• Font problem after updating MS omnibox are a vulnerability

  I have some strange fonts like this & nbsp; of & nbsp; on all the Web pages I visit.
  I think I should just see the ampersand symbol. That I can type in email or even now &.

  I have 922 fonts in my police folder in Control Panel. This create a few problems. When I start excel or vlc it show msg that you have more than 500 fonts or another msg.

  I want to keep only the system fonts and remove all the fonts that are installed outdoors or by me.

  but I don't know that that system that are manually installed fonts.

  Please give me a solution I can delete unnecessary or manually installed fonts.

• Bengali fonts problem in Windows

  I am from Bangladesh. Until recent years, we were quite used to do everything in the internet in English. But things have changed a lot now there are a lot of sites on the web in our own language. People really like read and write in Bengali in the internet. The problem is due to reasons (I don't know why) in all newer versions of windows (xp, vista), a font named Vrinda was chosen as taken by default unicode supported Bangla fonts. I am sorry to say that this was not a good decision at all. Not only me, all the Bangladeshis around the world are going to say that. This font is really in trouble. Others it is bad looking for typographs, in the Web page is still too small to read. These days, we install other fonts (for example. ) SiyamRupali) in our computer and use one kind offontfixer of software to change the default windows fonts.

  Please tell me how I can inform people of Microsoft about this problem so that they change the default font in all future versions of windows.

  When you run this code, I get a "Eception exception: Application does not; process is completed. Most of the time the screen is drawn, and then the error occurs. It sometimes occurs without painting the screen at all.

  To put this code inside an anonymous thread class, the screen is continuously repainting, which gives a "VM:THDRr = too_many_threads" on the console log. Finally the application crashes with an 'uncaught exception '.

  The code without the lines of code-fonts-all works fine.

  Two things:

  First of all, don't instantiate not a font within this routine of painting. There is a performance problem. Instantiate the police elsewhere and simply refer to the current font to object.

  Second, affecting policies precipitated an invalidate(), where another call to object. This is a recursive call, and there is no way out of this loop of 'painting '. Each call to object then change the font, causing another call to pain(). In the business, we call this the dreaded 'endless loop '.

  I have a problem with the publication of my animated movie in CC to animate. Some computers don't recognize the font on Google Chrome that I chose in my animation. Firefox never recognize.

  I don't know how to fix.

  You can try to use the type of static text in HTML5 Canvas document for WYSIWYG experience and see if that helps?

  PS: The static text in the document of the canvas is converted to outlines when publishing to preserve the WYSIWYG experience. If you have a requirement that you need to preserve the text in the js to output file, then use a dynamic text with Typekit web font for experience of consistency.

• Font problems - selection of fonts with an arrow

  I have fun site that works well. I want to change a policy of one of the words (the label to submit the form)

  When I highlight the word and try to choose a new font, I CAN choose any font that does NOT the "arrow" "carrot" on the right of its name in the menu font.

  All the fonts that has the arrow on the right, it will even make out. I tried mousing over the carrot to pull down the different weights in the police (I guess that's what it's for) still nothing.

  I do not use suitcase.

  Has anyone else had this problem - I have something set wrong?

• Font problem flash not fixed by removing MS Update

  Hello

  I'm having the problem that apparently many had with the police disappearing due to the MS Update KB2753842.

  I applied the update and rebooted and still no fonts on stage in a simple movie that has only 1 static text on the ground on this issue.

  I tried with several different fonts and they all don't work.

  All embedded fonts.

  I work in Flash Professional, but for some reason any could not ask the question here, so I'm trying here.

• Newbie question of layout - content placement on a wedding invitation and the cursive font problem

  Hello

  I just want to say that I am a complete newbie to InDesign. I literally installed it for the first time ever the other night. I have a subscription to creative cloud for utilities to video editing, but to be responsible for creating a wedding announcement I realized I should give it a go. Can't be THAT hard, right?

  In fact, I managed to squeeze in something that was not half bad (by my standards), but I have two outstanding issues that I couldn't understand so far. In addition, I know really anything about jargon. So please forgive me for my childish descriptions of the things that you guys probably have good words for.

