hide the selection rectangle...

Hello!

I think remember me a small script that hides the selection rectangle (dotted bit) of a SWF embedded in a Web page?

Can you please specify?

Thank you.

I don't remember exact CSS code, th, but if you Google "swf dotted" you'll prbably will find various results.  I believe that the answer involves specifying the outline: none;  for the body or something to that effect.

  • Save the selection rectangle?

I have Mac OS X with PS CS5. Is there a way to save an image in which I selected part of an image and have the selection rectangle (running ants) to be part of the file is saved so that when I reopen it the file, the selection rectangle is always visible? Thank you.

With the marquee still in place, go to your layers palette and make a new layer, then with the new layer selected, add layer mask.

When you reopen the file, and you want to select the same area again, choose your empty layer and under Select, choose Load selection. Your selection of marqueed will be in place, and you can choose the layer you want to work on.

CS6 versions and below I could draw the rectangle from the corner of the selected rectangle one another. When I use CC it gives me the bounding box even though I am on the rectangle tool. You are probably using the new rectangle 'Live '. Try doing an Expand on the original one and see if that helps.

Recently, I have a few problems in PS CC with the selection Rectangle (m) tool. When I make a selection and then I change the size of the view, zoom in or out, or even when I pan the view moving from left to right, the selection ants disappear. When I deselect and then reselect the selection the selection becomes visible. This problem is actually a simple, but the fact that I don't see often the choice is very annoying. I hope someone can help me with this problem.

When the user clicks on an item in a control listbox, a ghost (dotted line) rectangle is drawn around the item and it persists even if all items in the listbox are deselected.

How can I make the rectangle of ghosts disappear once it has been created?

VI has begun: no Ghost is visible right now.

The Ghost is present on a selection of a single line:

present on the selection of two lines:

Present when several lines are selected:

Present when no line is selected:

Moreover, it took me a while to understand (by trial and error) for a listbox set to '0 or more elements' selected, how you execute the option to select the element 0 is to click on a single point, then the same point again the control key.  It's just another time I tried that neither planned menu contextual easily accessible "help" Panel objects such as assistance for the stuff on the block diagram.

And for what it's worth, I enclose a VI and not a preview because the manufacturing process extracts worked as well on the original message. He made a blunder towards the top of the structure of the event and the relations of property of the node with the listbox.  That's what it was supposed to look like at...

Another option is to put the Options bar of the Rectangle rounded to the path tool

Trash bolt for the background layer, hold down the Cmd key and click on the symbol of the new layer to layer below the image to white. Then edit > fill with white.

Return the image layer and draw the image as a path

Click the load as a selection path in the Panel traced

Edit > stroke and stroke with color

  • What happened to the ability to hide the "mobile dash" (CTRL/CMD (H) in Photoshop?  I can't see the edges of my selection with the mobile dotted lines in the way!

I used Photoshop since version 2.5 when it came to 16 disks.  In all versions I've bought over the years (many) up to CS3, I've always been able to use CTRL + H (Windows) or CMD + H (Mac) to hide the "mobile dash" edge of the selection.  This is extremely useful when doing all sorts of adjustments where the outline of the selection must be considered while "fiddling with the buttons" (so to speak).  Without being able to hide the limits of selection ("mobile dash"), I often have to get a better idea, cancel the selection, get disgusted that the edge is not what I want, then have to cancel, select new, try again... over and over again.   It is a SIMPLE feature, but the lack of it, driving me crazy.  HELP, I tried, but it doesn't have the height of the promise.  If there is a way to hide the dotted moving line, where is the menu item, and what the shortcut?

You can assign Ctrl/Cmd-H to hide the edges of the selection (Edit > keyboard shortcuts) only, if you want to hide everything, but you will be notified if any other function has the shortcut.
