Problem is it gets rid of color and shows that the peak through the text.  I wanted a draft of the text with the picture.  Is this possible?

  A screenshot of the sample is attached. Change is testimony after I have opened the pdf file after recording it and not stressing it. On opening the pdf file in any other pdf reader, its original color (black in this case) remained unchanged. The opacity was 72%.

• Not highlighting text

  With the help of Illustrator CS6 on a Mac.

  Highlight text I typed is no longer when I drag the slider on the characters, select all or SHIFT-arrow.

  UPDATE: it seems that the function "stressing" still works, as I am able to select text with an invisible nail, copy and paste then - but no color shows when highlighting.

  I can no longer highlight text when I compose an e-mail. I can highlight text in other programs (Word, etc.). When I say I'm being very specific - I can't, left-click the mouse and drag over the text to select.

  Try a system restore to a Date before the problem began:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

• To create a text box with a colored background but the text didn't appear not

  I'm doing a map of color-coding. It's just a black and white base card, but I filled in the cities with different colors using the paint bucket tool, to show which region they belong to.

  At the bottom of the map is a list of five regional offices and the offices of the area covered by each of them. I was hoping to create a box around the text, and then fill it (the box) with the color that corresponds to that particular region.

  Using the rectangle selection tool, I call a box around the text and filled with color. The opacity is set to 100%, so the text behind it disappeared completely. If I reduce the opacity of the text appears in grey, but I want the text to stand out and to be black.

  Using the Horizontal type tool I tried to redo the text everywhere again. However, the text I typed (see the text layer name) was not appear.

  Then I went in the character window and clicked rest character, hoping that the text arise, but it still does not work. The blue fill layer covers the original text, but is there a way to keep this original text, always be black, in order to keep the blue background? Or redo the entire text again in a new layer (as I tried to do below) would make more sense?

  

  Change the blending mode of the layer of color, darker color should work well.

• Highlight text

  Windows 10 64 bit all updates.  Trying to highlight text in Acrobat Reader ms.  In some PDF documents, I get a nice straight line yellow.  In another PDF files, I get a flickering yellow line that matches my mouse pointer.  Research on this topic, I learned that some PDF documents have apparently "allowed to comment" while others do not.  If it's the source of my problem, how can I activate comment on it?  - or to determine whether it is or is not enabled on any PDF file?

  Thank you very much.  You led me to a somewhat complex solution.  I use Snagit from Techsmith to capture items on the web I want to 'print '.

  With SnagIt, the print function lists several choices including, in addition to printers "Print to PDF" that I used to create the PDF file.  After further tests it turns out that the created PDF file is an image.  Back to Snagit, I used the function "save under" to save the capture of Snagit in PDF format.  Now that the computer is a file PDF text than the highlight feature works very well.

  The 'text' in your answer has led me in the solution.  Thanks again.

  I recently got a PDF file with a text box that is attached to the highlighted text. I need to find a way to do this for my own document.

  Annotation tool highlighted has a pop up that are associated with. The pop-up can be configured to show or not to show.

  The tool is available in all versions of Acrobat.

  The tool is available in Adobe Reader DC, XI and X.

  Use one of these applications and you will be able to "do this for my own document."

  Highlight and change the color of the text is not the same thing!

  Adobe Reader can highlight text using the highlight tool.  This cannot be a real text, not 'text' on a scanned image.

  To change the color of text you need Acrobat.
