History of bookmarks import without a backup available

A few days ago the motherboard on my computer is out, and the computer is Kaput. The hard drive is OK. I installed it as a secondary on my new computer drive (the two XP Win SP3s)

What was my local c:\drive is now my drive e:\, and that's where all my favorites and history are stored.

Of course there is no return to the top, so I need to know if there is any way I can get my settings of the e:\drive in my newly installed Firefox?

  1. Locate your old profile on your now secondary drive (E: /)

  2. Open your current profile (c: /)
    • In Firefox help > troubleshooting information > Application Basics section. Profile folder. Click on the button view the folder will open a window of the Explorer of your current profile folder
    • closing of Firefox
  3. Copy places.sqlite since your old profile folder (on E: /) to your profile folder (c: /)
    • ATTENTION: copy of the file on top of the current places.sqlite file will replace any bookmarks and history that you added in the new Firefox profile on your current C drive. /.
  4. Restart Firefox and your bookmarks and history should be available

Other files that you can copy from your old profile to new profile. Don't copy not the profile folder.