  1. main page layout

  The invitation (the size of the paper) is not a size that exists as a preset. It is 22 cm x 16.4 cm using landscape, and there is a vertical in the center fold, so that it can be folded into a small "magazine." Well, if do you this and count the first page page 1, then everything I do goes to page 3 - the right hand, 'inside '. When I created the document in InDesign, I got the dimensions in there, I said to create a two column layout and tried to imitate the size of the fold (only a few millimetres). On the screen, it looks good, but when I print on my Canon MG8250, whole body text (whether it is all centered, as horrible old Webdesign) is obviously placed too far to the left. The left side of a line of text-based is 1.9 cm on the left side of the page (the fold in the middle of the paper), while the right side of the same text is 3.5 cm on the right side of the page. Another shorter line is 2.7 cm on the left side and 4.4 cm on the right side (all somewhat approximate measures). All the text boxes are made to be the same width as the part "title safe" page (i.e. guidelines rose/mauve InDesign do for me) and the text is centered in their breast. Now, my skills of basic math tells me "How about moving the right margin approximately 0.8 cm to the right - that will do look right!" - However, which is the right way forward on this issue? Someone at - it care to weigh for helping me see the light?

  2 centering of the italic fonts

  Two pieces of text uses a font italic - the names of the bride and groom, and the names of the people that the invitation is for. I liked the look of the police "Künstler Script", so I went with it. However, compared to the rest of the text (which uses by default is Minion Pro for now), the text in italics is not centered at all. Of course, I see the problem of where the 'Center' is in fact, because the base line is a little more to the left of the top letters. As far as I know that a layman is that InDesign and I have very different ideas about this balance actually means. Compared to the other lines of text, the Künstler Script lines seem to be much further to the right. I did another measure. Pixel the most left one line name to pixel more to the left of the next line below, we have 0.7 cm difference (the name being wider line). However, the pixel the rightmost line name compared to the pixel more to the right of the line below is 1.5 cm further to the right. Is it possible this Center in a way which actually makes it appear centered to a human being?

  It's very simple bug and workaround is as simple as changing one line in the output html file. For some reason any police Edge is not added to propersly, for example, it is

• After Effects CS4 / Illustrator scaling of fonts problem

  I created a file Adobe Illlustrator consisting of three layers of text in three sizes of fonts, 1296, 72 and 6 points on a computer running WIndows Vista with CS4 (all updates) using the Impact font without mods.  Then I used it in After Effects to create a pixel annimation 1280/720 can evolve from the largest to the smallest font.  I have anti-aliasing more accurate film and NOMINAL value is not defined in the timeline panel.  As you can see from the example, it makes good to a point, then it starts to Pixelize. I reproduced the problem in several other scenarios.

  However, when I create the annimation even in After Effects, using the same Impact font, I get the smooth fonts from small to large, see below.  Obviously, I do something wrong, fade when I import the file in AE (I tried importing as images and vector Art), or I create the .ai incorrectly (just using default values).

• missing weird font problem

  Hello indesigners.

  I installed a font on my machine, I have applied to my text frames.

  but when I open my indesign document, its tells me the only fonts missing.and

  letter appears in a pink block indicating the letter T is missing!

  What is this weird problem?

  What is this weird font? Is there something special about the T as if it were a replacement or cyclical or something? What happens if select you and open the glyphs Panel?

• Mac to PC fonts problem

  Not sure where the appropriate forum is to ask this question. Opening files in Indesign to a body; their fonts will be dependent not on PC here. Note, they are almost all fonts True Type or open Type so, they should be open. That this has something to do with the fact that they use Adobe Type Manager or a 3rd group policies management application?

  I can not actually move the fonts into the folder of fonts on the pc.

  What do you mean by "recognized"? Windows systems will 'see' Fonts Mac flavored, but only the data fork, which is empty. The news of real fonts in these fonts are strored in the range of resources that never use Windows. OT fonts are cross-platform, so they should work 00 fine it is only the TT and T1 fonts that have a problem. If the font size is listed as 0 bytes, as Dov has said, it is a Mac font only.
