  Hi everyone, im new here.

  (My English is not very good, but in any case I'll do my best to be understable).

  First of all, I'm going to introduce myself:

  My name is Díaz de Miguel (South America, Chile) and now I'm working with a team on what we called 'Santa Maria Mobile Challenge' here in my University (UTFSM, Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria) and we have an app for phones mobile Blackberry... IM in charge of the User Interface of the application... so, here's my question:

  I conceive an idea of how it looks at the application (we are new to programming in java and J2ME for Blackberry), I designed in Photoshop, and with a few readings, I realize how can I do this on J2ME BB.

  In my research on J2ME and Clases de BB I think I can do this with HorizontalFieldManagers and VerticalFieldManagers... tie them a background image for each FieldManager (of course I have to divide my original and more image "images") and connect (or trigger) behaviour when he focused...

  The idea of this is to make each component of our application classes:

  IE: Where it says "task 1", which blocks will be a HorizontalFieldManager with 3 VerticalFieldManagers, one with the «!» Icon, the Second bearing the name of the task, in this example is "task 1", and the third will be the other information... and perhaps on the third HorizontalFieldManagers 2 more...)

  Well well... the idea of this post is to know if im on the right way to apply for ugly or there is a better way... I accept all the comments... I want to win this contest.

  Lenovo also has a data destruction tool, but I've never used. You can find it here:

  For DBAN, you need an external drive to boot from to run the tool. Not sure if there is a different option for the tool of Lenovo. Once the process is complete, there will be nothing left on the disk. A new installation of the OS will be responsible for creation of partition and formatting.

• Hello, I'm new here, I'm trying to find how to make my windows vista machine have a static IP address.

  The reason for this: British Colombia, I'm trying to port forward on my router 2wire AT & T. Everytime I turn my laptop off the IP reset and I can't do a check port on port forwarding, I did the day before. So I need a static IP address so that when I turn off my machine and then again on the INVESTIGATION period does not reset. Could I get a good suggestion on where to find this info.? I asked on other forums, but it seems that those who are not very active, and it's frustrating day waiting to get an answer lol. I really need my games to have a port before getting a low latency (ms). And also for download speeds appropriate downloading patches. Unfortunately, I do not know if my router 2wire has a UPnP enable/disable option of opening and closing ports properly. But I guess that even if it is not that I could always get the port forwarding to work. Thnx so you can really help me out here, I really appreciate it...

  Also, I looked everywhere for the forums. I can't seem to find no to no the case, Idk where to go or what to do lol...

  I thought about it, I had to use my routers IP address of my default gateway on my machine...

  I have an AIO 948 printer and for years had a ng bad espain on the number of prints each cartridge provides. He promises 585 when newly installed - this time I counted each impression, and now when he says that it is empty ( but experience, explains that he will yet deliver ca 30-40) gave 136 prints

  It's a lot less Quen 585

  I have found no place to ask this question about dell sites - it's not on my customer number - this is a general question whether dell deliver what they say they do - 585 prints pr cassette.

  Dell printers I had for about 6 years or more - it's a lot of cassettes - and I have such a bad feeling of being deceived here. Please explain that to me, someone - or at least give me a maildress who will read it and explain.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Hi there - I am new here but experiencing problems with my Storm 2 audio streaming

  I have terrible problems with my Storm 2 like very weak signal in the House - when my partner on the same network, but using a curve has no problems (she gets 4 bars of signal, I'm lucky if I get 2)

  also, I can't stream audio from a site I want to hear - something that she is capable of doing.

  When I try to live from a radio station, I get the following message: «!» "This selection contains no valid songs" memory buffer... is displayed in the upper right corner, but no connection is ever made.

  Any ideas what I need to do to correct the thing?

  Also I can listen to or download mp3s I put it online for access via my storm (unfortunately I use mac os x 10.4.11 and the blackberry desktop manager is only for os x 5.5 or higher - mark/space missing syncalso has serious problems with the synchronization of all media to the storm)

  could do with some really helps and have had a good look but can find very little to help me so it's a bit of a long first post, I'm afraid.

  Hi guys you guys probably know more on laptops and that's why I ask you guys. I have a HP laptop that's I think 2 years already obtained as a gift. I used it for the College and some bottom turn games (mainly Morrowind). I wanted to just ask questions on my laptop.

  First how do you as a factory restore? I know there is this option somewhere so you can explain to me what excatly is going to do? And the reason why I'm doing this because that... I don't know why... lol probably because I won't use it.

  Secondly, I get a new laptop that would do you recommend? I have enough savings to work so I want a new laptop HP. Can you give me the best HP laptop right now that can run games like Morrowind, Skyrim etc. Anything will do.

  Because I have mac os 10.7 Lion preferences system is different in other OS x 10.7 lion os.

  Here is the solution for 10.7 Lion: go to system-> Language Preferences & uncheck the text-> go to the first tab-> language-> tap on edit-> Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and other languages you do not use.

  don't forget to restart your computer after the process.

  For Dreamweaver, see - http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver.html. You'd be better advised to learn html and css before trying to create your own website as long as without these you will encounter problems, both in understanding and using dreamweaver.

  It is certainly possible.  Tell us what you mean by 'formatting automatically' and we will tell you how to do it.

  Now, foolonthehill, it appears that your device works fine. Your video demo working which means that if you need to move vids on the memory card, it will work.

  YouTube also works very well (which is also expensive in my case), some vids/websites are not supported for mobile/blackberry devices. You can provide the URL of a vid you trying to watch?

  But it seems all is well and your device is nice and healthy!
