Hide a column in a table view, but show it in another

I need to hide a column in a table view, but display it in another view of table in the same report. Is this possible?

Any help on this is appreciated.

Hi, VNC,.

If you're clever with javascript, you can probably write a script that would set the DISPLAY None CSS property to hide the column in the table view you want, but don't leave in the view that you want.

    Hello

    It is a simple parameter, it is unpacking already...

    The property "of the topic folder" of your columns allows you to enter the required text.

    PS: Do you really have columns in your field with the name of the month? Is it not something better managed with a hierarchy of real time and using a pivot to display the month columns? In this case the grouping of quarters is already there...

  • Hide a column in a view, but show in other

    Hi all.
    I need to hide a column in the view of the 'Table', but the column should appear on the "PivotTable".
    I know we can hide pivot (exclude) and show on table, but I want to know if the opposite is possible.

    This is necessary because I do a selector to display for writeback. And I don't want to see all the columns to writeback table mode. But he needs to be there on the PivotTable.
    Please let me know if it is possible.
    Thank you.
    Vinay

    Yes, we can do that.

    Extend the check on the 'skin' in the tab formatting of column you want to display in the table.

    Now, duplicate, the same view and in the pivot table column initially you will not see the displayed column.

    Now in the properties check on "hidden" in the "topics"format"and you won't see her again and now uncheck the 'hidden' and shoud you will see the column displayed in the pivot view"

    This way, you will have the column hidden in the table view and displayed in the PivotTable.

  • How to hide the column in a table in the adf.

    I created the table of the ADF and surround it in the collection of panels, the data in the table from the bean to support variable. Depending on the State, there are a few columns that must hide with the user. I used visible = "false", where the false value will come from backing bean. However the user to the table always have the ability to display the column. Is there any one to hide the column with the user at all times. Fixing the code example:

    Best regards, Atanas.

    Hello

    On the bean of the jsf/jspx page of your table, where you set your table method, you must code as follows:

    public void setYourTable(RichTable t1) {
        this.YourTable = t1;

        List list = t1.getChildren();
            for (UIComponent component : list ){
                if (componente instanceof RichColumn){

            ((RichColumn)componente).setDisplayIndex(theOrderNumberYouWantoToSetToTheColumn); //set a number order to the column of the table
            ((RichColumn)componente).setVisible(true/false); //true or false to show or not

            }
        }

    }

    For each column, you must set the number columns are ordered by, and whether they are visible or not.

  • Hide the columns of the table

    I have a subform (say page 1-> dy) which plays the role of a table row. It has 3 fields H1, H2, H3.

    I want to hide the H1 at the click of a button.

    In the click event, I wrote page1.dy.H1.presence = "hidden";

    This work very well if the dy has only a single instance. If it has more than one instance, it hides only the first. Can you please help on how to hide all instances of sub form?

    I work in LC 7.1

    Thank you

    This is resolved.

    1 of 5 email ACCOUNTS receive mail OK, but as soon as you leave this account and that you come back, nothing appears in the Inbox. The status bar shows however, that there are 32 emails it even if the Inbox is devoid of any text.

      Using Search, I can find ALL 32 emails by searching for a word in the subject field or the body fields. The mails ARE there! They just do not display in the Inbox.

    Then... How the hell can I get the Inbox to display its content again?

    It worked until the day before yesterday when I read an e-mail from a reliable source and it automatically disappeared, along with all others in the Inbox. All other accounts are working very well.

       I tried creating a new email account but it wouldn't let me, giving me an error that the "incoming already exists". No number or anything; it come when I click DONE in the creation process. The new account will not write to the disk.

    I ran NOrton, AVG, MalWare Bytes, Windows Defender, Spybot AV and the other that I forgot the name of that time. ALL showed nothing found after each live scan success. I'm reasonable sure, I have no malicious software.

    Emails from this account are quite important, and I don't want to lose them if possible; they are for a Committee planning the 50th high-school reunion.

    Windows 7 HP, Dell XPS L702, 6 Gig of RAM, Intel i7 processor and lots of disk space. I've also compacted without change. The messages are all still there, but nothing shows in my Inbox; It is empty. I only see them using Find Messages from words I know are in them.

      Happy to provide any other info needed to evaluate this. Oh, the account Sends OK too; it's a POP3 account setup.

  • display / hide column of the table running

    Are there known issues with display / hide a column of the table at run time?

