  Hello. I'm upgrading our current infra (hosts/Essential licensing Vcenter / 3 ESXi 4.1).  vCenter Server has been upgraded OK, so I started to esxi upgrade hosts one by one.

  Upgrade process is OK, but after the reboot, upgrade marked as "not responding" in vsphere client server. I could ping this host and connect via ssh.

  When you try to reconnect the client host, got a strange error "this edition of vCenter only supports 3 host (s) in the inventory. After 3-4 hours of nothing to host

  has begun to show ok. After upgrading a second host, the same situation. I don't understand, how to solve it without waiting for another 4 hours.

  Restart of host management agents does not help.

  I remember I have a similar situation in the past where the number of licenses does not update as expected, i.e. required some time. What helped was to restart the server vCenter Server in my case. Maybe worth a try!

• ESXi/ESX host disconnects vcenter Server 60 seconds after the connection

  I recently made some changes to my VMware Lab.

  I'm under vCenter 5.1 with several hosts of ESXi 5.1.  My vCenter ran on one server ESXi 5.1 until I recently migrated there in a window of Windows 8 running VMware Workstation 9.   The vCenter is running normally and I am able to add hosts in stock, but they disconnect after approximately 60 to 90 seconds.  I believe that this issue is that the heart beats that are sent by the host do not reach the vCenter (port 902), I think that it is similar to the issue discussed in the following KB:http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1029919

  Here are my questions:

  1. the article describes download wireshark and run scripts.  Is there an easier away from do?  I'm literally just checking this single port of the ESXi host, there is no equivalent for telnet from an ESXi host?

  2 VMware Workstation 9 block ports or run its own firewall any?  Since this vCenter worked perfectly when running on the host ESXi 5.1 we know this isn't a firewall on the virtual computer problem, I have also checked the Windows 8 machine running VMware workstation and have verified that the windows firewall is disabled.  Windows firewall is not the issue.

  Please make sure you that you start ZPX file using the CC extensions (not the CS6 extensions Manager) Manager this addon should show under 'Others' in the CC extensions Manager.

  Please see the detailed procedure to install it.

  1. download the ZPX file by clicking on the button "Download before/after image slider" in the link below:

  https://creative.Adobe.com/addons/patches/4860/install

  2. Once downloaded, launch the CC extensions Manager and click on install and select the ZPX file. IT will be installed in 'Other' tab

  3. Once installation is complete, please check the download folder and you will find a file named musethemesbeforeafterimageslider.mulib.

  4. double-click on the file to add it to the Muse.

  If this isn't the case, please make the CC extensions manager has to this day. You can check it from creative cloud application.

• How can I control spacing after images?

  I've linked a book of FrameMaker with many GIFs in RoboHelp (using 3 TC). When I generated the WebHelp file, there was plenty of space between each image and the line of text after it. I checked my images and none of them had borders or margins applied to them. I manually changed the spacing before each line (Format > paragraph > spacing before) so that it is 0 pt. When I saw the subject, everything was going well. However, after I generated the CHM file, spacing was the same that he had been seized. Is there a parameter that replaces the manual changes I make to the formatting? I just need to change the line spacing of the paragraphs that are pictures just after , not line spacing for all paragraphs. Is there a way to control spacing after images?

  HR sees frame embedded in the object, so try to remove the space between the graphics and frame everything first. If you still have space, you should probably change the CSS for the graphics (could be a tag, not sure without checking) spacing.  BTW, you will probably need to use something other than the HR CSS Editor to accomplish any advanced CSS customization. I use Dreamweaver or Notepad.

  After viewing the site at the main directory HOST example... / host/45/37857485/html

  Go to the GoDaddy localize file manager html folder that your files are backed up to...

  Click the folder

  Select all the contect

  Click on move

  Choose the HTML (home folder)

  That all of your files will go to the desired destination.

  In Fdisk, the CHS numbers are arbitrary on modern disks. They are the time of BIOS and old disks with CHS geometry. Puts BCA from Mac 0-1023 (1024 cylinders), 0-255 (256 heads) and 0-63 (64 sectors). Modern disks far exceed those numbers and would drain them. Must match what is the triplet of start/end/size and it fits in GPT and MBR. You can put arbitrary 0,0,0 for CHS and you will see all issues on GPT disks.

  Please do not use TBIL to restore W10 to circa 1970-80 disks.

  Hi all! It's the first time I'm writing to the Fourms from Adobe, so I hope that everything is in accordance with their rules.

  Just for general information I used photoshop for almost 5 years, so I'm pretty comfortable with the software.

  In any case, I have a SERIOUS issue with the recording of my images... After I edit an image and save it to a usable file type (jpg, png, tiff) it becomes SEVERELY offbeat Green! I never had this problem, nor have I ever even heard of such a thing!

  As you can see in the picture above, in Photoshop, the image looks ordinary, but after recording in .jpg format it shifts VERY GREEN! I even tried disabling all layers to see that if it could be something that I was doing in the layers... Unfortunately this did not solve anything!

  This isn't the only picture I did this have to happen to be! It is another example of the same show. EXCEPT - when I quickly downloaded the image on my site (service myportfolio from Adobe), the image was very good! This time the fine image, despite Windows (and Google Drive) as the most environmentally friendly file.

  

  Below I've included every adjustment made in the respective files (food left - portrait, right) - so you could see if I really do something.

  Convert your files to sRGB before saving it on.

  You save on ProPhoto RGB, color only managed software interprets correctly.

  The file is not changed, but is the application used to view the file.

  I'm a noob in Web design. I don't really know what I'm doing. I do a job of admin light network on the side and I'm building a small site to advertise on the net. Coming up on something really stupid that I can't understand. I am getting a gap in IE. This gap appears after my main image. This gap does not appear in firefox. I can't seem to find an answer, no matter where I watched, including these forums.
  
  I downloaded a sample of my site so that you look at. I removed most of the content and all of the links except the services page. services.html seems correct. I spent hours comparing the services.html to the problem page and I can't find the problem.

• HP elitebook 6930p wifi works does not after imaging system

  I recently created an image of a hp elitebook 6930p and cloned it, when I noticed that the wifi does not work (although he was working at some point before I start Imaging). If I use an ethernet connection, internet works fine.

  I am running windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit on them.

  I have a good number of them and I installed a fresh windows OS on one and there is no problem with the wifi.

  Have you checked HP Connection Manager?

• XPS 8300: Install new hard drive 3 TB BSOD results after imaging but not after Win7 clean

  I have a XPS 8300 and the original Seagate 2 TB hard drive is dead. Because being forced to install a new HARD drive, I opted for 3 TB and bought a WD because I had horrible luck with Seagate repeatedly.

  Anyway, I installed the new HARD drive and booted from the Windows 7 64 bit Pro installation disc and attached my external drive to backup and choose the backup image to the new disk. It completed without error, but when the computer restarts, I get a blue screen of death with the 7B stop code. I tried to put the HARD drive in a box and attached to another computer, and all my image files are there so I know that the computer was able to write the image to the new HARD disk. How to fix the BSOD errors? I set to update to the latest version of the BIOS (A06) but always the blue screen. I tried to install the latest Intel drivers also and which does not seem to do anything.

  Frustrated, I installed Windows 7 clean on this drive and I am writing this message from him. The drive appears in my computer as a 2 TB. Disk Management displays 100 MB System Reserved Partition, Partition C: of 2047 GB and 746 GB unallocated.

  You cannot start Windows 7 on a 3 TB drive. You can use it for data, but not as the system drive. Windows 7 can only start TPG on systems with BIOS UEFI, which does not the 8300.
