  I'm working on a team of average size of a company product developers who will use Flex on the front-end, remote access services for Java objects on the server, etc.

  Right now, I just created a sample application with a Flex Builder in Eclipse project and the use of WTP.

  I'm looking for advice or suggestions on the best way to organize a large Flex/Java project for the team with subversion, etc.

  Is it wise to record all of the Flex Builder project (i.e. files properties etc..)?  Our development environments will be identical, because they will be the virtual computer images.

  I did a lot of research and found a few bites, but I thought I'd see if I could get feedback from other people who have experience with this or are organizing their code source etc.

  1. Yes. Note that once Java and Flex in the same project, I first had to create a Java project, and then something like Flex Project Nature > add Flex Project Nature. Try to do the reverse (start with a Flex project and add the Java code) worked for me.

  2. it's been great. Franck Wolff, the lead developer, has been very sensitive on their forum (even with stupid questions that were actually my fault). He added that some requested features for as3 Enums, and overall we were pretty happy. We do not actually use the fanciful granite features (other than his actionscript generator gas3 of objects for the AMF client-side); We use it mostly just because we moved to her before the Blaze. However, we have no intention to the flame.

  3. Yes, throw us just jars of granite in our war, although maybe this isn't the right thing for everyone. We have a heavy enough demand, so we can dominate the server simply assume.   Since no one answered my call, I sat and researched and studied WaveBurner behavior and I can myself answer my question and solve. Since there were a lot of people asking similar questions on WaveBurner files I will post what I learned.

  Whenever you drop your audio files in the list window to make your WaveBurner CD copy not copy your audio files, but relies on the original audio file, where they are located. So whenever you move the files orig. and you open WaveBurner, it can't find those and displays an error window to suggest it will search for the missing file or if you know where he is now lets you find manually. WaveBurner usually place the .wb3 project file that contains everything including your home folder.

  For this reason, I reserve now an audio file WaveBurner also folder in my home folder. In order to save themselves from WaveBurner cannot find the audio file, all audio files that I do, I put in my folder of audio files WaveBurner first, then copy them in WaveBurner from there.

  When I need to use a bigger hard drive I copy .wb3-WaveBurner projects based, but also my

  Sound folder WaveBurner for the home folder on the new hard drive.

  WaveBurner is now all audio files without problem.

• How to COMPLETELY UNINSTALL Flex 3?

  I got Flex 3 Standard installed on a pc. I uninstalled it 1 month ago.
  We bougth 2 new Flex 3 Professional licenses. When we try to install the version pro on this computer, it is by default in the standard # license, and as my new copies of PRO are a full license I could not use the professional utilities. I did like 12 calls to half of the India today, and they all seem to want to sell me gold, bronze and silver packages. They say that I am connected to tech support, but I get sales every time.
  
  My question is. How to COMPLETELY UNINSTALL FLEX of my computer? I don't want to linger series files, or anything that prevents me to install a professional version. Before ask you, yes all my copies are legitimate, as calls of 12 + have checked, double-checked and recorded. Help, please!

  It seems that, in order to develop, Flex at base of plugins using the vSphere Client Plugins SDK Web and get 'full integration', the developer is encouraged to use a MVC framework which is part of the SDK. In addition, I see things that seem to indicate that, once the plugin is runing in the context of the VC, actions will be triggered by the context running, etc...

  It may seem that in order to develop a base Plugin, the user interface must be developed, compiled and deployed each time.

  How should we do about writing a typical user interface application where the developer is able to set breakpoints, etc...? I can do it now if I do not use the hooks of VmWare, such as previously mentioned, but what if I wanted to exploit the pegs supplied?

• How better to convert AVCHD 1080/60 p in MPEG2 SD to bury on a DVD?

  I use Pr CS5.5. I imported and edited files AVCHD 1080/60 p (from a Panasonic TM700), made my editing, and now I want to burn the project on the DVDs. send it again, using the default settings it and burn a DVD produced pretty ugly results. I guess using Adobe Media Encoder to do the conversions would be much better, and I watched a tutorial by Jeff Bellune on how to do this in CS4. Two things that have changed since then are a the new format AVCHD 1080/60 p, and that Pr CS5.5 has a few features more in his window to the SOUL. Someone has suggestions on what settings to use? Also, looks like 1080/60 p 720/60, p where the recommendation of Belluno must perform the conversion in two stages, one for design and one for interlacing? Thank you!!