    I have a table that contains a column with a check box and another with a radio button.  If the user is allowed to select more than one row in the table (as indicated by a form variable), then I want to hide the column of radio and checkbox column.  If not, I want to show / hide the contrary.

    I show / hide the column header too.  When I preview the form, however, the data in the table appears "scoot" left and placed in the column that is hidden, so to speak.

    Here is a view of the design of the table:

    tableDesignView.jpg

    And a view of the execution of the table.  You can see the radio is hidden, but the "account number" column wants to crush in the (hidden) radio column,

    tableRunTimeView.jpg

    Here is the script, I'm very confident in this small snippet of code because the lines of account were filling wonderfully until I added the column of radio buttons and the script to show/hide.

    Put the account data in the table

    function

    setAccountData (objAccountRow, objAccountItem) //Pass in the line and data to complete line

    {

    stuff the line

    objAccountRow.accountNumber.rawValue

    = objAccountItem.accountNumber;

    objAccountRow.accountName.rawValue

    = objAccountItem.accountName;

    objAccountRow.accountBalance.rawValue

    = objAccountItem.accountBalance;

    display the check box or radio button, depending on the number of accounts they are allowed to select (as specified by the form variable)

    var searchNumAccounts = objFragment.resolveNode("searchNumAccounts").value; Variable //Form

        if (searchNumAccounts==1)

    { //show the column of radio buttons and hide the checkbox column }

    hideObject (objResultsSubform.accounts.HeaderRow.txtSelect);   <-it's exaggerated here, to hide the table for each row header column,...

    hideObject (objAccountRow.accountSelected);

    showObject (objResultsSubform.accounts.HeaderRow.txtRadioSelect);

    showObject (objAccountRow.radioSubform.radioGroup.selected);

    }

    on the other

    { //show the checkbox column and hide the column of radio }

    hideObject (objResultsSubform.accounts.HeaderRow.txtRadioSelect);

    hideObject (objAccountRow.radioSubform.radioGroup.selected);

    showObject (objResultsSubform.accounts.HeaderRow.txtSelect);

    showObject (objAccountRow.accountSelected);

    }

    }

    OK I got it. The table object implements a container to contain the fields. You hid the ok fields, but you then never reset the row in the table to have only two columns. I copied the parameter of the XML source so that I would have the exact width and then deleted the one I wanted to hide. Now everything works fine.

  • Get columns from the table shown in the iterator

    Hello...

    I have the table in a collection of standard panel.  So, I can show/hide certain columns in the table using the columns in the view menu.

    Then I'm trying to do is export to excel (using apache poi) by looping through the table iterator.  What I can't do is search if the column is not displayed.  I don't want all the columns that are exported without worrying.  How can I achieve this?

    My bean is similar to the following for loop through the iterator:

    BindingContext bindingContext = BindingContext.getCurrent ();

    BindingContainer bindingContainer = bindingContext.getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    DCIteratorBinding dcIteratorBinding = (DCIteratorBinding) bindingContainer.get ("EmployeesIterator");

    lines [] oracle.jbo.Row = dcIteratorBinding.getAllRowsInRange ();

    for (oracle.jbo.Row line: lines) {}

    {for (String colName: {row.getAttributeNames ())}

    output to excel cell here using row.getAttribute (colName) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString)

    }

    }

    Thank you.

    Hello

    It's like ask the engine in your car to what colors the seats have. The iterator doesn't know anything about the visible state of a column. If the displayed columns must be determined from the table instance (richeTableau)

    The following article solves exactly the requirement that you have: Oracle ADF: Build Your Own it comes with a sample that you can download here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2013/13-jul/o43adf-1940728.zip

    Have a look at CustomPanelCollectionBean.java:

    The method and code that you want to look for is:

    private String getRowHtml (row rw) {}

    StringBuffer rowHtmlBuf = new StringBuffer();

    Read visible columns in the table of the table instance. This way the

    PanelCollection can be used to show/hide columns and exclude

    printing to HTML

    Table richeTableau = this.getRichTable ();

    the list of columns determine the print attributes

    The list of columns in = table.getChildren ();

    int attrCount = columns.size ();

    rowHtmlBuf.append (this.addRowStart ());

    for (int i = 0; i)< attrcount;="" i++)="">

    for all visible columns, add columns to print

    If (((RichColumn) columns.get (i)) .isVisible ()) {}

    If (rw.getAttribute (i) instanceof ViewRowSetImpl) {}

    ignore the collections of detail used for master/detail example

    constraints in British Colombia ADF

    } ElseIf (rw.getAttribute (i) instanceof oracle.jbo.domain.Timestamp) {}

    shorten date to exclude the infromation times

    SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat("dd-MM-yyyy");

