• Drop-down box and a dynamic presence

  I hope this makes sense.

  I have a drop down box with multiple values inside. Based on the user's selection, subforms and the different areas will be visible or hidden. To do this, I built a switch statement on the output of the dropdown event. The statement works fine until I have start to introduce dynamic properties to one of the subforms.

  Two of a repeating subform fields should be hidden or has visible again according to the choice in the drop-down list. However, once you have added multiple instances of the subform, it only mask/displays the FIRST field in the subform. I need to hide/display-ALL fields when the subform is repeated.

  To do this in the first selection, I created a statement through all instances and all these fields to be hidden or visible value as required. However, it does not work. Not at all. Even in the first instance as before.

  I hope I'm making sense. Here is the code that I use for my statement:

  I still have a problem, however. If I already added the subforms and then select the option drop-down list, it works great! However, if I select a menu item drop-down, THEN add lines, added lines have visible fields I would like to stay hidden. Is it possible that I can call the case statement when clicking on a button? Or I have to put in another switch or if the declaration on the buttons? I think it would be easier if I could just remember the swtich on the drop statement. Unfortuantely, I don't know how to do this.

  I have w7 x 64 office services and tablet and writing are disabled.
  However, I see the shit 'hand with a pencil icon' in all the check boxes and drop down menus.
  It is not even recognizable on small boxes and is a total bore.
  I run my desktop PC with w7 x 64 for over a year and the symbol appeared after I've upgraded to IE10.

  Meanwhile, I think that I found the real cause.
  I had turned off the segue UI fonts during the day even when I updated to IE10.
  Strange as appears only in IE10 I assumed it it was due to the update.

  The id is applied by (I think) the skin of the ChoiceBox class. You don't need to define.

  You must apply the css in an external style sheet. You can apply the external style sheet to any parent of the box of your choice, or on-site (the most usual way to do it).

  Hi mdsavol,

  Your observations are accurate. The 'suggestions' are previous entries in the same column that correspond to what has been entered so far in the active cell. The only direct user control is to activate the function turn on or off in numbers preferences > general.

  There are other ways to include or exclude items of suggestions:

  • To remove typos in the suggestions list, the user must correct the typos in the cell above the active cell. If they are more in the list, they won't be presented as suggestions.
  • To include selections added to the list, the user must enter these suggestions in the individual cells above the active cell and column where they are wanted as suggestions.

  There was a request here a while there is a list of suggestion 'live' similar to those of some websites, which offers a descending list of possible entries as a type in an input box.

  The only way I see to reach a solution similar to what you have asked is to use as many lines at the top of the non-en-tete of the table section to list the items likely to repeat in your table, and then hide the lines. You'll need a list for each column where you want to use this feature with a list previously planted. Existing items will then require a likely hit up to three, then a click to choose from a list small enough to enter a value into a cell.   I think this is a related issue of Windows, because it is the Manager to save the windows file that we are talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help with this one, I think.   You talk about the tab order? If Yes, go to Edit - Preferences - forms and make sure the box "Automatically adjust tab order when changing fields" is NOT checked.