  The first question is - do you have a card CUDA?   If so, export directly from PP (using export instead of the queue) to the use of DVD MPEG2 highest bit rate that you can while editing always the footaage on the DVD (do not go beyond "8" for reliability Issos on older players).  Set the Dolby audio, 192.

  CUDA cards produce the best down to the level of all the other options (i.e. not CUDA or queuing in Media Encoder) because of the algorithms used.

  If you do not have a CUDA card so make sure you check "Use Maxmimum render quality" in the export dialog box.  This will significantly slow down export, but it worth it.

  DO NOT export directly to still and still have to do the conversion because he will be less good quality all round.

  95% of all to delivery needs a manufacturing of DVD, so we went through a lot of trial and error to get the best possible quality!

  I would like to do instead of initialize = "{changeSkin('skins/Plain.swf') ;} "East of refers to an item in the collection ArrayCollection.  How can I do this?  I'm relatively new to Flex.  I guess that there is a way to access the ArrayCollection collection and then access the individual table entry.

  One question though: the beta has said that it will expire in 30 days. It was an unexpected message from a version beta. What happens after 30 days? We cannot install the beta (or any future betas) again? Or we can just re - install and continue to play with it? We would like some perspectives on the possibilities before you start depending on some features of version 3 and find that we are out of the loop on the beta.

  You can use your serial number of Flex 2 for the beta of flex 3.

• How better to create a wireless network

  I just moved into a property where every room has an Ethernet jack.  I intend to wire hard as many devices as I can but I also want to create a wireless network that will cover the whole of the property.

  There is no single ethernet jack which will result in only a single wireless router will cover the whole of the property.  What is the best way for me to move forward?

  I have a new time Capsule and a couple of Airport Express.  Is it possible to use the Ethernet available in each room to create a unique wireless rather than Beach which extends from the time Capsule?

  The 'best' way would be something like the following:

  • Where the Internet stream comes home, it's where the Internet modem should be located.
  • Connect a wired router only or your Time Capsule near the modem and connect it to the modem by Ethernet.
  • If this place has an Ethernet distribution panel which feeds on Ethernet wiring to the rest of the House, then connect the router or the Time Capsule to this Panel.
  • You can then place your AirPort Express base stations where you need a Wi - Fi connection by connecting to the appropriate outlet.

  You can drag individual; or just select and drag as a group by holding down the Option key for you key keep on #1 Drive until you are sure that they all copied over correctly to Drive #2...  Or you can select all/copy/paste.    Do not erase the files from the first drive until you are certain that they all copied properly.

  I had a question about what would be the best way to import Motion 5 sequences into a Final Cut Pro project?

  Specifically, I started using both programs as a hobby, and I learned how to post Motion projects in Final Cut Pro as a generator.

  However, as most of my work involves a broad green screen and the effects of particles of edition, all the sequences essentially have to go through Motion. (as I am skeptical of 'Tools' Final Cut Pro when I can do more with proposal anyway)

  So is the only way to import sequences of movement is made by a generator in Final Cut Pro?

  I feel like there should be (and it might, like why I'm curious) a less encumbering way to import video edited between the movement in addition to hundreds of generators in Final Cut Pro.

  Using the method of generator, it's what I do, and I was wondering if I missed somewhere where I can import media motion editing in Final Cut Pro.

• How better to apply a data serial port FIFO buffer?

  I think I'm missing something very basic, so, please forgive my ignorance. All I want to do is to establish a simple FIFO buffer that has a logical sequence of quality control before the display of the data on the screen. I can't understand how best to continuously browse incoming data.

  The attached vi should explain much of it. My 25 bytes per second through the serial port of watercourses of the instrument. I heard it is best to put the VISA reading outside the loop, but I can't get my vi to read constantly new data if I do this (it stops at the length of the buffer specified).

  Is a possible solution to properly use a feedback node?