    String dateFormatString = sdf.format (((Timestamp) rw.getAttribute (i)) .getData ());

    rowHtmlBuf.append (this.addDataCell (dateFormatString));

    } else {}

    Prnt attribute values and if sure that null values don't raise a NPE. Add a white character to NULL

    attribute values

    rowHtmlBuf.append (this.addDataCell (rw.getAttribute (i)! = null? rw.getAttribute (i) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString ():))

    " "));

    }

    }

    }

    rowHtmlBuf.append (this.addRowEnd ());

    Return rowHtmlBuf.toString ();

    }

    You need to access the Rich Table instance (for example using the JSF component binding) to then compare the attribute in the iterator with the visibility of the column

  • Hide a column that is used in the custom view.

    Hello! I would like to know if there is a way to do the following: I have a vision based on a table (Configuration Manager - views).  I've specified to display 4 columns appears in the view, so that we can change the columns without going into the database.  In the entry 'default display Expression' under the information tab of the view, I've specified how these columns should be displayed on the user interface. My problem: I don't want the fourth column in the UI at all, but I want this column to be always accessible by administrators via the view!  It is possible to specify somehow NOT to display this column, but always use it in the view? Thanks for the suggestions! Anya

    I'm not aware of any problem with the many points of view; Maybe, except for the handling potential/ease of use of Config Mgr if you really have a lot of them (regardless of the table). If there is no performance overhead, it must be processed by the database itself, and it will be very minimal.

    Terminology of the AAU for views is unfortunately not very consistent with one of the database. In the database, a view is just a subselect lines or columns in the table that could be used in some cases (for example, a user is granted to read data from a view, but not directly of a table) of use. UCM, a view is (also) used to enter data, which is the ability of a Table does not have.

  • Trying to hide a column but the header reappear on the following pages

    Hi all

    Here is my little problem, I have a table, a bit normal. What I try to do is the following:

    I wish I could hide a full column based on the data. I was actually able to hide a column, but my problem is that when the table breaks into a second page, "header cell" on the second page of the column I hid reappear.

    Here's how I did my stash:

    -In table Initialize script, I check a condition, and if this condition is met, I'm hiding the header cell.

    If (Verif.name4_we.rawValue == "" or Verif.name4_we.isNull) then

    HeaderRow.Cell3.presence = "hidden".

    endif

    -For normal lines, I always check the same exact condition and if the condition is met, I hide the cell.

    If (data. Page1.test.Table1.Verif.name4_we. RawValue == ' ' or data. Page1.test.Table1.Verif.name4_we. IsNull) then

    .its presence $ = "hidden".

    endif

    This facility works pretty well if I only have one page:

    Before.png
    5 is my header name (I know it might be confusing, I'm sorry), it's page 1, column 6, and 7 are in fact hidden.

    It's what happens on the following pages:

    after.png
    As you can see, only the header reappear, you can clearly see that the elements are still hidden, but because the header appear, it looks
    as there was a full column.

    Does anyone have an idea of what could be my problem?

    Thank you very much!

    Are you able to change the width of your columns?

    This is the last trip, I did:

    You must first, double-click the rule to open the palettes of drawing AIDS (or go into the top-> palettes-> drawing AIDS menu) and set the units to Points.

    You need tables and a structure, a table which will show real information and a structure that will be imported into your program with the correct width (column DialogResult.Cancel will have a value of 0.001 in the structure). The structure is hidden in the page layout.

    In your table initialize script, write something like this:

    Set the width of columns by using our structure.//Empty imported have a width of 0.001

    var width = Concat (data. Page1.struct.Col1, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.col2, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.col3, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.COL4, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.col5, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.col6, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.col7, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.COL8, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.col9, "pt."

    data. Page1.struct.col10, "pt")

    Table.columnWidths = width

    Explanation: You concatenate each rawValue of your table that contains the width of your columns with "pt" (the unit), in this way, you can set the widths of all columns in a single command (Table.columnWidths = width).

    This should resize the entire column, including the header. (It works on my side)
