Computer (Dell PC) stops just at random, not stop, stop

My Dell PC just turned off.  No warning, just turns off.  Then he said: windows is recovering from an unexpected shutdown.  Somwtimes it goes in a dump files and sometimes it doesn't.  Sometimes it's hot, and sometimes it isn't.  Without rhyme or reason.  It drives me crazy... does anyone have any suggestions?

Looks like a hardware failure or a problem with the socket that the computer is attached.
