed.

  In summary, fonts Adobe (i.e., Adobe Originals like Minion, Myriad, etc.) are now available through Fontspring to Adobe | Fontspring>. Other policies may under license through Fonts.com to Fonts.com>.

• Helvetica Neue stop working when I updated to CS5.5

  I just bought CS5.5 and updgraded to CS3. When I open InDesign 5.5 to run, none of my Helvetica Neue font family works. It is by default at the time and all the files that I never created the text all the default values. Helvetica Neue is our cast of company I use 99.9% of the day. I bought the police doctor, because I assumed that there was too many versions of the same font run, a system check and clean a BUNCH of stuff. Still does not work. I have reset preferences InDesign 5.5 and still no change. I snatched the police one of our other computers and reinstalled and still does not work. In FontBook it has warnings that there are multiply copies but does not help the copies of the deactivation. Next, I opened the old 3 InDesign and here, there are all my fonts and they WORK!

  So now, I checked all my programs:

  InDesign CS3: Helvetica Neue works

  The inDesign CS5.5: Does not work

  Illustrator CS3: works

  Illustrator CS5.1: works

  Photoshop CS3: works

  Photoshop CS5.1: Does not work

  I have no idea of what happens, I hope someone has an idea and can help me.

  I'd just uninstall 5.5 and try again.

  My computer is a Mac 10.6.8.

  It may have been installed in the fonts for the InDesign program folder.

  If all goes well, you kept a previous version of InDesign installed.

  Open CS4, type some Helv Neue, select

  Type > find font

  In this dialog box, select Helv N, choose more information

  It will show you the path to where the font is installed.

  Install in the OS Fonts folder or the folder of fonts for the CS5.5 ID program

• Web site shows me the ugly or illegible fonts after installation of Helvetica neue. (Firefox)

  Some sites like Yahoo and Facebook show me ugly fontn and its very disturbing. I tried to uninstall the neue Helvetica and the problem has been resolved, BUT I really need the police for the work.
  PS: I use the last version of Firefox. No problem seen in chrome on this, but I don't like using chrome.

  I use Windows 7 as operating system. I'm a regular Firefox user for a long time. Recently I have 5-6 families installed fonts Helvetica, off those we were HelveticaNeue-BoldOutline, it's type of contour of police. After installation of this font my Firefox display correctly website. I enclose my fonts setting details. As is the site display in HelveticaNeue-BoldOutline which is very difficult to read. At the same time same site is correctly is visible in internet Explorer.

  Or maybe a person most familiar with the Mac fonts could propose another approach (I'm a Windows person). Actually, I see now that you're a Windows person, too.

  Since 21 July update for a vulnerability of Microsoft Font, character in the omnibox display is faulty.

  The reset Firefox feature can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox to its factory default condition while saving your vital information.

  I want to keep only the system fonts and remove all the fonts that are installed outdoors or by me.

  but I don't know that that system that are manually installed fonts.

  Please give me a solution I can delete unnecessary or manually installed fonts.

• Bengali fonts problem in Windows

  I am from Bangladesh. Until recent years, we were quite used to do everything in the internet in English. But things have changed a lot now there are a lot of sites on the web in our own language. People really like read and write in Bengali in the internet. The problem is due to reasons (I don't know why) in all newer versions of windows (xp, vista), a font named Vrinda was chosen as taken by default unicode supported Bangla fonts. I am sorry to say that this was not a good decision at all. Not only me, all the Bangladeshis around the world are going to say that. This font is really in trouble. Others it is bad looking for typographs, in the Web page is still too small to read. These days, we install other fonts (for example. ) SiyamRupali) in our computer and use one kind offontfixer of software to change the default windows fonts.

  Please tell me how I can inform people of Microsoft about this problem so that they change the default font in all future versions of windows.

  When you run this code, I get a "Eception exception: Application does not; process is completed. Most of the time the screen is drawn, and then the error occurs. It sometimes occurs without painting the screen at all.

  To put this code inside an anonymous thread class, the screen is continuously repainting, which gives a "VM:THDRr = too_many_threads" on the console log. Finally the application crashes with an 'uncaught exception '.

  The code without the lines of code-fonts-all works fine.

  Two things:

  First of all, don't instantiate not a font within this routine of painting. There is a performance problem. Instantiate the police elsewhere and simply refer to the current font to object.

  Second, affecting policies precipitated an invalidate(), where another call to object. This is a recursive call, and there is no way out of this loop of 'painting '. Each call to object then change the font, causing another call to pain(). In the business, we call this the dreaded 'endless loop '.

  So, take care of #1 and #2 will disappear.
